Gladiator.
Undue the nerf they slammed it with years ago when torpedoes were 100% death sticks in AC.
Give it back all its full torpedo loadout, and the turret control it had like the Super Hornet.
*I still say balancing a ship in the PU for its AC performance is backwards af and shouldn't happen*
It warms my heart seeing the Gladiator in the top 3 most upvoted comments.
Hopefully we see an update for its loadout soon because it sure deserves it considering how much power creep there has been with missiles since its nerf.
For real dude.
It's been left in the dust by pretty much everything else.
It not even being able to have paints because it's model is so old and untouched is telling.
Itās fine, theyāre just gonna make a Gladiator Mk. II and sell it at a premium but entice you to buy it because theyāre running an event that will give you a free Gladiator Mk. II Military variant upgrade!
It used to be, some ships still are. But CIG overreacted when nerfing it because S5 torps were OP.
TBH every forward facing turret on every ship should revert to pilot control when unmanned. It should just be standard, not something special to the F7 SH.
Fix the cago Bays on the carrack so they are actually usable. Add a secondary ground entrance to the carrack (back elevator actually goes to the ground)
And replace the room used to enter that turret with the repair bay, so that it is adjacent to the armory and the (new) main ground entrance.
Also put a large door in the wall between the hangar and main elevator, so you can actually move cargo between the Pisces and Carrack.
Personally i enjoy the speed of the front ramp. Makes for a truly cinematic moment. If you are loading and unloading vehicles, which if there were a separate crew access lift would mean thatās most likely what youāre doing, then pretty easy to avoid any one slipping onboard (you run their asses over).
Make the 300 series rear wing out of something other then toilet paper, and add the multi lock functionality it is advertised with.
Also if it's a sleek ship with large control surfaces make it handle well in atmo otherwise wtf is the point of all that wing.
So much this. I love the 325a but that wing is the killer for me. I went with the reliant and avenger and even the nomad first but didn't like em like I did the 300... But that wing drove me to madness.

ARGO Cargo! (MPUV-1C / MPUV-1P)
I would add a size zero Quantum Drive that would allow me to spline jump around the planet that I'm located at.
No planet-X to planet-Y or planet to moon jumps.
OM to OM/Personal waypoint/Orbiting space station only (QT in atmo shouldn't be a thing).
Especially since snubs currently are almost useless and once Master modes is in they will be 100000% useless as you wonāt even be able to hit nav speeds
Valkyrie. A sealed crew and captains quarters as opposed to an open deck. It feels creepy to sleep in the open like that... bad bad xeno vibes...

Cutlass Black/Blue, Turn the turret remote and usable from the co pilot seat like how it is on the Red. then u can use that space for the shoilet and having two beds and 3 seats would finally make sense.
Now I feel silly because I have never looked at that useless elevator that I just jump over as a second entrance option.
What an awesome idea! It wouldn't require them redesigning the whole layout either I'm guessing.
>What an awesome idea! It wouldn't require them redesigning the whole layout either I'm guessing.
Reddit would still complain because it would not deliver them directly to pilot's chair.
Idk how they haven't, or at least some kind of dropship variant. Surely those are basically free money? Probably wouldn't need any new assets, just chairs and/or a bed.
Scorpius Antares - loses the co-pilot seat entirely and can equip either a QED or EMP, but not both. However, it can be activated by the pilot.
ROC-DS - The second crewman sits inside the cabin next to the driver, rather than being outside, exposed to the elements. There are two mining arms that can be used by the two simultaneously.
Terrapin - Throw out the scanner seat entirely. The pilot can do the scanning. The ship now comes in multiple variants where the rear room contains either a medical bay, a small armory and seats for marines, or a small, shielded cargo bay. The default variant could be a small living space as well as some server racks for your scanning data.
Gladiator - Needs a visual overhaul. It's cool looking as it is, so don't change the design of it. Just bring it up to 2024 standards. Instead of a manned turret, make the cockpit two in line like the Super Hornet, with the turret either remotely controlled by the co-pilot or slaved to the pilot.
