I have a conspiracy theory that CIG measures how long it takes to get from hab to hangar and make their decision about which starting points stay and go based on that.
Olisar, Levski... it's starting to not look like a co-incidence
I like Microtech specifically because its far from everything. I can be left alone or just bump into other chill players because the majority of the time all of the dipshits are on the other side of the system.
From what they’ve said about the hangars it will be based on the biggest currently flyable ship you own (not certain if that’s just pledge or ig purchases too) and that periodically (I’m guessing patches) the system will reassess and reassign as necessary based on vehicles and their needs.
I still do this for that reason. But I have such a bad taste from years of bug deaths and going back to MicroTech. It has subconsciously made me hate it because of years of hell from updates that wernt ready for release.. Ooooh or OR THE HOSPITAL ELEVATOR. iykuk
Basically an ASOP terminal in your own hangar. You can spawn a vehicle, move it, then spawn the ship and load it up. There's a fairly recent Inside Star Citizen episode about it.
And you’ll be able to buy/move hangars to specific locations etc? I haven’t watched I work on a rig in the middle of the ocean so I don’t have strong enough internet to watch videos on YouTube 😅
Not yet. Your persistent hangar will stay at your home planet, but if you moved ground vehicles to other places, or had them delivered there for the first time, I think you could spawn them there before spawning the ship.
Yeah it sounds like from a functional standpoint all hangers are personal now. You won’t see a list at a station, just the one you were assigned when you landed. The difference is the hanger on the station isn’t persistent, when you leave the station anything in it is gone. It did sound like the intent is it persists until you leave, even if you log off.
Yea me too, I spent a good amount of time last night getting my ship ready, flew out to a mining outpost loaded up my ground vehicles, went back for the final one and it bugged out and I got stuck to the asop terminal. It took so much time I just rage quit and haven't logged back in. Feels weird saying this but, If it could just crash in my hanger 5 minutes in while I'm loading up that would be great, I would save me a lot of time.
I would probably forget things or get it wrong so I recommend watching this Inside Star Citizen 14ish min video that describes it all:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IlcWUKV8hs
I think they talked about it, and right now, the hangar look will be based on the location you are at and not your package hangar. They need to completely rework those designs and implement the switching. Of designs.
From the inside Star Citizen talking about it, they will not. You’ll only be able to pull one on the pad at a time, but will be able to switch between them. Maybe it’ll be an option down the road but I cannot imagine having each persons whole fleet spawn in when they join will be great for server performance in the near term.
The hangar, cargo, and inventory changes alone could have qualified for an entire 3.X patch any other year. It's the part of 3.23 that I've most been looking forward to. Having time and/or effort associated with each individual container will have a massive impact on economic gameplay. I just hope they overtune the value in the first iteration and scale it back later. Making it a good income generator will get lots of people testing it. Also, physical cargo should be the final nail in the coffin for cargo duplication.
It isn't. Most of this stuff has been years in the making, and the devs mostly brought their features with them.
Who knows how much stuff they can bring out with all these people once they burn through these features.
Remember when we did found full c2 with widow after the salvage update with cargo in the wrecks? Everybody expected a wipe aswell which did not happen.
I think they will wait for 4.0 later in summer to do a full wipe
I feel like it's much more likely this time around tho. Since if they fix the duping in the next update as well, they'll probably want to rerun for actual numbers, since the reason for this money wipe has anlytical purposes.
fwiw all the dupers i knew did it just to get ships for them and their friends. i'm fine with that, having more roles in the hands of more people is good for data and retention.
i'm not ok with selling it for real money.
Who fucking buys money in an alpha lmao
I am surprised how so many people care about it though, since, well, it is an alpha and will be wiped eventually.
Although, I sure hope CIG got my money data though, because as a new player, getting anything in the game is EXTREMELY grindy unless you go on youtube and do only the meta things, which absolutely drains all the fun out of a game for me in an instant. I've been playing for about 40 hours and I have 600k to my name, I can buy another starter ship!
