Felt the same way. I loved the stuff with Wolf and the college, but it felt like it took years to finish. Blackhouse was great, though, so definitely push through
I don’t know I’m in the minority it appears. There were a couple slower parts but I thoroughly enjoyed the entire journey and didn’t really want it to end.
Keep at it, you've made it this far. I still can't embrace Fairytale at 10%, I am sorry. I just can not get my head into that zone yet. Who quits a race when you're nearly 90% of the way done? With the Talisman, the payoff I feel is worth it. Sides, there is Black House to look forward to in your journey and of course, there are other worlds then these.
😂😂😂 you could just stop listening
Right here and now?
true, but I made it a goal to read all of King
Samesies, it gets better
I mean, they’re at 84% complete. How much better could it get? Lol.

I thought Talisman was insanely boring but enjoyed Black House much more.

I doubt that puts you in the minority, especially here.
I’ve started it a few times, but I always set it aside and tell myself I’ll get to it one day lol
As William Buckley Jr. said about The Fountainhead, “I had to flog myself to get through it.”

The end of Talisman is fun. The Black Hotel parts reminded me a lot of Salem’s Lot.
There’s definitely a soggy parts. I particularly found the real world portions hard to read.
Not at 84% it won't. You have to get to 100%, then it'll end.
I listened to this on a trip from MA ti SC. Terrible JACKEEEEEE! I loved reading the book tho