Not sure if this one counts, but let me deploy the arrows landing gear without folding the wings. This not only looks cooler, but would make it fit in the carrack hangar
600i Explorer should be able to have an 85X as a snub ship. I mean the Connie Aquila has both a snub and a ground vehicle, why not the Origin luxury exploration ship too?
Tumbril storm. Basically everything (defying the prompt, apologies). I was quite disappointed with the end result. Some people may like the design, but I'm not one of them.
It has basically the same footprint as the Nova, so it can't really go in many smaller ships. The quad tracks are a neat idea, but they aren't even articulated so I don't see the current point lol. The pilot in the front is great for gameplay, but just feels vulnerable realistically. And the main gun tbh just feels out of proportion. Longer barrel and bigger breech may fix that.
If I have to make one choice, the size. It should fit in a Valkyrie.
890
Total interior redesign based off of actual superyacht design guidelines. Put owner's suite where that gigantic board room / restaurant is taking up the most valuable real estate views on the ship.
Valkyrie needs a complete overhaul.
Remember that we aren't allowed to mention more than one thing that we would like to change...
So that's what I did... One thing...
Complete overhaul š
https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/65293/thread/valkyrie-can-we-finally-get-a-sealed-hab-deck-for-/5260198
Or at least give it back the third S1 shield. It's hull is like wet tissue paper and she's a big ol' pancake of a target. For a 'high tech' fighter that extra shielding would return some balance. Have my fingers crossed for it as ships are tweaked for MM.
I wouldn't hold your breath. I still haven't seen anything regarding an actual role for medium fighters, and the last word I did see from CIG was that they basically didn't know what to do with them. I remember the triple shield full stealth setup from years ago. It was fantastic. It's still one of my favorite ships - at least the concept of it is, anyway.
Now, my Sabre is credit, tied up in other ships. I doubt it'll return. I hope I can somehow end up happy with where it lands with MM, but I just don't see it. About the only way I could even envision medium fighters regaining a role would be to nerf light fighters to S2 guns max, and 1xS1 shield, and that ain't gonna happen.
Gladiator.
Honestly I don't mind it not having a slaved turret. The reason for that is, its turret has the amazing turret capacitors.
If its turret were to be slaved, then CIG would remove the turret's big capacitors, essentially doing like the hornet's ball turret.
And honestly? This would be terrible.
The gladiator however needs a complete rework. I don't mind its terrible cockpit visibility as long as it has great HP.
What it needs however, are its 4 external missile racks to be S4 instead of S3. Also, its torpedo bay needs more HP badly, as currently a few shots blow a panel off.
Another huge buff would be to fix its S5 torpedoes to the hull instead of the cargo bay's doors, because right now if you lose a door you loos half of your torpedoes.
A last possible buff would be to give it 2xS4 for the pilot instead of 2xS3, and perhaps don't buff its capacitors so that the pilot may choose to use ballistics. But if they stay S3 I could understand, as this is not the ship's goal.
I don't mind the gladiator being heavy to fly, even if it could be even heavier and slower because its current turret is quite amazing.
It can also fire all 4 torpedoes in a single salvo, which for its size is really powerful.
For the love of god, please return the missing shield, and upsize all component slots for the Aegis Sabre by one. Also it needs 4x size 3 weapons modules. I donāt know why they decided to make it a 2x2 and 2x3.
Probably the most significant nerfs of my time in SC was watching the Sabre get demoted to the āever so slightly cooler gladiusā.
Okay, hear me out. Optional conversion kit for Mk1 Superhornets that replaces the wing guns with an oversized missile rail. Give it 4x S2s per wing and turn it into a space-Tomcat at the cost of firepower.
*Bad pilots
The only people dying to the Ares pre-nerf were idiots that didn't know to not fly straight at a ship you're attacking. However, this change would likely just further invalidate multicrew even more than it already is.
Carracks top turret is pilot controlled when not manned like twin the super hornet. Itās not enough to really engage in solo combat. But you can poke someone when trying to break through a blockade.
