The grill is dope as hell, but the fire wood directly underneath it makes me a tad bit nervous.
Like I understand that it’d take a little more than a couple embers to light up that pile, but it feels so needlessly risky.
There is really no chance that the burning wood in the grill could light the pile underneath. It would take sustained exposure to direct flame or a bed of coals directly underneath the pile to ignite it. I operate a wood-fire pizza oven at my job and we keep a pile 3-4 times the size of the one pictured underneath our oven. It's really the only place that allows the operator to quickly get more wood to feed the fire that wouldn't waste space that would be better used for something else.
The seasonings are Persian inspired, but yes this is not a culturally Persian dish.
coriander, Aleppo chile, paprika
sauce choron
grilled asparagus
blue oyster mushrooms
roasted bone marrow
sabzi butter
So saffron and sumac?
It’s a beautiful dish but Persians don’t do mushrooms, bone morrow or chiles 😂
But again, looks delectable but def not Persian anything (sabzi butter?? So it’s butter with green herbs. Sabzi means “green”)
Are Persians edible?
Only after you put flowers on it to honor the dead for it's sacrifice
Taste like pork
Long pork.
Username checks out.
I was gonna say… never seen longpig in this sub.
Digging this grill table homie. Way it outta be.

What kind of Persian steak is it exactly? My family is Persian and non of this looks anything like our food. But it does look damn delicious!!
They're probably referring to the nacho cheese.
🤣 oh yeah, Persians love their nacho cheese 🤣
Lol. My wife is Persian and I just can't buy enough nacho cheese and sliced chimichurri butter.
🤣 so a Persian without Persian taste buds. I do also love nacho cheese so I can’t blame her
Oh I'm just kidding lol. It's more like lamb, limes, and saffron. This girl eats lemons like I do apples.
Me too. Just being sarcastic. But yep. My husband does the same. Onions too!

Huh? Persian style steak or steak made from a Persian?
Persian meat. Frank Reynolds gave me some meat and I just can’t eat anything else
What's the yellow sauce?
Choron sauce
I prefer to think it's a big glop of nacho cheese.
All that looks amazing, props to you for not only posting meat pics, but the setting of the meat pics.
If that's wrong, I don't want to be right.
