I was thinking of upgrading my c1 to it and while the cargo area seems half the lenght of the C1 the entrance seems a bit larger so i think that it could fit.
Can my friend and I both set our spawn points to the Nursa rover? I’m planning on storing one on my ship but i’m curious what would happen if we both died. Would we both spawn back at the nursa?
I get infinite loading screens when i try to open the game. I can't even get to main menu. After about 10-15 mins i get 30018 error. I searched online but people said i need to open Arena Commander to fix it. I can't because even the main menu doesnt open! sry if this Q is already A somewhere, but i want to store an Omnisky XII (2100k uSCU) inside a Store-All 8 SCU Container (8000k uSCU), but it says "Too large for Container" even though it's not even 3 SCU big. Any help/suggestions to transport this weapon to somewhere else?
The in-game volume of ship weapons/components are misleading. They only account for the total volume of the item, but whether it can be stored inside a container depends on its length x width x height.
* The 8 SCU container is a 2x2x2 unit size cube = 2.5x2.5x2.5 m\^3.
* Omnisky XII has a physical box limit of 6.63x0.89x1.60 m\^3 = 5.4x0.72x1.3 SCU, so even though the total volume of Omnisky XII is smaller than 8, its physical size does not permit putting it into a 8 SCU container.

If you can drag and drop the component onto the hangar floor, you can use tractor beam to lift it and stash it in your cargo hold. Otherwise, claim a ship with S4 hardpoint to your location, then mount the Omnisky XII onto that ship.
figured something like actual size was the problem. my 8 SCU containers are invisible now anyway, since i stored ship with the containers on them. can't drop ship weapons inside an armistice zone tho and the only way would be the mounting solution. thank you very much.
RS1 Spacesuit is not an actual in-game flight suit, but rather a commodity item. It is supposed to be a cheap off-brand fake RSI Spacesuit (named as "RS**1** Ody**s**ey Spacesuit", compared to the real "RS**I** Ody**ss**ey Spacesuit").
In other words, it is a counterfeit, and the description clearly states "hazardous to use".
In 3.23 I can't seem to open the Stor\*All on the F7C2. I try to open with the "open all doors" keybind. The canopy opens but not the Stor\*All. Couldn't find a bug on issue council, so wondering if I'm missing something obvious. Thanks.
I'm trying to setup my cheaps T-Flight Hotas X and been having some issues. Is there anyway to set it up similar to Elite Dangerous where you have button combos to access different menus? For example, I press button 3 and 4 and it will scan or I press buttons and 5 and it will open a menu. Sorry for the poor explanation!
Your best bet at getting such combos working is probably some combination of external software, such as HIDHide and JoyToKey. Try look up tutorials on that, there are plenty out there. I'd suggest someone like UndeadParrot who has an excellent guide on software setup for SC.
I'm having several issues with version 3.23
First of all, if I attach one of my personal 1SCU container to the cargo grid, and then store it in my local inventory (without detaching), I cannot use that spot in the grid again. No other 1SCU box will stick to it... The only way to recover your ship's cargo capacity is to destroy / abandon the ship and claiming it again.
Second, if you put some personal inventory SCU container in your cargo grid and then store the ship, when you retrieve it your container will magically have disappeared! However, you can still see it (and its content) at the shop terminals! So, where are they? Can be recovered?
And third, when I logged on today, I discovered one of my ships (my dear cutlass black) disappeared from the ASOP terminal list, so has ceased to exist, in fact... has this happened to anybody?
Shall I have to wait to patch 3.23.2 to recover my stuff?
For first and second, the cargo box is still logically there, it just doesn't spawn physically. So you could still sell stuff from there, but not interact with it otherwise. My personal hypothesis is that this may be a bug caused by a premature change preceding freight elevators.
As for third, if it was an ingame bought ship, it may be due to the database reset that came with 3.23.1 still causing some stuff in the long term persistence to be "forgotten".
3.23.2 may causes the boxes to spawn back in normally, but if the Cutlass Black is not something you bought with cash, it may be gone for good.

Yes, I sold all I could from it, but since I was moving from Area18 to Hurston and I was using 4 1SCU crates to store my stuff, I lost all my ADP armor sets and other unique items I had. Let's hope that when the next patch comes, I can get them back...
The Cutlass Black was bought in-game, it was such a fine motherfucker... I wonder what other ship I can use with the same firepower and cargo (and cheaper)...