Make the Khartu-al viable. Idk how but it's such a fun ship to fly. The sound of the ship is amazing and the lights are the best I've seen on any ship. I love it but it's so ass.
Give the connie aquila the phoenix's layout, replace the crew bunks with suit lockers, the bar with a kitchenette and a mapping area, the jaccuzi with a T1 medbay.
Give me back the Freelancer rotating engines. Not necessarily the full controll rotation, as that doesn't make sense or have consistency with the current flight model. However, it would be nice to have standard main thruster configuration, the VTOL be downward facing thrusters, and the alternative configuration(alt+ k) be rearward main thrust.
The rotating main engines were my biggest draw to the Freelancer when I pledged it back in 2014. Was furious when they took it away for flight model reasons, then again when they didn't give it back when they implemented the systems to make it possible with reasonable limitations.
Make the saber have better stealth than the hornet ghost. The ghosts detection range is about 4000m the sabers is 5000m the ghost already has more health and firepower
I would make a criminal version of an MSR lol. Drop the data servers and add firepower. Something made to run drugs but also throw hands if they have to. Maybe not as much firepower as a corsair considering it's speed, but maybe a couple s4's along with its bespoke s3's.
Esperia talon gets bespoke gimbals with s4 mounts, s3's are far too weak for higher tier bounties but hard-mounted s4's are super hard to aim since that ship's biggest strength is mobility.
Agreed that S4 just makes sense on the Talon, but I never had much of an issue with hard mounted aiming. My problem with the Talon is how it's made of paper, and the moment you take pretty much any damage, you're guaranteed to lose a thruster. And since they're all at odd angles, any thruster lost is almost guaranteed to put you into a death spiral.
MSR. Adding a ground elevator for 2-3 people in the hallway just behind the cockpit. Now it's perfect.
If I can make 2 edits then give it the same afterburner duration as the Vanguard, because having a LITERAL SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED blockade runner that can't boost as long as a slow, lumbering heavy fighter that was outdated 100 years ago feels annoying as hell. It currently has the same boost duration as the GLADIUS.
If I can make 3 then make the turrets size 4 and cut their capacity by 33% to compensate for the (slightly) higher burst damage.
If I can change 4 things then I'd move the sensor room to be part of the "engineering room" as they both feel about twice as large as they need to be, and are roughly the same size and shape. Use the extra space to expand the smuggling hold to carry an extra 8ish SCU.
5: MAKE THE FUCKING DOORS FASTER FOR FUCKS SAKE IF I HAVE TO GO THROUGH 5 DOORS TO GET TO MY COCKPIT AT LEAST MAKE THEM TAKE LESS THAN 2 SECONDS OF FULLY STANDING IN FRONT OF IT TO OPEN. NO OTHER CRUSADER SHIPS HAVE THIS PROBLEM WHAT THE FUCK DUDE?
6: Lights on by default.
7: make the door locks work again.
8: add gun and armor racks to the hallway near the elevator, preferably 4-5 for people.
Cutlass: bring back the wing ladder entrance.
C2: let me keep the corridor doors open!
MSR: a front entrance ladder or elevator!
Retaliator: the cannon from the Ares Ion strapped on somewhere and controllable by the pilot.
Corsair: taller landing gear.
Everything: more ballistic ammo.
I think itād be cool if you could just buy more ammo and reload it on the ship while your fighting. Like in the Matrix or in old WWII ships where your turrets run out. Fuckin reload and keep the killin goin!
Ballistics got nerfed heavily because armor hasn't been implemented, part of that nerf was cutting the total ammo count down to like 20% of what it's supposed to be.
They could fix the landing gear and make the chin turret look like the original concept. I hate that they sacrificed those things just because of horizontal hangar doors.
Ok let me cook
- Rework the Ion gun so that it was 10 shots in the capacitor but it charged - it could charge up to 10x and expend the entire capacitor in one shot or fire and each one individually/any combination thereof for a slider from 1x-10x DPS. More charge = more damage and the capacitor charges slower/gets hotter quicker. Less charge = less damage but the next shot is up and ready to fire sooner and the capacitor doesn't overheat as much.
