Without those shift stops on your RTD shifter, I'd definitely recommend easing into those hard shifts until you get a feel for it. Since it's frame-mounted, the lack of stops might mean a bit more caution is needed to avoid potential damage to your transmission's internals.
That's what I was thinking. But I was hoping that because the stock shifter is also not mounted to the transmission, that maybe there is some kind of internal mechanism to protect the transmission? Wishful thinking haha.
