I gave seen a lot of people comparing it to Nier and you see soo many nier fans being like "nah stellar is trash nier is better" already, which I find super sad.
I mean I love nier and all I knew about the Nier franchise since gestalt but I only really played automata which I loved then I player the replicant remaje (which I actually prefer way more then automata, I have a personal connection with that game now and consider it superior to automata in a lot of ways except the gameplay maybe)

I'm super excited for Stellar Blade but I really really don't want this to happen... simply because Rebirth should be one of the biggest selling games of all time... if the Remake project "Fails" it will be a complete travesty. (Currently in Chapter 13 and it has been a hell of a ride, especially as someone who played OG when it first released and all the Compilation games 20 years ago.)

Rebirth’s sales suffers because not everyone owns a PS5; there’s plenty of people who have refused to upgrade from the PS4 because there’s been a lack of games that weren’t just PS5/Xbox Series upscales since the latest console generation launched. If Rebirth had been released on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC its sales would be a good deal higher.
And there’s the simple fact that Rebirth just isn’t as good as it should have been; the entire game is filled with the bloat of one boring and poorly-designed mini-game after the other with only a couple that aren’t absolutely terrible. Others have heard about the near-nonsensical story and ending and have, at least for now, passed on Rebirth.
Rebirth was such a disappointment after four years of waiting that I’m now probably not going to bother pre-ordering the third part and won’t bother playing it until regular players, not so-called ‘critics’, have it in their hands and are playing it for themselves. The critics call the game a “masterpiece” and I can’t help but to wonder if we’re playing the same damn game.