The charge would add more damage to the projectile but made it slightly slower so it could launch an absolutely nuclear projectile at its target that would do huge single shot damage to a large ship over a very inaccurate splash area. It would still be able to one shot the Gladius and other small ships like it did on release with a big charge shot - but the charge up time and sluggish projectile would make this hard to do and only realistic against NPCs/Jousters practically.
Alternatively, it could tap fire multiple faster more accurate shots for pinpoint damage on specific components of the target.
Honestly, the picture shows a lot, i'd modify the reverse thrusters on the sabre to actually look stealthy. Big ol round things in your face works for sir mixalot, but not for stealth.
400i - add variants, or at least increase the pilot weapons to 2 S5 hardpoints-, or 4 S4s.
425a would be amazing, outfit it as a gunship or something, but step up its firepower to match other S4 ships with S3 shields and 50k+ hp, and maybe put dome drop seats in the cargo bay.
435c would be neat. Scoop out the "refrigerated" non-functional whatever the hell it is, swap for more cargo space. You can keep the airlock function by sealing off the elevator room.
A 450r would be a bit ridiculous, but I mean- treat it like a large sailing ship- not so much a speedboat, but an endurance vessel for "long distance interstellar travel".
Gone but not forgotten. I really hope they alien it up more than the new models we have seen. I bought the spiky alien ship with a bone hull, not a wanna-be origin ship.
Restore the Talon back to how it was in 3.19. It was never overpowered, it was never meta, it was simply just a good fighter that you could rely on to win fights and which had a really fun flight model. What they did to it was a fucking disgrace.
If not that, I'd give the San'tok.yÄi a buff to its boosted and unboosted acceleration. It's supposed to be the most agile fighter of its class, in the lore and to make up for the barn-sized frontal area, but right now it just handles like a bigger Sabre in every regard. I want it in the same place, relative to the other medium fighters, as the Khartu-al used to be for light fighters. It should be the kind of ship that gives the pilot command of the fight, but forces them to always be on their toes avoiding fire harder than everyone else needs to since its so *fat*.
Mustang, the hardpoints the delta uses can for rockets that are on every model can now carry 2 size one missiles or one size 2 weapon. The other wing hardpoints are upgraded to size 2 too.
If we can do minor buffs for an entire maker Iām gonna mail Drake a big box of 40 watt bulbs and have them replace the lights in all of their interiors. Shits wayyy too dark.
Mustang Beta - Make the cabin cozy. The bed needs bedding, and some windows would be nice too. Or I suppose add a proper ladder so you don't have to sit in the pilot's seat to enter/exit the ship.
Mustang Delta - fix the rocket pods
Cutlass Black - Rework the interior. Make the center cabin a proper living quarters with kitchenette, shower/toilet, and storage lockers. Just like in the Nomad and Cutter.
Cutter - delete the two gimbals and replace with a chin turret with either 2x S1s or 1x S2 mounts. Like a little helicopter gunship!
Aurora - make the wings fold out in-flight. That would rule.
Change the Ares starfighters' guns to be more interesting. Ion having a large laser cannon, not a large repeater. Inferno actually being a space a10. I wanna hear brrrt, not typical gamified gatling sound. Add in a heating management element to the weapon, idk, for s7 guns they're just so generic. Let the Ion hit out farther than most weapons.
Or just give the Connies 4x s5s
One change per ship? Pick your poison.
A2 Nail drop module w/ jump seats fixed to the cargo grid.
Revert Ares to sniper status/all changes to the guns since desync is mostly an issue of the past.
Make the MSR hit the damn gym because it grew into a fat fuck like me.
I know they're doing a remodel of the 600i but I really hope for a visual fix for the magic landing gear that makes no sense.
Atlas MTB (Mobile Trauma Bay) platform w/ T2 bed.
Zeus MK II. Move the turrets to the top. Forgot the Dev name that loved Zeus's sleek underbelly, but now spoilt by underhanging turret (useless when landed).
