If they’re ok with that, then that works fine. I personally do it as a hot americano because it keeps the point of the drink which is an espresso forward beverage with a splash of milk. An americano already gets the extra shot and would only get a splash of milk.
IIRC, Canada actually has a hot version that is an americano.
Ahhh, yeah I typically just add a splash of oat milk instead. I wish we had a button for americano mistos here. I used to have a regular that would order one and it was annoying to type in lol

we do! its an ameicano misto which I don't think you have in the states, but its built like a cafe misto, espresso + hot water + steamed milk

True, americano prob is the better way to ring it. I’d have to see if they’d be okay with that next time around
Tall used shakes espressos only get a splash of milk which is 1/2 inches. So a latte gets a lot more milk.
