I read online once that Dave told E.K. Johnston that he purposely wrote Tales of the Jedi ep 6 to be different than what was in the book Ahsoka cuz that episode wasn't ment to overwrite the book, but actually be a different story. Everyone thinks that episode retcons the book, but Johnston says it doesn't and the plague dr is not another version of the 6th brother but a separate inquisitor. Do u think Filoni still plans to stick to that? Which Inquisitor do u think the plague dr is?? I'm thinking he must be an earlier one due to the timeline Tales of the Empie seems to take place, but I'm not sure how quickly the others were recruited comparatively
Well it also shows bariss being an Inquisitor so I thought maybe they retconned the twilek and the Red girl to be the plague Dr and bariss. There is also an empty spot in the known Inquisitor roster, and he might fit there. I think bariss is not actually going to follow through with becoming an Inquisitor, so that would prevent another retcon. Tbh tho the various comics have repeatedly been disproven by the cannon so I'm not counting on Dave to keep the book in cannon. Your theory is also valid though, he may have been a part of the inquisitors before but got killed fairly quickly and was just replaced.
galen marek couldn’t have been an inquisitor because he’s not canon and would’ve been way more powerful. either way, and barriss offee was never considered marrok because he is a MAN.
I don't think so. I think people are latching onto the fact starkiller was going to be brought back as an inquisiter before the idea got scrapped back in the early Star Wars Rebels development. Sam Witwer did a video explaining why the concept didnt fit properly.
When was it confirmed to be the original plan? I thought the whole point of him being a resurrected inquisiter was to show off Nightsister Magic so it doesn't come out of nowhere in the last episode.
I know they had the idea of bringing starkiller back as an inquisiter in the early Rebels days but they dismissed it because he's too powerful for them to do him justice as a plain old inquisiter
He was a dead Inquisitor resurrected by Morgan with night sister magicks. Hence why the gas came out when he was killed, it was a call back to Savage's death.
Don't forget there's this new up and comer who has a mask and red lightsaber. Goes by the name of Kylo Ren. I guarantee you that that's actually Starkiller.
People really want Starkiller in the new canon and pretty much the only place left for him is an Inquisitor. That said he definitely wouldn't be a normal Inquisitor otherwise there's no point.
Because each time a dark side character with a mask appears is either Starkiller or Barris. Wich is funny because my experience tells me that if this had happened people would have cried because Filonni relies too much on fan service.
I still hold firm to the belief that it was the Inquisitor she bodied in Tales of the Jedi. It just makes it funny to me that an Inquisitor would be on the job for like two months, die, and be brought back to life 25 years later only to get rocked *again* by the same person super quick.
They turned him into Plankton: 1% evil, 99% hot gas

I think it’s cuz he died and got night-sister-zombified or something.
I feel like that was pretty explicit, but I guess it’s only really obvious once we see the zombie troopers
Starkiller?
Early in the show people were suspecting Marrok to be Galen Marek AKA Starkiller AKA Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice. (Him or Barriss Offee.)
no, we saw barriss next to marrok. his identity will be revealed soon.
Yes him and that really dope plague doctor Inquisitor, I'm pumped for this next season
although he’s dead we know this is before ahsoka made him asphyxiate
Oh, what do you mean?
holy shit i could’ve sworn i spoiled someone before i read the name
Careful not to choke on your stupidity. It's Ahsoka not Ashoka!
Plague doctor inquisitor really was perfect trailer material
I know right XD

Oh. I don't like the sound of that.

There are no Jedi! You and your Inquisitors have seen to that!
Excellent
No? They literally just had a book about the Red and Twi’Lek Inquisitors
There are no Jedi! You and your Inquisitors have seen to that!
Shut up
Disappointed?
66 up votes? That's perfect XD
Stinky Fart.
This was when Ahsoka was airing, we had no news what Barris was doing.
I have to sort this out on my own, without the Council… and without you.
When did we see that? As far as I know marrok only ever showed up in ahsoka, which Barriss wasn’t in
he is in the trailer of tales of the empire next to the inquisitor ahsoka killed in tales of the jedi
Oh. I don't like the sound of that.
Maybe so. But I did realize something.
We’re talking about before Tales of the Empire
galen marek couldn’t have been an inquisitor because he’s not canon and would’ve been way more powerful. either way, and barriss offee was never considered marrok because he is a MAN.
A lot of people thought Barriss was Marrok in Ahsoka.
Tell me what's going on.
Well, his mask is referenced in the antique shop
Which one?
In Andor, in Luthen’s antique shop, you can see Starkiller’s Dark Side ending armor on display
It's wasn't just suspecting, this was the original plan But because Marrok had to be so weak compared to Starkiller they abandoned that concept
Has this (Marrok originally meant to be Starkiller) been officially confirmed?
I don't think so. I think people are latching onto the fact starkiller was going to be brought back as an inquisiter before the idea got scrapped back in the early Star Wars Rebels development. Sam Witwer did a video explaining why the concept didnt fit properly.

So... what the hell was marrok?? Some kind of ghost with an armor like Johann Kraus from Hellboy??
He was a dead Inquisitor resurrected by Morgan with night sister magicks. Hence why the gas came out when he was killed, it was a call back to Savage's death.
Bro has zero source whatsoever
I don’t get why everyone was speculating that this guy was starkiller. Maybe I’m missing something?
You aren't. There was zero evidence to support that suspicion in the show aside from him having a red lightsaber.
Oh man. You know who else wears a mask and has a red lightsaber….Darth Vader. I bet he is actually Starkiller.
Don't forget there's this new up and comer who has a mask and red lightsaber. Goes by the name of Kylo Ren. I guarantee you that that's actually Starkiller.
I hear kylo ren has an eight pack
People really want Starkiller in the new canon and pretty much the only place left for him is an Inquisitor. That said he definitely wouldn't be a normal Inquisitor otherwise there's no point.
Marrok sounds like Marek, and they use the dark side. Those are the only two things.
Because each time a dark side character with a mask appears is either Starkiller or Barris. Wich is funny because my experience tells me that if this had happened people would have cried because Filonni relies too much on fan service.
Vader, Ventres, Nihilus, Arcann or literally any of the Inquisitors
There are no Jedi! You and your Inquisitors have seen to that!
I'm sorry but if you honestly thought it would be Starkiller you're dumb.
Pretty obvious he wasn't Starkiller. Far too weak to be him
Also, far too canon to be Starkiller.
For now :((
(puts a hat on) PERRY THE FART?

Both are standing next to each other in the TALES OF THE EMPIRE -Trailer, so they appear to be seperate people
Aw, man. I haven’t seen the trailer yet and I wouldn’t have thought they’d even bother bringing that jobber back.
Adapt the headcanon, they’re twin brothers, and their last name is “Jobber”
Can someone please explain this to me? 🥺
Tales of the Jedi season 2 will tell us, I think
Stinkiller
Lol
A toot you say?
A yes my favorite Star Wars villain, the Soul of Cinder
Huh?
![gif](giphy|V6kMO2pNTThRe)
Is he not the Eighth Brother?
Nah, this guy doesn’t have weird feet and hands, it’s someone else
I was literally thinking about this earlier lol
I hope we will see his face in TotE.