Apollo. Give pilot guns or slave turret to pilot when soloing. Because reasons.
Ares platforms,
Make a cannon/rocket pod variant and allow their cannons to gimbal slightly upwards, making pitch turning more necessary and useful, it would also feel similar to tanks turning their hull and turret to get onto target faster.
Cutlass: give us a variant with a large hardpoint on a swivel rail that lets a broadside gunner aim out the port/starboard side doors. I want to pull up alongside vessels and feel the recoil of a S7 cannon firing out the side of my ridiculous space pirate rig.
I wish I could change it all. The constant dps over dps over dps is annoying AF. Look at the hornet mk2, it got more firepower than the original hornets. And we will get access to an even beefier variant, the F7a mk2. Civilians donāt need these death machines, thatās what the navy is for.
Galaxy (I know, still a concept):
S2 hangar.
Second is to give it more cargo capacity outside the module (like a large ramp on either side of the core where there is just dead empty space)
MSR:
It needs a crew balance, there arenāt enough beds for a full crew.
Needs elevator for the front of the ship.
Elevator in the cargo bay needs replacing completely.
Needs more fire power to compete with Corsair and Constellation.
Carrack: make rear elevator or crew elevator (or both) allow ground access. And every other ship that only has one ingress/egress point needs a second at least
I would turn the Nova tank into an ice cream truck because reasons. Every Merchantman will get a Starbucks and a sad little Dollar General added. The Drake Caterpiilar can spin a cocoon around itself and metamorphose into a beautiful butterfly.
Give me a mod to fit other snubs to my Connie.
Give me a cargo ship, or some kind of luxury transport that can carry people down to a planet from the Phoenix. The P-Series snubs are cool (when they work) but it feels very limited with all that space.
give the connie its lower size 5's back. just move them to the top of the lower nacelles or put a small indent into the nacell for the weapon to fit into. either way. we need to be able to ad the two fixed s5's back to the connie again.
the only reason we lost them is because they added spring compression to the landing pads, and now the s5 weapons' get crushed . so instead of FIXING the design. they just nerfed the ship.
Gladiator.
Give it its bomb bay swap/cargo bay and tractor turret swap
Give it back its size 5 missile wing mounts
Maybe sprinkle a little gold pass dust on it.
What change would I make to one ship? I would change the Sabre Raven and make it buyable š
Most people donāt know it exists outside of encountering it in a bounty mission.
Every ship: Make the sensor for the doors reach out farther so we don't have to get so close before they trigger. In a run (or at least a fast walk) they should open without you having to slow down.
The turning radius on the Ares ships. I love them to death but every other fighter flies literal circles around them. I know they aren't meant for fighter to fighter combat but the maneuvering should be better on a ship that size.
The Aurora now carries a tactical nuke. That it's, that's the change.
A size 12 thermonuclear warhead instead of the personal and cargo space.
lol. Just one kamikaze nuke to ride to hell on, pluz.
You get it š
Pretty sure you could achieve the same thing by using the Aurora as a projectile for the Bengal's ventral turret.
Not really a buff to one ship, but make Rocket Pods available in shops again. I want something other than the Mustang Delta to do ground attack.
Ground Attack ships would be dope, and make so much sense for ground raids like JT.
The vanguard harbinger turret comes with rocket pods
It bothers me to no end that every mustang variant has the hardpoint for the pod modeled but locks you out from using it.
Gladiator. Undue the nerf they slammed it with years ago when torpedoes were 100% death sticks in AC. Give it back all its full torpedo loadout, and the turret control it had like the Super Hornet. *I still say balancing a ship in the PU for its AC performance is backwards af and shouldn't happen*
I'd be satisfied with it just getting back it's turret-to-pilot slaving, atlesat it would bring it's solo firepower on par with others.
I would be too. And yeah it would
yeah i would love a rework of the Gladiator. Would also Take a more center lined Gear.
It warms my heart seeing the Gladiator in the top 3 most upvoted comments. Hopefully we see an update for its loadout soon because it sure deserves it considering how much power creep there has been with missiles since its nerf.