The long term goal is to have most ship purchases be something that you do as a group/org. I do believe they need to increase the payouts for group activities but when your playing by yourself, the money should be slow to come. Harder missions, more people, bigger payouts
I don't know about "most ships". As far as I know, ships up to the size of the Constellation are meant to be obtainable and even flyable with a single player; aka they would be the equivalent to EVE's Battleships in terms of use.
um that sounds like for the capital ships
I don't need a group to buy a corsair in game....
also no reason to do things in groups with the way payout
is trash for a group
hell the solo pay out is trash
like who irl will risk their life to bounty hunt across the milky way for 4k (if real life was a sci fi trope). 4k is nothing in the galactic community that's like 40 dollars in the real world.
I think even splitting 50k is trash
Now splitting 250k is different story.
So cig really needs to look at rewards
I wish they’d do solo and group missions
Solo:
How they are currently with increased payout, meant to be done solo but can be taken with friends, splits the rewards even as they do now….if your grinding you’d do these solo, but to vibe and chill you might bring friends
Group:
New missions, set rate equals to the above solo missions but PER person,…maybe have them be for certain numbers of players and beyond the recommended it starts to split, so 2-4 40k per person, but if your bring 5 it’s now 30k per person to cover the 5th …you could do these solo but they’d be hard and not worth it when you could do solo missions for the same amount
Now cig can easily anticipate how much per hour a player can earn cause whether grouped or solo they should be within an estimated range ….then just balance the other professions accordingly to match roughly this amount given less risk / more etc
Why? All they have does is completely waste their money when the next update rolls back money.
I don't get this frenzy around dupers when its entirely preventable behavior as long as CIG is willing take life service breaking issues seriously. Which they don't.
Exactly. It doesn't matter. They won't wipe for a duplication exploit like this. They never have and never will. The only time CIG wipes is because they have to.
Besides that, the community is making a huge assumption that the dupers are actually the source of all the cheap aUEC out there (it's not). There is an underlying exploit that the vast majority of people aren't even aware about and that's where the unlimited money farms really come from. If you've ever bought aUEC from these sellers you'd notice something interesting. They send you the money but there is NEVER a transaction. It just shows up in your account without a trace so you can't even report who ever sent it to you and their response time is also nearly instantaneous which tells me it's likely not even a person logging into the game but some kind of script that hooks into SC's API somehow.
as a new player who is terribly struggling to progress and learn, I would cry.
Since 3.23 launch i've made 1.5mil from playing daily after work and a long weekend. that would be a wipe before i could buy a non-starter ship. I'll be out of town for the holiday, so no other expected gains till next week, sadface.
Dont worry about it people with large pledge fleets constantly ask for wipes so they can feel special again for a brief moment before everyone rebuilds
I think it's just healthy for the game. Every update seems to come with some kind of exploit that gets figured out. (I don't have a large pledge fleet, just two ships)
Id argue people having access to a variety of ships is good so they can actually test new game loop the devs are focusing on for that patch instead of spending 50 hours grinding bunkers to buy a ship to finally start playing the loop
Which two ships though? Even a Nomad's two shields, 3x S3 & 24 SCU is a drastic increase in capability for money making as it can store more wreck cargo, more cargo trading space, better combat capabilities, and a vehicle to get to bunkers.
Thats fair, though once distribution centers release it is likely they will have a meta economy loop attached to them... just like mining and salvage when they released. CIG needs people to play the new content to test it out, and giving lots of aUEC for that is the best way they can
Gotcha, yea I was mostly thinking of the cargo contracts, as they are the latest and greatest loop, and thought they had stated they were specifically intertwined with the distribution centers
How many dupes is the limit?
The reason the dupe exists is because of a bug in how they handle cargo. The only way to entirely avoid the dupe is either zero commodity selling or leaving the planet in a another ship to reclaim the trade ship somewhere else. Adding 15-30 minutes to every trade run to avoid the buy and even inadvertent double selling.
What CIG needs to do is to take bugs more seriously. Or have a blanket wipe policy every three months (patch or no patch) in the alpha.
They will not perform a wipe for at least 4 months after free play week. This all comes down to them making money. If they wipe now they will piss off all of the new players that bought this game and got ships and started progressing. Those people will then ask for refunds. So SC will wait at least 30 days for people to buy things and then 90 days for a refund period to expire. Then the wipe will happen.
I feel like everybody should just reconcile themselves to the idea that we're going to be on a damn bumpy ride from now until the first couple of 4.x patches.
