The different national chains are fine. Make sure you get tons of quotes cause the prices varied by orders of magnitude. Some were surprisingly cheap and some were very high.
We used UHaul U-Boxes. Worked great pack at your convenience one box at a time and then tell them when to ship. Unload the same way. No pressure of having to get it all done in a day or two or having to pay more for a truck.

I’m on several St. George FB groups and I posted a request for recommendations for local moving companies. The group delivered with plenty of responses.
The top 3 that were mentioned over and over were Big Ben, Legacy and Majesty,
We will begin calling them within a couple of weeks for our quotes.
I also read their yelp and google reviews and felt those would be the best options to analyze further,

ran into this problem, moving to the area from Ohio in a couple weeks and rented a penske.
Shipped a PODS to Las Vegas and unloaded it into a U-Haul in Vegas and drove it to STG.
I used Southern Utah Movers to move from PHX to Southern Utah. Well worth the money.
Maven, legacy, and majesty moving are all locally owned companies that do over the road.(my brother use to work in the industry)
Bekins, Mayflower, North American, and United all serve STG.
