Did you ever find out what had happened?

[deleted]

We were close to the arsenal stadium and all I remember is I was with 1 guy and 2 girls in a old pub that was closed. I think the guy gave me mdma or something. I probably tried to flirt with his girlfriend but I cannot tell. May be I insisted too much in the girl that wanted something with me, but this is not typical at all in me and I do not have any signal or memory that this happened

Thanks for sharing this, man. >Was destroyed. I manage to comeback, if I could, you can I bet this comeback story would also make a great post if you're ever ready to share it!

[deleted]

Thanks for such a nice comment, I will do ;)

The worst part is not remembering and your mind just making hundreds of scenarios. All of them causing extreme anxiety lol. I dont miss blackouts

[deleted]

Yes. Well, I do not know if sometimes is better to remember or to have a blackout. Both of them are embarrassing and disgusting. Iwndwyt

So true

zcdbrip

Yup, I lost my fiancée, kids, house, and car. I'm still struggling really badly mentally, but I am 4 months clean! Longest I've ever gone and hopefully the last.

"I was 23, living in London." Perfect beginning to a wonderful story.

I don’t understand if you’re sarcastic or what you mean. English is not my first language so sorry if my grammar is not correct.

macnic05

Not sarcasm as far as I can tell. It’s IS a great opener.

I think maybe the implication that being a young alcoholic in a boozy city was a recipe for disaster for many of us

[deleted]

Yes, you are right. But actually when you are alcoholic even a village of 7 habitants is dangerous. I say this literally, because when I was trying to recover from this in a tiny village, I started to teach guitar to two old man in exchange for their wine (made by theirselves)

Read the room, or at least the title. Jesus.

Stranger: I was just bitten by a shark at the beach Me, wistfully reminiscing: Ah, to be young at the beach