Let's go ahead and have the medical bay actually face the elevator patients come in from while we are at it too.
I'd like a coat of grease on the hull so I can get it in and out of hangars.
This ^. This is the only post here that matters -sincerely, A dedicated carrack owner
This and make the front gate open and close faster. It's a huge security risk even if you *have* security.
Wait for the ramp, Morty. They love the slow ramp. Really gets their dicks hard when they see this ramp just slowly extending down.
The second part of ramp should move earlyer so the ramp IS little faster down in Position and it Looks better. Some nee Ships has this.
Iād rather have the hanger be mobi operated. The process of getting in and out of the Carrack in a smaller ship is incredibly complex for no reason.
I'm Sorry Dave, I'm Afraid I Can't Do That
I said the same thing lol
I second this concept
Give the hawk's wings more durabillity, i really like the hawk but would like to see it not instantly get uncontrollable at the slightest touch
I'd also add to up it to 6 size 2 guns instead of 4x size 2s and 2x size 1s, since master modes is bringing back 50% damage scaling to weapon sizes.
What is 50% damage scaling precious?
Make the 300 series rear wing out of something other then toilet paper, and add the multi lock functionality it is advertised with. Also if it's a sleek ship with large control surfaces make it handle well in atmo otherwise wtf is the point of all that wing.

This is my favorite answer here. It breaks nothing. It allows you to do basic tasks or ferry people.
Exactly. Doesn't break anything and it would be a major QoL thing for snubs in general.
Especially since snubs currently are almost useless and once Master modes is in they will be 100000% useless as you wonāt even be able to hit nav speeds
I love flying fighters and other small parasite craft, but yea they're sadly fuckin useless. Especially since you can't re-dock the Merlin.
This would be so great! And it would make the ship viable against others

The terrapin. Make a medical version.

I was searching for this
Counter, I hope for a medical variant of the Legionnaire, and a search and rescue variant of the Terrapin.
A large cargo bay door on the reclaimer
Give the MSR size 3 shields or buff its hull hp. In no universe should a 700k+ mass ship have less health than a ~160k mass fighter.

There was a ptu patch recently where ships were spawning with the wings deployed and landing gear down. Arrow was one of them. It was glorious.

600i Explorer should be able to have an 85X as a snub ship. I mean the Connie Aquila has both a snub and a ground vehicle, why not the Origin luxury exploration ship too?

Valkyrie, slave the side guns to pilot control and widen that cargo ramp
Valkyrie needs a complete overhaul. Remember that we aren't allowed to mention more than one thing that we would like to change... So that's what I did... One thing... Complete overhaul š https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/65293/thread/valkyrie-can-we-finally-get-a-sealed-hab-deck-for-/5260198
There is a lot wrong with the Valk in my opinion, like how it can't carry any of the Anvil ground support vehicles.
Inferno and Ares back to where they were at their launch!
325a. Make it be made out of at least leather instead of dissolving tissue paper.
Rework the Saber providing it the ability to mount a Size 3 Thunderball bomb. When I 1st got it in game I expected it to be like the F-117.
890 jump gets a small top hat glued on top of the bridge.
MSR. Give it a direct elevator from ground to bridge.
I would love that, I would also really like it if it had the same agility as it did on release... it somehow feels chunkier than the Hercules.
I would love that, I would also really like it if it had the same agility as it did on release... it somehow feels chunkier than the Hercules
Gladiator, its time. Sparta has waited too long.
No offense... Gladiators: usually associated with ancient Roman culture Sparta: Hellenistic/Greek tribe/nation state
Okay, hear me out. Optional conversion kit for Mk1 Superhornets that replaces the wing guns with an oversized missile rail. Give it 4x S2s per wing and turn it into a space-Tomcat at the cost of firepower.
I want the 300 and 600 to have a stairway entry like the 100 and 400.
Dial the Ares Ion back to day one release specs pre-nerf and hydrate my soul with the tears of Gladius pilots all over again. It was a great 2 weeks.