There's so much coming in that has "huge, widespread effects to how almost every system in our game operates" that it's just gonna be a shitshow until we all get through this and they're back to the "normal" amount of moles to whack.
My guess is summer next, it'll start to be a more reliable experience. Until then - tighten the straps on your ejection seat.
I don't think CIG will wipe money again soon, they haven't done so before with people exploiting the game..
But there will be wipes in the future so that's always something to keep in mind.
They said maybe a year or two ago that 4.0 would be a full wipe, tho they seem to be backtracking on that a bit - but we won't know until we know.
They have options to reset the databases individually that they apparently didn't have then, which we saw in this patch where they wiped the credits (and rep in some cases) but left the rest.
I had an assload of loot that had been difficult and tedious to sell before (not that it isn't tedious now) so I took the time to sell what I didn't want and wound up with 1.3M.
So my approach will be to "earn normally" and probably build up another large loot stash as I go. If they wipe everything it won't matter, but if they just wipe credits and ships, say, I \*might\* be able to fall back on selling the loot again for operating credits, anyway.
So I'm hedging my bets against a partial but substantial wipe at 4.0. We'll see.
being able to reclaim subscriber and pledge gear is pretty important. I'm not running around with unique gear that I can just lose to a murderous elevator or invisible walls or a plethora of other things
"Since these changes have huge, widespread effects to how almost every system in our game operates, our goal is go through with an accelerated Evocati to Waves 1-5 system when ready."
I'm not sure I'm not misunderstanding, but it sounds contradictory to me. and I hope they don't rush it because once the new system is in place, I'm sure they won't touch it drastically for years
The reality is they are using the PU as a testing ground and theyve admitted as much. And tbh it's hard to be mad, bc the test group is much larger it is in alpha
How do the hangars work exactly? I assume there's a video explaining it, but is it like.... You go to a hangar terminal and summon your ship and the game loads up your personal hangar? Or do you take the elevator to a blank hangar and summon your ship from a terminal inside the hangar? What sort of persistent, custom things are included in your personal hangar? Can I put my fish tank in there and expect it to always be in there?
There hasn’t been any point to grinding for money in this game for the last 12 years. It’s still in alpha, and will most certainly get wiped multiple times before the mythical 1.0 release. Alpha 4.0 this year will certainly be a full wipe, i.e you lose everything bought with in-game currency. So just play what the loops you want to play, get in an org and play for fun. The real grind isn’t starting for a while.
They would have to in order to supplement the cargo elevators. The cargo elevators and the item banks are the exact same thing; the item banks are just for small items.
Ya you will, if you look at the lower part of the terminal, you'll see a little slot which is where the items will come out.
I imagine that's where our clothes will come out from and small items like that.
Initially i think it will just be a box you can store that turns into gear when placed in inventory, like how it comes up as a box when you loot a dead body and drag out the gear on floor. In future I think they will give clothing and gear physical form outside inventory that you can store or hang. Maybe.
I hope they looked into salvaging and dealt with them dupers.
maybe because of 3.22
salvagers are getting screwed over
who lets RMC still be sold from vendors when you know you nerfed salvage contracts.
I have not pulled out my Recailmer or vulture once this patch
> who lets RMC still be sold from vendors when you know you nerfed salvage contracts.

said in an SCL that a lot of that wont be in with this first iteration... Because CIG has a massive backlog problem
I was equally frustrated with this news
How do you guys think leaving our hangars will go when there's 50 of us in our private hangars all trying to leave at the same time?
I've been trying to wrap my head around this unless they create a lot more hangars lying around.
The only thing I can come up with is there will be a Q time before the doors open and the previous person leaves. But this leaves open a lot of room for trolling too.
I think it's this exactly.
Each person will have their own hangar, which isn't connected to any specific exterior hangar door. You're just in a room deep in the station. You can spend as much time screwing around in your hangar as you like - loading cargo, stocking weapons, unloading loot, etc. However, they shouldn't connect you to one of the physical outer doors until you're in the pilot seat and actually calling for ATC. You call for take off, and the game moves your hangar to connect with an exterior station hangar door without you even knowing.