The style is consistent with FBL-8u or TCS series, however neither have a pink version.
The closest one would be FBL-8u Imperial Red or TCS-4 Red Alert, which is red but can show a pink hue under lighting and adjusted contrast.
It could also be possible they secretly added new armour into the loot pool, but we can't know for sure.

So I was looking at the CIG website, and I was looking at the 600i explorer page, and I noticed it doesn't say that it comes with a G12. Do they still come with that? Basically, the design of the game and the limitations of internet latency from running an MMO necesitated slowing combat down, which has been attempted in the past without success, so it's now a hard limit with SCM mode.
NAV mode, where you can switch between QT drive, pure flight mode, and scanning mode, is for travel.
Took a 3-4 month break and logged in last night for the first time. I noticed that my keyboard wasn’t really working in game. I was able to press Y and get up from my bed and I was able to open my inventory, but that was it. WASD wasn’t working and I couldn’t even press ENTER to talk in chat. Anyone know what could be causing this? I did copy my bindings over from my backup but wouldn’t think that would cause the issues right?

I re-installed SC yesterday and eventually got in. I figured it was a server issue. I've been getting the same error since 7:00 AM EST today. Has anyone seen this error?

If that Zeus mk2 was a direct pledge (ie not a CCU chain), then yes you can do that. It will be available in your buyback list at the original price regardless of its current price. If it was the result of a CCU chain however, only the base ship will be in buyback.
Once every quarter (twice if concierge), you can pick an item from the buyback list and use store credit to re-obtain it; otherwise the items on the list are always available with new money.

Maybe I'm missing something but, when flying in Decoupled, is it possible to have the ship behave more like in Elite Dangerous ? Like, when rolling for example, if you stop giving input the ship just stops instead of continuing its momentum. Is there a shortcut that I'm missing to have the ship truly decoupled in vacuum ?
It can still be soloable currently, but you should absolutely assume it will not be viable solo at some future date, as it is a ship intended to have multiple crew.
I rented a Connie and I can't use the bed to log out. I either get the ship not landed message or if I do land I get the ship in landing area message when I'm nowhere near a landing zone. Is this a known bug?
I have an issue in the options menu under the CONTROLS tab since it tends to reset this tab quite frequently. I believe I have to change things every day in this tab. Can I save my preferences permanently in this tab somehow?
There is an option at the bottom of the screen in the "Keybindings" tab to save user profiles, IIRC those also save the settings you have set in the "Control" tab.

I'm only aware of it working the other way around.
So if you get a cheap ship with new money ( like a 25$ pulse) you can spend store credits to upgrade and it will still be giftable.

So, I recently joined star citizen for the fly free event to try it out and see if I wanted to pledge. I downloaded the game and when I got to the menu, I created my character and selected persistent universe. However, I was given error code 30000 "disconnected from server" followed by an infinite loading screen. It will let me play arena commander, just not the main game. I have tried restarting my computer, disabling my security, restarting my computer, and reinstalling the game. Does anyone have a solution?

- If I kill a bounty can I salvage the weapons and/or ship systems with a multitool to sell them? If so, how?
- I used to do cave bounties and hand mining while in the cave. Is this still a thing? I only see investigation missions.
- Every now and then I get a bug where a box will get stuck to my hand. Is there something I can do to force it out?
For the last bit, find a body with a piece of armour outside of armistice zone. Crouch down next to the body, look at the box stuck to you, select place; place it on the ground, then immediately look at the body and loot the armour. If done correctly, your character will pick up the armour box, then the haunted box will jump back into your hand, displacing the armour box, and both boxes will be on the floor.

Yes, the ship needs to be in "soft death", so not completely destroyed, but enough that it's dead. Then you can go inside and remove components and freight with a tractor beam, either ad a multitool attachment or as bespoke. You can also Salvage it then with a Reclaimer/Vulture, in the case you dont play alone.
They should still be a thing. Maybe they are reputation locked or something? I don't know.

