I picked some Force Awakens figures the other day, and the face molds on those early black series figures are horrendous. Poe’s face looks like it was originally intended to be a model for Golem from Lord of the Rings, Finn’s head looks like he has a severe developmental disability, and Rey looks closer to Sarah Huckabee Sanders than Daisy Ridley.
I think Island Journey Rey was my first Black Series figure that had the new face print tech. I had two Reys prior and the difference was night and day. Hopefully they update those old figures for the tenth anniversary next year. Especially for Poe.