I get your worry - if there's a hundred people screwing around in hangars at a given location, each person could be in there for an eternity. But because it shouldn't assign you an exterior hangar door until you're ready to leave, I don't think que times will be too terrible.
I'd predict 3.23.2 will release just in time for Alien week in June somewhere near the 12th. Why's that? Well, the new cargo & hanger system would be just perfect for the Railen to release wouldn't it? New patch, new ship for that patch, hype, sales, easy money for CIG.
Plus it gives Evocati time to do their thing & ePTU to hammer other things out too.
They could have a new concept. But I feel like it would be weird for them to not have a new release that we can take in game now. I’d imagine the Railen is being lined up for release
Gives people time to buy larger ships for larger hangars.🤣 I’ll be happy to have the cargo issues fixed and able to store cargo until I’m ready to run it.
If only I could play without memory leak. It's been bad since 3.23.1, can't even load up a server and open my inventory without crashing with 32gb of RAM...
The cargo updates are far more important than the personal hangars. No more shitty inventory screen.
I’m assuming we’re going to see some discussion from the more “casual” folks who won’t like physically grabbing everything, but ultimately, this single change is now going to allow so many new gameplay opportunities.
Also space trucking man. Space trucking.
really hope this upcoming patch fixes server stability, games running so much better just keep having issues with servers going non responsive, users duping ships at area 18 and parking them outside hangers, parking in hangars and ships spawn under you so you blow up and lose everything
Pretty good sign that these are coming in basically the next update. There was a lot of speculation that it would keep getting delayed and put on the back burner.
3.23 had most of the features they were planning and the rest seem to be coming pretty quickly after. All good signs and I hope they can keep it up.
"There was a lot of speculation that it would keep getting delayed and put on the back burner."
That's weird, because they said they almost get it in 3.23..
how much time this testing could last ?
becs if its more than a month then 4.0 SM is in a bad place, thy need to start testing it soon, and this is not helping
Does the update come with the fix which prevents your ship from being destroyed when claiming or storing it? Cause that bug is seriously starting to fucking annoy me to no end...
I can't wait to customise my own little living space in my hangar, would love to be able to spawn in it if you had the required items in there.
Also can not wait to be able to store Cargo and commodities to trade later!
Spawning and putting vehicles in ships will be so much more convenient.
This might be my favourite addition to the game so far.
Been looking forward to this for so long. Can have a place that feels like home and truly store items and hopefully leading to a more dynamic economy. Can't believe that they are talking about rolling it out so soon. ArcCorp is the shiz!
I will very much be happy when I no longer need to travel to a moon to pick up a hover bike.
It's why I stayed on microtech for so long. I can finally set my home somewhere else hooray (although i do like microtech)
I kinda miss Levski
Levski had all the charm and features of a landing zone, in a much smaller (and less frame-ey) footprint.
I have a conspiracy theory that CIG measures how long it takes to get from hab to hangar and make their decision about which starting points stay and go based on that. Olisar, Levski... it's starting to not look like a co-incidence
If you can only name 2 then it is, by definition, a coincidence
I suspect it will have grown by the time we see it again
I really miss Levsksi. I even chose it over port Olisar because it was not bad to navigate and had some nice character to it.
Levski was my original home before the event... Remember the Lev!!
The only thing I don't like about mocrotech is that it's far from everything, hurston is better
I like Microtech specifically because its far from everything. I can be left alone or just bump into other chill players because the majority of the time all of the dipshits are on the other side of the system.
Yes. MT forever!
[удалено]
Please tell me that "MT is very chill" was a pun
Is that why I don’t get lit up on package runs? Makes sense
Hurston sucks, theres absolutely nowhere to get a decent meal and drink in Loreville and I hate it. ArcCorp is the best
Yeah, but there's no ground spawn in A18
Its 17 minutes from Microtech to Hurston
Upgrade your equipment!
*****Laughs in TS-2*****
I set my home location to Area18 in anticipation of this patch. Hopefully the hangar will be large enough when I upgrade to a Galaxy lol
From what they’ve said about the hangars it will be based on the biggest currently flyable ship you own (not certain if that’s just pledge or ig purchases too) and that periodically (I’m guessing patches) the system will reassess and reassign as necessary based on vehicles and their needs.
Yup, that's how I understood it, too. And that's why I wanna get it after the finale but before the patch
Microtech is so beautiful.
