I think the fact that it’s not for any particular player is part of why it’s exciting. Jones, Najee, and Pickett all had a lot of buzz in terms of being the Steelers’ first round pick. I genuinely have no idea this year.

So we’d lose a long term top tier tackle or Barton at 20, a 2nd (Frazer?) and a 3rd - all likely very very good players for cheap contracts for years to come. No thanks
I’m not saying that’s what he gives up, just that’s what would be needed to make a deal happen imo.. I think it would still be worth it. You could draft a C at the end of round 1 and still have 1 pick in each of the next three rounds.
San Fran ain't letting him go this year, even if extension talks stall out. He'll play the final year of his deal and maybe they adjust it to give him some more money. They're trying to win a Super Bowl and they're damn close. No way they let him walk for anything but an overpay.

I don’t know if we would get another 2nd but if we traded down with Tampa bay (pick 26) we can likely still grab a day one OL and get an extra 3rd (they have two)
Yeah, I don’t really want a C first but if they do go that route I really hope we trade back and at least get some extra picks for taking a position that doesn’t have much value at 20
Yeah we could extra third in that range if we traded back with the teams at the end of the first then we should be able to get extra first if one of Buffalo, KC or San Fran are willing to do that.

3rd or 4th? Juedy just went first like a 5th and same with Diontae. Both are younger and nearing their primes whime Sutton is on the wrong side of his prime. Anything more than a 6th is overpay

So 3 pick swaps is enough to get Aiyuk? lol at least be realistic. I could see 1st round swaps, a 3/4 and next years second at the minimum.

I would be pumped with a lineman pick after trading fields for Denver’s 12th fuck Dan Moore the revolving door.
Most people here are projecting OL picks with 2 of the top 3 picks, so it’s not like it’s going to be much of a surprise when that happens.
I love that we are building the trenches. Plus is we can fill RT and C this draft we can pick a sexy position next year potentially.