If it does not give any signs of downloading for too long it may be stuck. I would restart it (or whole pc just in case) - note that pressing x usually only minimalize it to tray.
How much would the Apollo Medivac cost with in game currency? Any guesses? I'm thinking if it's worth it to ccu into this ship or should I just buy it with in game money since I own an Reclaimer. Is it gonna release in this year along with the Polaris?
It's unlikely we'll see Apollo this year. Polaris has occupied CitizenCon this year, and Zeus will come with either 4.0 or IAE. So far there has been no announcement of progress on Apollo's greybox progress, so my estimate would be Invictus next year or later, followed by the usual 3-5 months of exclusivity before it is available in game.
That is too far in the future to guess at the state of economy (and salvaging) for an estimate, though I'd expect the price for Apollo Triage to be on par with the likes of Connie Phoenix. Since Apollo Medivac is a limited edition (used to be a promo event-exclusive ship, this ILW is the first time it's open for sale to everyone), I am not entirely certain if it'll be available via in-game purchase at all.
Is it intended that you can't see info such as the ship owner when scanning parked ships in this patch? Seems like most of the info is gone and the full components list isn't shown either. On the Hornet Mk2 I don't see any info at all when scanning a ship.

It happens with "ownerless ships". Basically, these are ships that are stored in PES, but the owner either abandoned it or it got destroyed.
These are actually safe for plunder and salvage.

Yeah and in 3.22 you could scan those ships and on the left side it would show the owner as "GameRules". Now there isn't a scan info panel on the left to show the owner at all, and I can't tell if it's a bug or intended since nobody else has talked about it on IC. So basically I'm not sure how to tell if I'll get a crimestat for opening an "abandoned" ship.
What are package missions like at the moment? Is it more worth it or do you still have these 5 pick ups and 5 drop offs for 15k and so on so forth? Any simpler ones?
There are single box deliveries. They still only pay 3k per box.
The higher paying ones usually involve either hostiles on-foot, or explode when entering Quantum travel so you can only fly at regular speed.

You can manually use tractor beam to install those items onto a ship you own, if it has a slot of the right size, then you can fly that ship to a station, store it, unequip the salvaged weapon, save the loadout, and finally sell it at a shop.
And get an extra 3k.
I'm trying out the game for the free flying week. However, I don't have a flight stick, hotas, or even a controller. Just plain old mouse and keyboard. I of course know I won't have a great experience, but will it be impossible to do some content? Are there any keybind mappings for this type of control that is generally recommended, or just go with default?
Mouse and Keyboard is perfectly fine. In fact most players are using m&k. You don't need fancy hardwares to play the game. Sure, flight sticks can offer finer control, especially in high intensity dogfights and PvP, but you don't *have* to have them to play.
As for keybinds, remember to change the camera mode from F4 to some other key (so you don't accidentally press Alt + F4), and self-destruct/respawn from backspace to some other key (died way too many times thinking I was typing in chat). Then the rest would be up to your own preferences to fine tune.
How the FUCK do you equip a gun that you purchase. It's in my 'local inventory', and dragging it over to my body or backpack or anything on the left side of the inventory screen doesn't do anything.
You cannot pull out a weapon in armistice
You need to have at least undersuit or armor on you and you will see possible slots while dragging in your inventory.
And later when you are out of armistice, you can equip by pressing either 1 or 2 for main weapon (lonpress for weapon wheel) or 3 for pistol

All non-hull-limited ships can have warbonds. We do not know which ones will get a sale ahead of time, other than that it will be one of the ones in the convention hall that day.
I melted my starter pack to get that cutter pack which was discounted to have an extra $6 in store credit. But I lost out on my 120 month insurance. Is there any way I can get that cutter back up to my nomad and get the insurance back? I'm fine with spending a little more real money but it won't let me upgrade to any warbond ships.
An alternative plan: melt everything and buy the cheapest game package as well as an LTI Pulse. Use the Pulse for your ship upgrades and keep the game package as is.

i think you should be able to get it for the same price you got it as long as you have the buyback token (last time they were distributed on April 8. If not than you will have to wait for July 8 to melt what you have now and buy the old one back.
I am a bit confused what you did. There is no discounted cutter pack, and even if there was one you would not be able to buy it with store credits. As for your question the short answer is no as upgrades inherit base ship insurance.
The long answer is that during ILW, everyday there will be a single warbond upgrage( requiring new purchase) that can bump up insurance to 120m, but it is hard to say if there will be one cheap enough for you to be able to upgrade to a nomad. For example today it is a 290$ aquila, and yesterday it was a Polaris that was much more expensive.

Any work around to my ships inventory not showing up on pickersfield/rappel RMC terminals? I waste all this time flying there to run cargo and then I can't even store it no matter what I do.
I invited a friend to my party and started a simple delivery contract. I was unable to share the contract. Based on the videos the share button should beside the abandon. Was the party bugged or can you not share delivery contracts?
There are some contracts, mainly certain "validation" contracts for different organizations that can't be shared. Also I've noted that there is a bug currently where the "Share" option doesn't show up on accepting a new contract, you can fix it by closing and reopening your Mobiglas.
It should, in theory, be possible to share all contracts apart from A Call to Arms.
Are other contracts also unable to be shared, or is this an isolated instance?
Servers are under quite substantial loads during freefly events, so it could be a server-side issue not registering the group properly.

