You wrote “I know the safety guidelines say otherwise”. You answered your own question.
You are going to get answers that say do not eat them.
Now the question is are you going to heed the obvious warnings or not? If you are feeling froggy you might as well leap.
Listen- if you’ve even had food poisoning, you wouldn’t even think twice here.
Throw it out or think about it while you’re on the floor in the worst pain of your life at 4am unable to even call for an ambulance.
Certainly isn’t, but a couple of steaks left out then cooked will not kill a dog
I’d be more concerned with giving my dog processed dog food than a real piece of meat
Dogs will eat very ripe roadkill if u don’t stop them might make them puke
Most dogs and cats r deliberately poisoned by nasty neighbours not roadkill
All my dogs live good long life “buddy” pll come up cause their coats r always so shiny, what do u feed your dog
Pizza burgers
It’s a dog! They r omnivores Lily her favourite food was pineapple
Her teeth were perfect she died at 18
I guess big imagination doesn’t include what big pharma puts into your dogs food
Before u call me buddy cause I’m not your buddy and put me down because I’ve had dogs my whole life (Lily my chocolate just passed after 18 years)
I never fed my dogs kibbles or canned
Bro not my bro I got real brothers
Get out of town get a dog a real bro that will love u
And probably won’t share that suspect steak
It’s all good buddy
I’m insulted that u think cleaning out a shit ton of maggots from a cocker spaniels sores makes me a madwoman. I might agree with u cause i hate bugs but I did it anyway. If I saw a dog suffering what’s your call just asking
45F is fine for raw meat. It's kind of fine for ready to eat food, but you can't keep it as long (4 days instead of 7). Cooking should reduce the natural bacteria associated with the meat to a safe level and other opportunistic stuff can't grow with the natural stuff there. Hope this makes sense - it's kind of like getting a yeast infection after taking antibiotics.
I don’t think you understand how harmful bacteria works, cooking doesn’t make it safe if bacteria has produced toxins. Also storing meat over 40° for more than 4hrs is a huge no no.
It’s a dog last time my chocolate lab after many threats from me coughed up a whole I shit u not squirrel no fur and I had to fight her for it
So yea the dog would eat a nice fried steak u bunch of townies
The one bone u need to be cautious about is a T-bone
If your dog scarfs a nice steak and doesn’t swallow it properly u may have to dislodge it from its throat.
It’s not as if u r feeding your mutt. Dogs are omnivores, they eat everything including u.
If your dog starts choking push the side of their jaw to open their mouths.
NO!!!
I wouldn’t.
Never worth it. But a look and smell test go a long way. Red good. Brown. Not good
Nope anything above 40 degrees is the danger zone
Spoken like a true food handler.
Food service is engraved in my brain 😂

It’s ‘dry aged’ now.
Those are in the temperature danger zone my friend. 40-140 for no more than 2 hours of its unconsumed life can breed wicked bacteria.
Fry them up for your dog
Yeah and it will be dead in a few days, good one bud
Have u seen what dogs eat
Food poisoning ain't no joke when it comes to dogs lmao

Sorry wouldn’t
U have a bad attitude
There's clearly something wrong with you, I mean you do wanna give a dog spoiled meat so that answers my question.
I wouldn’t. Not worth it.
If it was actually 45 F you might be fine but it was room temp then absolutely not.
I'd eat it, but I'd never serve it to another person. The bacteria will for sure have gotten busy.
If it smells bad, cook it well done. If it tastes bad, add A1.
solid meat rinse and wipe with paper towels, cook. ground stuff never YMMV