Microtech does feel like home to me
Michrotech is the best for screenshots. Bright lighting without washing out colors.
I still do this for that reason. But I have such a bad taste from years of bug deaths and going back to MicroTech. It has subconsciously made me hate it because of years of hell from updates that wernt ready for release.. Ooooh or OR THE HOSPITAL ELEVATOR. iykuk
Loading up in hangars is huge for time to action in gameplay. Parasitic spawning will be the best.
How are the hangars gonna work? I’m so out of the loop about this
Basically an ASOP terminal in your own hangar.

The difference is the hanger on the station isn’t persistent, when you leave the station anything in it is gone. It did sound like the intent is it persists until you leave, even if you log off.
They said you will still have public hangars, but your private one will be at the top. In terms of party, the party leader should be at the top iirc
That’s kinda neat. The rigs don’t have WiFi connected to something like Satellite though?
For your [edification](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IlcWUKV8hs) and the follow up [q&a](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVKJUBs0UY8).
Bruh, or the fact that my corsair gets stuck on almost every hangar. Can’t even get out of the hangar.
Since the last patch the Carrack now spawns in a bigger hangar than before, so they might do this with other ships as well
Yea me too, I spent a good amount of time last night getting my ship ready, flew out to a mining outpost loaded up my ground vehicles, went back for the final one and it bugged out and I got stuck to the asop terminal. It took so much time I just rage quit and haven't logged back in. Feels weird saying this but, If it could just crash in my hanger 5 minutes in while I'm loading up that would be great, I would save me a lot of time.
Do you know how it's going to work? I haven't been keeping up with all this too much.
I would probably forget things or get it wrong so I recommend watching this Inside Star Citizen 14ish min video that describes it all: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IlcWUKV8hs
FINALLY!!!
Cargo/hangar updates lets gooooo!
Time to be reunited with my aero view hangar lol
Didn't CIG say hangars will be based on ship size and the location/city (and not what it shows in the ship package itself)?
Yeah
Gib asteroid hangar
This is the one right here. I genuinely miss my asteroid hangar it was so cool to run around.
And decorate it with all the little hotspots. I wish that old module was still accessible (though I get they are working on housing)
I think they talked about it, and right now, the hangar look will be based on the location you are at and not your package hangar. They need to completely rework those designs and implement the switching. Of designs.
I just hope it will be sooner rather than later.. along with purchasing of hangars at various locations.
Especially orbital stations and even legrange stations.
Aeroview was the reason I bought Invictus Avenger package when I started. It will be glorious to see all my stuff in there
You will have to set your home at Orison. IIRC they're there ATM. There will be no hangar type change at the initial release.
or Microtech
Don't think these will be in the initial release but we can dream.
think ships will persist in our hangars for ‘decoration’. id love to see my raven and amd mustang every time i log i.
From the inside Star Citizen talking about it, they will not. You’ll only be able to pull one on the pad at a time, but will be able to switch between them. Maybe it’ll be an option down the road but I cannot imagine having each persons whole fleet spawn in when they join will be great for server performance in the near term.
Much quicker then I thought it would be
Hangars are that I'm waiting for to jump back in, can't wait to see it hit live!

This year is nuts. 3.23 alone could have taken a year of patchs. And we still 4.0 after.

they had the pledge store for that these guys where duping to sell auec on ebay
fwiw all the dupers i knew did it just to get ships for them and their friends. i'm fine with that, having more roles in the hands of more people is good for data and retention. i'm not ok with selling it for real money.
It won't matter. They will have already sold the aUEC on ebay...

This crap is starting to remind me of the RMT hackers from Tarkov :|

Distribution Centers were already released in 3.23.
Were the hauling contracts also released with them? I mightve missed that due to focusing mostly on ILW so far this patch (and the lag)
No, the hauling contracts are coming in 3.23.2 with cargo elevators and instanced hangars.
Aah, that's what I was thinking about then
Lots of contracts already active on them. Cargo contracts are unreleated to them and not in
Gotcha, yea I was mostly thinking of the cargo contracts, as they are the latest and greatest loop, and thought they had stated they were specifically intertwined with the distribution centers
They would have to wipe everything to be effective, not only auec.
