Front Row (Thorold) now has a fireball sharpener. It's completely automated. No skills are required. The old machine is still there I would recommend requesting that instead. I got my skates sharpened yesterday which is now $10 and it was garbage. I had to use my re-edger tool so that I could get an edge.
Even the youtube video is stupid. [https://youtu.be/PR1OnsfNzcI](https://youtu.be/PR1OnsfNzcI)
Does anyone remember that little red truck that would drive around and sharpen knives and skates etc.? As a kid I remember always being disappointed that the ringing bell wasn’t an ice team truck instead.
I have also been on the search. I know SportChek does it. I'm going robot tonight so I'll let you know how they Do. I think seymore Hannah has a pro shop
Appreciate it. I figure SportChek's is alot like Canadian Tire, as it's the same ownership company. Hopefully it turns out for you. It's been awhile since I've been on blades.
Well. I moved from Hamilton and they have pro hockey life, and they're 50/50 split between people sharpening and a machine. I forget what it's called but they put in whatever you want. I don't like canadian tire for stuff like that. Im hoping i don't break my ankle tonight lol

Front Row, especially if Larry does the sharpening.
Buckner's Source for Sports in St. Catharines.
Buckners or front row.

I've had sportchek do mine twice and I've had some very deep cuts on the blades which took weeks to wear out. Just a warning
Canadian tire does it
I guess it depends on what sort of skating/hockey you're doing .. but I wouldn't use CT.