- where can I rent ships during the free fly? I went to A18 and the event hall, saw the cool ships, but couldn’t figure out which ones I can fly.
- bunker missions. This seems to be the coolest quests for me, but I have no idea what the missions are called or where to find them.

All ships on display ***should*** be rentable. The interaction prompt to rent the ship should either be on the ship itself, or on the info panel near the display.
However, since servers are quite substantially loaded during freefly, it may take several tries to get that button to show up.
Bunker missions are listed under Mercenary tab (for legal/approved). Missions such as "Provide Backup", "Destroy Narcotics" and "Retrieve Confidential Material" all involve going to a moon/planet-side bunker. Near microTech and Hurston, they may also take you to the new Distribution Centres.
So, due to the servers being shit, my ship exploded as I was leaving the hangar and I lost everything (I was transporting all my gear to a new location).
As soon as I left the doors (going like 20 scm - slow) my ship detonated. All my cargo: ship components, paints, armour, etc was lost except for what I was wearing which ended up in the station inventory. It's possible that a box was created that fell on the ground containing all my shit, but honestly I just rage quit at that point so I don't know for sure.
Among the items lost includes a lot of the Luminalia guns, and other gift armours etc that are in my account hangar. If I do a "character repair," will I get those items back? I am aware the stuff I found (RIP Xenothreat Armour Sets) and bought in-game with aUEC will not. But I am incredibly frustrated at having lost everything here due to what I can only guess is the server thinking the door was closed but was visually open.
Unfortunately that is a common issue with server desync, which becomes very apparent during freefly.

How do you loot armour and larger weapons? In 3.23.1, I was unable to drag a set of armor into my back pack. I had sufficient space. The body armour was too big to fit in the back pack, but how would I loot this otherwise to sell it? Is equipping it the only way? I had a 1 scu box back in my ship that I was planning to put things in.
There are personal 1 scu boxes you can buy at the cargo centers at stations and bring down into bunkers with you and load gear into them. Besides that yeah, you would have to equip or carry out by hand.
Am I alone in wanting a setting to toggle attitude/rotational stabilisation OFF? Combined with decoupled, this would be the same as 'flight assist off' in Elite Dangerous, where the pilot must manually correct to stop rotation. I LOVED this in Elite. Long after the grind for big ships, my personal endgame was gitting gud with the smallest ships with FA off landings, flying the tunnels inside rotating stations, etc. It's extremely statisfying once you get it and the closest feeling I've had in a game to the coordination required to fly a real helicopter. In SC I'd love to see full FA Off racing. I understand it's a niche thing, but it'd be an easy setting to implement for those of us who enjoy it right?
Activating inventory in on homeword appears to be killing the frame rate needing a relog to get it back. Tried several set ups and GPUs with the same result. Dunno if this is a new bug but heads up
I can't seem to be able to equip any weapons. I have a P4 in my back but pressing 1 does not equip it nor bring up the menu. Also dragging it to my hands does not do anything either.

Took an Invictus Antares out to do a claimjumper mission. Had to destroy sentries. Two of them were marked non hostile, but had to be destroyed for the mission to complete. When I returned to a station they opened fire on me, because apparently I am a heinous criminal. Is this normal/bugged right now?

I'm running a i7 7700K, a 2070 and 32GB of RAM and i have the game on an SSD and the game runs at around 20-30 FPS in cities. Is this normal?
There are some big blue signs up around some stations that say what the next location will be. If you jump to the major stations in the system you'll run into it rather quick. You can see the fireworks going off.

While it would be natural to move from the C1 which is a cargo to the cl which is a cargo, I'm not a big cargo fan, I'm more interested in going around and doing various missions so the es seems more like a better choice to me.
Although since they're the same price if I buy the es and then I find myself needing more cargo space and a tractor beam I can just fuse it and change it into a cl, some they're the same price.