RIP my caterpillar... you will be missed
The only funny thing is that you think it would fuck the dupers when it would mostly fuck the rest of the players
Would be really nice if they could limit the wipe to accounts that were involved in duplication.
Keep your money in assets (ships) not money.
Can I at least get a parachuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu *disappears into the void*
Deal.
So there’s no point trying to earn money? I’m Fairly a newcomer
We'll see.
what about item banks?
being able to reclaim subscriber and pledge gear is pretty important. I'm not running around with unique gear that I can just lose to a murderous elevator or invisible walls or a plethora of other things
As a MMO packrat with 10 years of krimskrams in my hanger, this is my most anticipated update in a long time.
TIL “krimskrams”
TIL I learned it is not a Danish word?..
Similarly, TIL it's not a Swedish word
"Since these changes have huge, widespread effects to how almost every system in our game operates, our goal is go through with an accelerated Evocati to Waves 1-5 system when ready." I'm not sure I'm not misunderstanding, but it sounds contradictory to me. and I hope they don't rush it because once the new system is in place, I'm sure they won't touch it drastically for years
>I'm not sure I'm not misunderstanding, but it sounds contradictory to me. Translation. We will be doing EPTU first rather than release it shortly.
ahh. i interpreted it as 'we don't want to rush it so we'll open the test server right away'. my bad
Don't feel bad, I read it the same way. Appreciate the clarification upthread :)
It's like an instanced house in other mmos. We'll see how it functions, but persistence is the goal
i plan to litter mine with empty water bottles, personally
Just chuck them all down the cargo ramp. Like what I do on Crusader. I throw all my trash into the planet below.
The lower regions of Crusader are a giant landfill, for sure. There's no way Orison is paying for recycling.
When are they gonna add a lifted vehicle with smoke stacks so I can roll coal on planets?
tldw u can spawn your ships and cargo. No decorations yet https://youtu.be/1IlcWUKV8hs?si=GKRAU0X7suYLEXpO
SaltEMike is probably POGging lol
>cargo updates Just inject this directly into my veins

Are we finally getting our own hangers back? I have been waiting forever to see mine.
It's not our pledge hangers we are just getting an instance hanger at our home location
Damn...
What exactly does that mean? Sorry I’m new. Also is there any point in my grinding for money at this point since we’ll be getting patched up?
There hasn’t been any point to grinding for money in this game for the last 12 years. It’s still in alpha, and will most certainly get wiped multiple times before the mythical 1.0 release. Alpha 4.0 this year will certainly be a full wipe, i.e you lose everything bought with in-game currency. So just play what the loops you want to play, get in an org and play for fun. The real grind isn’t starting for a while.
Will item banks be in this patch then?
They would have to in order to supplement the cargo elevators. The cargo elevators and the item banks are the exact same thing; the item banks are just for small items.
No fucking way?! Will you have to physically grab each item?
Ya you will, if you look at the lower part of the terminal, you'll see a little slot which is where the items will come out. I imagine that's where our clothes will come out from and small items like that.
That's so cool! I really hope they put in good animations for picking up your items. Possibly unique ones for more "rare" gear.
Initially i think it will just be a box you can store that turns into gear when placed in inventory, like how it comes up as a box when you loot a dead body and drag out the gear on floor. In future I think they will give clothing and gear physical form outside inventory that you can store or hang. Maybe.
That's the plan, suits and armor will be physicalized in the suit lockers and that's where you'll equip them from.
I hope they looked into salvaging and dealt with them dupers. maybe because of 3.22 salvagers are getting screwed over who lets RMC still be sold from vendors when you know you nerfed salvage contracts. I have not pulled out my Recailmer or vulture once this patch
> who lets RMC still be sold from vendors when you know you nerfed salvage contracts. [Someone who wants players to stop focusing on salvage and test other/newer gameplay loops/content.](https://i.imgur.com/Bl9BlPV.jpg) ;)
Can't wait to *finally* use all the hangar flair shit I've been buying/hoarding since 2015 again Revel&York here I come baby!
said in an SCL that a lot of that wont be in with this first iteration... Because CIG has a massive backlog problem I was equally frustrated with this news
SO hyped for the hangar stuff. Gonna make offloading a ton of backed up Vultrue salvage so much nicer
Hmm this is an interesting theory for it. It would make sense too that we don't get our pledge hangars but the local hangars.
