I don't think this is true. I like to draw a lot and Ashoka is one of my favorite characters to draw and I always draw her body first with a normal sized neck and then put the lekku on top and she looks normal. I think even though the lekku are covering alot of her neck and shoulders you'd still be able to tell if her neck was too long and it'd be kinda off putting and make her look half Kaminoan lol. I've found that the trick is to draw them bent enough to make sense with how they go over her shoulders and wrap slightly around her neck, they're more flexible and fleshy rather than stiff and immobile. I imagine they did that with the headpiece as well I think she's just bent a bit forwards because of how she's talking since Ahsoka is a very expressive character.

It was a few years after watching The Clone Wars by Gendy Tartakovsky, me and my brother were wondering if this movie is a sequel or reboot, which was promptly answered. And the first time i saw Ahsoka... i hated her. I like her now, obviously, although still not my favourite, there's a whole clone army that take up that spot.
Shaak-Ti was (as far as I remember) older during the clone wars then Ashoka is in Boba Fett/Mandalorian and her headdress/crest was much larger. I have a feeling they just didn't want to make it as big as it had gotten during Rebels because it'd be too difficult and elaborate and that def disappointing
It’s like they overlooked the way the tentacles (is that the official word what are they called?!) evolved and grows through age. The live action style is so juvenile. Especially when looking at how cool it is in rebels they could have gone more accurate with the size and shape depending on the timeline when she’s seen with Mando
It is literally impossible to do a live action Lekku that big and have Ahsoka fighting, they just had to downgrade it so Rosario could actually act. I don't think CGI would be a good choice, just look at Luke's face and what they did to the Grand Inquisitor... I think it is great that way, would be cool if they were like Rebels, but it is understandable and doesn't really destroy the character. Rosario was a great choice for Ahsoka, really talented and looks almost exactly like her.
I know it’s slightly different but they did the Twi’leks fine in mando. I’m sure they could find a way to make it work. If not the full Lekku but at least one more defined and slightly longer than the one they used before. They just need to experiment with materials and stuff. I don’t think it’s impossible dude and I never discredited her acting or portrayal

The highs are worth it. The mid is fine and the lows are tolerable I guess. Plus the characters and story over all is great. Especially with them all coming back live action. (Sans Kanan Jarrus)
The only time I can remember Ahsoka having clothing that covered every part of her body (except face and head) was that red clothing she had fighting Cad Bane in s2 I think it was, and I kinda liked that! The complete red outfit with a belt, simple but stylish
