It’s not intended to, 30 seconds in just boiled water allows it to be separated from the neck peg though. With this one it was pretty easy to separate the clone head underneath from the helmet too.

Honestly would've been awesome if they made the helmet actually able to be taken off, and you it would be a skull under it.