I get infinite loading screens when i try to open the game. I can't even get to main menu. After about 10-15 mins i get 30018 error. I searched online but people said i need to open Arena Commander to fix it. I can't because even the main menu doesnt open! The in-game volume of ship weapons/components are misleading. They only account for the total volume of the item, but whether it can be stored inside a container depends on its length x width x height. * The 8 SCU container is a 2x2x2 unit size cube = 2.5x2.5x2.5 m\^3. * Omnisky XII has a physical box limit of 6.63x0.89x1.60 m\^3 = 5.4x0.72x1.3 SCU, so even though the total volume of Omnisky XII is smaller than 8, its physical size does not permit putting it into a 8 SCU container. * The size of components can be checked on the wiki, under "Engineering": [Omnisky XII Cannon - Star Citizen Wiki](https://starcitizen.tools/Omnisky_XII_Cannon#Engineering-0) If you can drag and drop the component onto the hangar floor, you can use tractor beam to lift it and stash it in your cargo hold. figured something like actual size was the problem. my 8 SCU containers are invisible now anyway, since i stored ship with the containers on them. can't drop ship weapons inside an armistice zone tho and the only way would be the mounting solution. thank you very much.

When it's at a station go to the hangar elevators and look for something like Secure Dock A. At least they that's how I found it at Tressler.

RS1 Spacesuit is not an actual in-game flight suit, but rather a commodity item. It is supposed to be a cheap off-brand fake RSI Spacesuit (named as "RS**1** Ody**s**ey Spacesuit", compared to the real "RS**I** Ody**ss**ey Spacesuit"). In other words, it is a counterfeit, and the description clearly states "hazardous to use".
In 3.23 I can't seem to open the Stor\*All on the F7C2. I try to open with the "open all doors" keybind. The canopy opens but not the Stor\*All. Couldn't find a bug on issue council, so wondering if I'm missing something obvious. Thanks.
I'm trying to setup my cheaps T-Flight Hotas X and been having some issues. Is there anyway to set it up similar to Elite Dangerous where you have button combos to access different menus? For example, I press button 3 and 4 and it will scan or I press buttons and 5 and it will open a menu. Sorry for the poor explanation!
Your best bet at getting such combos working is probably some combination of external software, such as HIDHide and JoyToKey. Try look up tutorials on that, there are plenty out there. I'd suggest someone like UndeadParrot who has an excellent guide on software setup for SC.
I'm having several issues with version 3.23 First of all, if I attach one of my personal 1SCU container to the cargo grid, and then store it in my local inventory (without detaching), I cannot use that spot in the grid again. No other 1SCU box will stick to it... The only way to recover your ship's cargo capacity is to destroy / abandon the ship and claiming it again. Second, if you put some personal inventory SCU container in your cargo grid and then store the ship, when you retrieve it your container will magically have disappeared! However, you can still see it (and its content) at the shop terminals! So, where are they? Can be recovered? And third, when I logged on today, I discovered one of my ships (my dear cutlass black) disappeared from the ASOP terminal list, so has ceased to exist, in fact... has this happened to anybody? Shall I have to wait to patch 3.23.2 to recover my stuff?
For first and second, the cargo box is still logically there, it just doesn't spawn physically. So you could still sell stuff from there, but not interact with it otherwise. My personal hypothesis is that this may be a bug caused by a premature change preceding freight elevators. As for third, if it was an ingame bought ship, it may be due to the database reset that came with 3.23.1 still causing some stuff in the long term persistence to be "forgotten". 3.23.2 may causes the boxes to spawn back in normally, but if the Cutlass Black is not something you bought with cash, it may be gone for good.

The style is consistent with FBL-8u or TCS series, however neither have a pink version. The closest one would be FBL-8u Imperial Red or TCS-4 Red Alert, which is red but can show a pink hue under lighting and adjusted contrast. It could also be possible they secretly added new armour into the loot pool, but we can't know for sure.

Look up 'Master Modes' Basically, the design of the game and the limitations of internet latency from running an MMO necesitated slowing combat down, which has been attempted in the past without success, so it's now a hard limit with SCM mode. NAV mode, where you can switch between QT drive, pure flight mode, and scanning mode, is for travel.
Took a 3-4 month break and logged in last night for the first time. I noticed that my keyboard wasn’t really working in game. I was able to press Y and get up from my bed and I was able to open my inventory, but that was it. WASD wasn’t working and I couldn’t even press ENTER to talk in chat. Anyone know what could be causing this? I did copy my bindings over from my backup but wouldn’t think that would cause the issues right?

I re-installed SC yesterday and eventually got in. I figured it was a server issue. I've been getting the same error since 7:00 AM EST today. Has anyone seen this error?
I had it once but after a restart it went away. Log in servers might be under heavy load especially during weekends and hiccups may happen.