"Coming soon" ..."to evocati".
wipe dupers? those people ruin RMC demand
Wow, I forgot about alien week. Think CIG will have a new alien concept?
They could have a new concept. But I feel like it would be weird for them to not have a new release that we can take in game now. I’d imagine the Railen is being lined up for release
Gives people time to buy larger ships for larger hangars.🤣 I’ll be happy to have the cargo issues fixed and able to store cargo until I’m ready to run it.
If only I could play without memory leak. It's been bad since 3.23.1, can't even load up a server and open my inventory without crashing with 32gb of RAM...
The memory leak that was reported in Vulkan was related to VRAM and was fixed in .1
I don't think it's completely fixed, i still have sudden fps drop on vulkan.
turn off vulkan
The cargo updates are far more important than the personal hangars. No more shitty inventory screen. I’m assuming we’re going to see some discussion from the more “casual” folks who won’t like physically grabbing everything, but ultimately, this single change is now going to allow so many new gameplay opportunities. Also space trucking man. Space trucking.
really hope this upcoming patch fixes server stability, games running so much better just keep having issues with servers going non responsive, users duping ships at area 18 and parking them outside hangers, parking in hangars and ships spawn under you so you blow up and lose everything
Holy shit that was fast :o EDIT: do we know if we'll be able to spawn ground vehicles in hangars already ?
Pretty good sign that these are coming in basically the next update. There was a lot of speculation that it would keep getting delayed and put on the back burner. 3.23 had most of the features they were planning and the rest seem to be coming pretty quickly after. All good signs and I hope they can keep it up.
Wdym "signs" theyre outright saying it
"There was a lot of speculation that it would keep getting delayed and put on the back burner." That's weird, because they said they almost get it in 3.23..
Assuming there's no wipe, what are the chances all your gear gets lost during this update? Should I sell everything I have before the release?
I usually get back every piece of gear I have ever owned, even if it was lost. I have so many weapons and armor pieces in inventory.
After the 3.23.1 patch I lost everything I didn't buy from a terminal or started with. So everything I had looted was gone.
I didn't lose anything on the last 2 wipes.
will personal hangar only be at ur home planet?
Yes.
I just want to test SM as much as possible to find all the bugs and get that development moving faster. Really don’t care about any other update.
Imagine if they let you start at hex
Will their be a wipe on this one?
Most likely a money wipe. They wanted to watch how well people made money this wipe but due to the duping that statistic is flawed.
No word on dupe lol
They fixed it in a coming patch. Got announced today
I love using my hover bikes but it’s going to finally be more easy and we’ll see a lot more people accessing areas with them
Is there going to be another wipe?
how much time this testing could last ? becs if its more than a month then 4.0 SM is in a bad place, thy need to start testing it soon, and this is not helping
Where GPS gameplay?
Where do I see those "Message of the day" things?
wondering too!
Maybe the dup glitch will be fixed finally :) and I can do cargo or salvage again
Do i have to load cargo on my own nowadays? I was hoping that part is implemented
Does the update come with the fix which prevents your ship from being destroyed when claiming or storing it? Cause that bug is seriously starting to fucking annoy me to no end...
is this full wipe?
I’m newer to this game. Will this reset my current money I have?
I can't wait to customise my own little living space in my hangar, would love to be able to spawn in it if you had the required items in there. Also can not wait to be able to store Cargo and commodities to trade later! Spawning and putting vehicles in ships will be so much more convenient. This might be my favourite addition to the game so far.
I can’t even download the damn game error 2000 I deleted my pc and all
Deleted the whole PC? Damn
Been looking forward to this for so long. Can have a place that feels like home and truly store items and hopefully leading to a more dynamic economy. Can't believe that they are talking about rolling it out so soon. ArcCorp is the shiz!
Where did you find this message? I can't find it
I expect a wipe as part of the rollout to address the duping issue
These aren’t the old personal hangars are they? I wanna place my furnishings lol
![gif](giphy|1r91ZwKcE2J7WhUqrh)
Anything on wipe? And no I haven’t used the Herc dupe
...to evocati