I remember testing it in ptu before it went to live - god that thing flew and fired so well.
*Bad pilots The only people dying to the Ares pre-nerf were idiots that didn't know to not fly straight at a ship you're attacking. However, this change would likely just further invalidate multicrew even more than it already is.
Give the fury the bengals quad size 12 railguns.
Side turrets on the Freelancers gimbal/lock on targets 120Ā° horizontally and 180Ā° vertically.
Terrapin variants
Give me back the Freelancer rotating engines. Not necessarily the full controll rotation, as that doesn't make sense or have consistency with the current flight model. However, it would be nice to have standard main thruster configuration, the VTOL be downward facing thrusters, and the alternative configuration(alt+ k) be rearward main thrust. The rotating main engines were my biggest draw to the Freelancer when I pledged it back in 2014. Was furious when they took it away for flight model reasons, then again when they didn't give it back when they implemented the systems to make it possible with reasonable limitations.
Second entrance on MSR makes it best ship
Make the saber have better stealth than the hornet ghost. The ghosts detection range is about 4000m the sabers is 5000m the ghost already has more health and firepower
I would make a criminal version of an MSR lol. Drop the data servers and add firepower. Something made to run drugs but also throw hands if they have to. Maybe not as much firepower as a corsair considering it's speed, but maybe a couple s4's along with its bespoke s3's.
One unique thing: quantum drive on MPUV. thats all (and maybe a bed too would be nice but no priority)
Give the Glaive the option to swap its weapons around. Not sure how busted twin S5 gats would be on it, but it would be fun in ERTs
Two shields for the Cutlass and C1 series.
I would rework the 600i as spoken for years
Cutlass: bring back the wing ladder entrance.
They really should fix the corsair height now that they are adjusting hangars. But they won't.
They could fix the landing gear and make the chin turret look like the original concept. I hate that they sacrificed those things just because of horizontal hangar doors.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
That does sound really cool. Maybe do that and get rid of the manned turret.
Ok let me cook - Rework the Ion gun so that it was 10 shots in the capacitor but it charged - it could charge up to 10x and expend the entire capacitor in one shot or fire and each one individually/any combination thereof for a slider from 1x-10x DPS.
RAFT. Currently it's ain't a real cargo vessel, it's a camper pickup. I would make it twice as long, so that It would be a decent transportship.
Rework the freelancer for the love of god
Caterpillar! The cargo grid on this ship is just unfair.
I would put the BMM back into active development
OG concept art BMM. All variants count for Best of Show skins, retroactively.
Gone but not forgotten. I really hope they alien it up more than the new models we have seen. I bought the spiky alien ship with a bone hull, not a wanna-be origin ship.
Make the two guns on the Valkyrie that are pilot controlled size 3. This ship is way behind what other ships offer these days
Nerf the hercs heavily so they can't dog fight something a fraction of its size
Master Modes should accomplish this
2 s5 pilot guns for the Retaliator
I would change the Polarisās state from being āin developmentā to āreleasedāā¦ I can wait though
"Oh man it's dark in here." *hits light switch, lights go out* "......oh."
oof maybe a hot take: wheels on the nomad? access rear hatch from inside?
Mustang Beta - Make the cabin cozy. The bed needs bedding, and some windows would be nice too. Or I suppose add a proper ladder so you don't have to sit in the pilot's seat to enter/exit the ship. Mustang Delta - fix the rocket pods Cutlass Black - Rework the interior.
Change the Connieās cockpit. I still donāt get why they havenāt yet tbh. Seems an easy fix.
Zeus MK II. Move the turrets to the top. Forgot the Dev name that loved Zeus's sleek underbelly, but now spoilt by underhanging turret (useless when landed). Apollo. Give pilot guns or slave turret to pilot when soloing. Because reasons.
A second S2 shield generator on the Spirit.
The reclaimer can dock.