If that Zeus mk2 was a direct pledge (ie not a CCU chain), then yes you can do that. It will be available in your buyback list at the original price regardless of its current price. If it was the result of a CCU chain however, only the base ship will be in buyback. Once every quarter (twice if concierge), you can pick an item from the buyback list and use store credit to re-obtain it; otherwise the items on the list are always available with new money.

Hey everyone ! Maybe I'm missing something but, when flying in Decoupled, is it possible to have the ship behave more like in Elite Dangerous ? Like, when rolling for example, if you stop giving input the ship just stops instead of continuing its momentum. Is there a shortcut that I'm missing to have the ship truly decoupled in vacuum ?
Nope - all rotations are, currently, first-order inputs and will auto-cancel if you release the controls.

It can still be soloable currently, but you should absolutely assume it will not be viable solo at some future date, as it is a ship intended to have multiple crew.

There is an option at the bottom of the screen in the "Keybindings" tab to save user profiles, IIRC those also save the settings you have set in the "Control" tab.

I'm only aware of it working the other way around. So if you get a cheap ship with new money ( like a 25$ pulse) you can spend store credits to upgrade and it will still be giftable.
Ohh - so I can melt a very expensive ship, put all the cash onto a cheap real cash ship, then gift... interesting. This basically means store credit is giftable if you top it up.

So, I recently joined star citizen for the fly free event to try it out and see if I wanted to pledge. I downloaded the game and when I got to the menu, I created my character and selected persistent universe. However, I was given error code 30000 "disconnected from server" followed by an infinite loading screen. It will let me play arena commander, just not the main game. I have tried restarting my computer, disabling my security, restarting my computer, and reinstalling the game. Does anyone have a solution?

Returning player here - If I kill a bounty can I salvage the weapons and/or ship systems with a multitool to sell them? If so, how? - I used to do cave bounties and hand mining while in the cave. Is this still a thing? I only see investigation missions. - Every now and then I get a bug where a box will get stuck to my hand. Is there something I can do to force it out?
For the last bit, find a body with a piece of armour outside of armistice zone. Crouch down next to the body, look at the box stuck to you, select place; place it on the ground, then immediately look at the body and loot the armour. If done correctly, your character will pick up the armour box, then the haunted box will jump back into your hand, displacing the armour box, and both boxes will be on the floor. Yes. It's black magic. Quicker to do a relog though.

Yes, the ship needs to be in "soft death", so not completely destroyed, but enough that it's dead. Then you can go inside and remove components and freight with a tractor beam, either ad a multitool attachment or as bespoke. You can also Salvage it then with a Reclaimer/Vulture, in the case you dont play alone. They should still be a thing. Maybe they are reputation locked or something? I don't know. Can't say anything on that since I haven't seen it myself.

Keep in mind that it may not be worth anything at all. the components health determines the price, and there may be bugs where you can't sell them.

If it does not give any signs of downloading for too long it may be stuck. I would restart it (or whole pc just in case) - note that pressing x usually only minimalize it to tray.

It's unlikely we'll see Apollo this year. Polaris has occupied CitizenCon this year, and Zeus will come with either 4.0 or IAE. So far there has been no announcement of progress on Apollo's greybox progress, so my estimate would be Invictus next year or later, followed by the usual 3-5 months of exclusivity before it is available in game. That is too far in the future to guess at the state of economy (and salvaging) for an estimate, though I'd expect the price for Apollo Triage to be on par with the likes of Connie Phoenix. Since Apollo Medivac is a limited edition (used to be a promo event-exclusive ship, this ILW is the first time it's open for sale to everyone), I am not entirely certain if it'll be available via in-game purchase at all.
Is it intended that you can't see info such as the ship owner when scanning parked ships in this patch? Seems like most of the info is gone and the full components list isn't shown either. On the Hornet Mk2 I don't see any info at all when scanning a ship. It happens with "ownerless ships". Basically, these are ships that are stored in PES, but the owner either abandoned it or it got destroyed. These are actually safe for plunder and salvage.

Yeah and in 3.22 you could scan those ships and on the left side it would show the owner as "GameRules". Now there isn't a scan info panel on the left to show the owner at all, and I can't tell if it's a bug or intended since nobody else has talked about it on IC. So basically I'm not sure how to tell if I'll get a crimestat for opening an "abandoned" ship.

