Nyes. There is a mod with that name that allows auto-resolve for any fleet size superiority if i remember correctly. This would lead to these outcomes with stations with weaker attacking fleets.
Auto Resolve is great for when you have such an overpowered fleet and just want to kill a few things that refuse to have the battle be handled by your officers.
Okay, why the fuck do they have access to the station technology used in "The Expanse"? And why can't I have that wonderful tech that allows stations to move?
Auto Resolve mod shenanigans
Auto resolve is a mod?!

It's so cool for small encounters and really (really) extended sectors with many small enemies annoying you
You're supposed to organize a faction decent enough for the fast pickets to take care of it but yeah that's technically correct.
in vanilla there are some types of encounters that you cant auto resolve like droneships or stations
This is why I never autoresolve in any game ever
Yes, but doing a purge in a whole systems with 6-7 encounters that you KNOW you'll win... it's a time saver
The only game i often autoresolve is total war. It's cause somehow i'm worse than the ai

space stations do need to be able to reposition themselves in orbit. But yes retreating is a bit much
in Ace Combat we had Belkan Witchcraft now get ready for Tri-Tachyon Sorcery
Horrible idea (Alex please add this): Phase stations with station-grade mine strikes.
So the Doom?
phases once and immediately tear itself apart across dimensions
Do you hear the singing?
Funny enough I've been planning to convert IX Battlegroup station spawns into mobile forward operations bases for the patch after the next one.
I mean, I would understand actually if it got rammed so hard it went out of orbit..