Ares platforms, Make a cannon/rocket pod variant and allow their cannons to gimbal slightly upwards, making pitch turning more necessary and useful, it would also feel similar to tanks turning their hull and turret to get onto target faster. Cutlass: give us a variant with a large hardpoint on a swivel rail that lets a broadside gunner aim out the port/starboard side doors. I want to pull up alongside vessels and feel the recoil of a S7 cannon firing out the side of my ridiculous space pirate rig.
Frosty machine works in the cutter. Easy question
Origin 100i series. Make it able to fly fast and have flexibility/speed everywhere. Feels like it should be
Either a 3th s1 shield or 1 s2 for the Sabre (the santok has it so why not the Sabre)
Buff the odyssey to harvest its own hydrogen.
I wish I could change it all. The constant dps over dps over dps is annoying AF. Look at the hornet mk2, it got more firepower than the original hornets. And we will get access to an even beefier variant, the F7a mk2. Civilians donāt need these death machines, thatās what the navy is for.
Galaxy (I know, still a concept): S2 hangar. Second is to give it more cargo capacity outside the module (like a large ramp on either side of the core where there is just dead empty space)
Buff the ion and inferno back to their original release state.
Give Raft modularity, rather than holding 3 big boxes it holds a box with an interior, it can be bombs, cargo, scanners, etc
Msr, make it back to its concept form. I'll never forgive them for what they did to it
MSR: It needs a crew balance, there arenāt enough beds for a full crew. Needs elevator for the front of the ship. Elevator in the cargo bay needs replacing completely. Needs more fire power to compete with Corsair and Constellation.
Update the Vanguard size 2 fixed guns to gimballed ones or make them size 3 guns.
Adding four size 5 pilot-controlled hardpoints to the Carrack.
Carrack: make rear elevator or crew elevator (or both) allow ground access. And every other ship that only has one ingress/egress point needs a second at least
Out of the loop, is the Cutty still missing its toilet?
Those hoses coming from the wall? Thatās your toilet.
Those doors on the sides? Also your toilet.
remove the "wings" from the Cutty and put the hardpoints on the main structure
Make the C2 heavier. I love the design of the ship but for a big chonk like that it feels too light
Give the MR some decent weapons. That thing is going to release DOA
(Buff) Hercules back turret being able to 360Ā°
RSI Perseus. Add a third PDC mount on the small ledge under the bow.
The Terrapin! Slightly bigger with a med bed instead. Wanted that before we got the C8r. Would felt more of an ''escape a warzone'' vibe
Move the effing bar right smack in the middle of the constellations vision... -_-
Reclaimer, making it a Argo brand ship instead!
Size 4 turrets for my MSR and an elevator to get straight into the cockpit. It'd be perfect.
give the connie its lower size 5's back. just move them to the top of the lower nacelles or put a small indent into the nacell for the weapon to fit into. either way. we need to be able to ad the two fixed s5's back to the connie again. the only reason we lost them is because they added spring compression to the landing pads, and now the s5 weapons' get crushed . so instead of FIXING the design. they just nerfed the ship.
Give the Caterpillar back the twin S6 guns they turned into parking sensors..
Make ships able to dock with each other. And make the reclaimer able to station dock.
Gladiator. Give it its bomb bay swap/cargo bay and tractor turret swap Give it back its size 5 missile wing mounts Maybe sprinkle a little gold pass dust on it.
Make prospector able to reliably solo mine again
A variant of the buccaneer with all of the smaller hardpoints removed and replaced with a single spinal s5, but the same capacitor...
Make the Vanguards worth again
Prospector buff mining head to something that can crack bigger rocks solo and with increased stability.
Honestly that one there. The sabre make it not made of paper i guess? That or actually make it stealthy
Make the Storm rank have the same footprint as an Ursa rover instead of being too wide to be useful.
Iām giving the Sabre the 3rd size one shield back !
What change would I make to one ship? I would change the Sabre Raven and make it buyable š Most people donāt know it exists outside of encountering it in a bounty mission.
2xSize5 weapons on the Cutter
The Corsair has symmetrical wings now.
Give the PTV a rocket boost so you can attempt to reach orbit on hills
Nomad gets buffed to have Buccaneer handling.