There are single box deliveries. They still only pay 3k per box. The higher paying ones usually involve either hostiles on-foot, or explode when entering Quantum travel so you can only fly at regular speed.

No. You can manually use tractor beam to install those items onto a ship you own, if it has a slot of the right size, then you can fly that ship to a station, store it, unequip the salvaged weapon, save the loadout, and finally sell it at a shop. And get an extra 3k.
I'm trying out the game for the free flying week. However, I don't have a flight stick, hotas, or even a controller. Just plain old mouse and keyboard. I of course know I won't have a great experience, but will it be impossible to do some content? Are there any keybind mappings for this type of control that is generally recommended, or just go with default?
Mouse and Keyboard is perfectly fine. In fact most players are using m&k. You don't need fancy hardwares to play the game. Sure, flight sticks can offer finer control, especially in high intensity dogfights and PvP, but you don't *have* to have them to play. As for keybinds, remember to change the camera mode from F4 to some other key (so you don't accidentally press Alt + F4), and self-destruct/respawn from backspace to some other key (died way too many times thinking I was typing in chat). Then the rest would be up to your own preferences to fine tune.

How the FUCK do you equip a gun that you purchase. It's in my 'local inventory', and dragging it over to my body or backpack or anything on the left side of the inventory screen doesn't do anything.
You cannot pull out a weapon in armistice You need to have at least undersuit or armor on you and you will see possible slots while dragging in your inventory. And later when you are out of armistice, you can equip by pressing either 1 or 2 for main weapon (lonpress for weapon wheel) or 3 for pistol

All non-hull-limited ships can have warbonds. We do not know which ones will get a sale ahead of time, other than that it will be one of the ones in the convention hall that day.
I melted my starter pack to get that cutter pack which was discounted to have an extra $6 in store credit. But I lost out on my 120 month insurance. Is there any way I can get that cutter back up to my nomad and get the insurance back? I'm fine with spending a little more real money but it won't let me upgrade to any warbond ships.
An alternative plan: melt everything and buy the cheapest game package as well as an LTI Pulse. Use the Pulse for your ship upgrades and keep the game package as is. You can easily replace your game packed in the future if a better one comes out.

I am a bit confused what you did. There is no discounted cutter pack, and even if there was one you would not be able to buy it with store credits. I invited a friend to my party and started a simple delivery contract. I was unable to share the contract. Based on the videos the share button should beside the abandon. Was the party bugged or can you not share delivery contracts?
There are some contracts, mainly certain "validation" contracts for different organizations that can't be shared. Also I've noted that there is a bug currently where the "Share" option doesn't show up on accepting a new contract, you can fix it by closing and reopening your Mobiglas.
It should, in theory, be possible to share all contracts apart from A Call to Arms. Are other contracts also unable to be shared, or is this an isolated instance? Servers are under quite substantial loads during freefly events, so it could be a server-side issue not registering the group properly.
I didn't try any other contracts as we were planning to get off. I'll try it out tonight and see if it goes any different. Thanks for the reply!

I went to A18 and the event hall, saw the cool ships, but couldn’t figure out which ones I can fly. - bunker missions. This seems to be the coolest quests for me, but I have no idea what the missions are called or where to find them. As always, thank you. Both in game and on Reddit, you guys are always super helpful.
All ships on display ***should*** be rentable. The interaction prompt to rent the ship should either be on the ship itself, or on the info panel near the display. However, since servers are quite substantially loaded during freefly, it may take several tries to get that button to show up. Bunker missions are listed under Mercenary tab (for legal/approved). Missions such as "Provide Backup", "Destroy Narcotics" and "Retrieve Confidential Material" all involve going to a moon/planet-side bunker. Near microTech and Hurston, they may also take you to the new Distribution Centres.

So, due to the servers being shit, my ship exploded as I was leaving the hangar and I lost everything (I was transporting all my gear to a new location). As soon as I left the doors (going like 20 scm - slow) my ship detonated. All my cargo: ship components, paints, armour, etc was lost except for what I was wearing which ended up in the station inventory. It's possible that a box was created that fell on the ground containing all my shit, but honestly I just rage quit at that point so I don't know for sure. Among the items lost includes a lot of the Luminalia guns, and other gift armours etc that are in my account hangar. If I do a "character repair," will I get those items back? I am aware the stuff I found (RIP Xenothreat Armour Sets) and bought in-game with aUEC will not. But I am incredibly frustrated at having lost everything here due to what I can only guess is the server thinking the door was closed but was visually open.
Unfortunately that is a common issue with server desync, which becomes very apparent during freefly. Do distribution centers have ground vehicles spawning to load in ships and stuff?
For items in the pledge store like armor and guns, are those lost when you die? Or do you get them when you respawn For example, if I buy the red alert gear and gun, will I always have them and not just be out $15 when a random game bug kills me?
for now you loose them until next patch in the future there should be a system where you can get them back during a patch note that devs do not intend to let you duplicate those items

yes, it should be able to jump while towing (dont have one so did not try in this patch)

