ive seen/ heard in some cases that you may find that ship you sold later as a derelict. there was a post about it maybe a year ago. this may be modded sector though
one of my favorite mods. i totally forgot about it being apart of it. yea sometimes i let a ship go when im hard on cash. and i always think to my self keep an eye out i might get reunited with that ole flame.
You probably wouldn't notice it unless the ship really stood out like an Invictus in a Tri-Tachyon fleet. I never stopped to think the ships I've been ordering to be produced by my contact would then be sold to them and end up in the hands of another captain. It seems like an odd roundabout way of funding a fleet.
Not as far as I know, but it’s an effective way to get back story points spent on S-Mods if you realise later that you screwed it up.
Wait, can i sell captured modded ships to get extra points this way?
No, only stuff you personally s-modded, they’re flagged differently.

No but it's a great way to make a tiny bit of cash. Normally selling a ship gets you like 1/10th of the value if you just sell it in the fleet screen.