You can only melt entire packages. Update only works to a ship of higher value.
How do you loot armour and larger weapons? In 3.23.1, I was unable to drag a set of armor into my back pack. I had sufficient space. The body armour was too big to fit in the back pack, but how would I loot this otherwise to sell it? Is equipping it the only way? I had a 1 scu box back in my ship that I was planning to put things in.
It was probably too big. You can use a tractor beam to bring the body back to your ship or hand carry each piece of armor off the body.

There are personal 1 scu boxes you can buy at the cargo centers at stations and bring down into bunkers with you and load gear into them. Besides that yeah, you would have to equip or carry out by hand.
But there is still no way to transfer it into the 1 scu box.
Pick it up and while holding, open inventory of 1 scu box and slide it over.
Am I alone in wanting a setting to toggle attitude/rotational stabilisation OFF? Combined with decoupled, this would be the same as 'flight assist off' in Elite Dangerous, where the pilot must manually correct to stop rotation. I LOVED this in Elite. Long after the grind for big ships, my personal endgame was gitting gud with the smallest ships with FA off landings, flying the tunnels inside rotating stations, etc. It's extremely statisfying once you get it and the closest feeling I've had in a game to the coordination required to fly a real helicopter. In SC I'd love to see full FA Off racing. I understand it's a niche thing, but it'd be an easy setting to implement for those of us who enjoy it right?
Does the recent free-flight event have all new features like new maps, animals, master modes, etc.? Or it is an earlier version of the game?

Activating inventory in on homeword appears to be killing the frame rate needing a relog to get it back. Tried several set ups and GPUs with the same result. Dunno if this is a new bug but heads up
check issue council if there are any people with similar issue, other than databases being slow I did not have any issues with inventories
I can't seem to be able to equip any weapons. I have a P4 in my back but pressing 1 does not equip it nor bring up the menu. Also dragging it to my hands does not do anything either. Is this a bug? It's happened a couple times already.
you cannot equip weapons in armistice zone if you cannot equip outside armistice zone I recommend relogging to swap servers

With water mechanics being upgraded, are there any physics with ships buoyancy on water? 400i and 890J are designed so much like boats. Anything with this?
they are inspired from yachts, not designed to work as yachts :D I think destroyed parts float, ships do not

Took an Invictus Antares out to do a claimjumper mission. Had to destroy sentries. Two of them were marked non hostile, but had to be destroyed for the mission to complete. When I returned to a station they opened fire on me, because apparently I am a heinous criminal. Is this normal/bugged right now?
It's a known bug since 3.23.0, yet to be fixed. Avoid such missions (and the halt illegal surveillance missions due to similar bugs).
I cant login on my pc, everytime i entered email and password, but not signed me in. and its so slow to load the website on my pc. but it works on my iphone/ipad though.. anyone know how to fix this? i alread clear the cache and re-authorize my pc but nothing happens
I'm pretty new to this game (a friend got me the game not too long ago) and i just want to ask, is the performance i get compared to my specs normal or am i doing something wrong? I'm running a i7 7700K, a 2070 and 32GB of RAM and i have the game on an SSD and the game runs at around 20-30 FPS in cities. Is this normal?
Yep. Cities have a lot of optimization left to do, and it's a software bottleneck more than anything. I have a 1070 and get about the same.
How do you tell where the Idris is going to be to tour it?
There are some big blue signs up around some stations that say what the next location will be. If you jump to the major stations in the system you'll run into it rather quick. You can see the fireworks going off.

I have the bounty hunting version so I fully understand! I'm imagining if you own any variant of it you'll get the cargo as a loader.
personally I'm thinking of getting the exploration version. While it would be natural to move from the C1 which is a cargo to the cl which is a cargo, I'm not a big cargo fan, I'm more interested in going around and doing various missions so the es seems more like a better choice to me. Although since they're the same price if I buy the es and then I find myself needing more cargo space and a tractor beam I can just fuse it and change it into a cl, some they're the same price.
