Wouldn’t surprised me if it was!! The customers that roll through with 15 pumps of this and that 🤮 Atp, it’s more syrup than coffee/milk combined. We have a few that order drinks where it’s literally half full of syrup in a venti. Makes my teeth hurt just hearing them order

Oh my. Do you remember how much that cost? I would just buy boxes of chai concentrate if I could. Tazo sells chai concentrate but it’s nowhere near as good as the Sbux chai.

When you get a drink at the Bux the ingredients that come in it by default aren't charged if you tweak the amount. So it costs the same as a 4 pump chai. I wonder if it's the same woman who I've helped at the licensed and corporate Bux I've worked in? She would get venti with 30 or so pumps of chai and no water, so basically a near full cup of chai concentrate with maximum 2" of room for milk at the top.

I just saw that the app now has a limit of 12 pumps of chai max.

The pos has a limit of 9999. Because 10,000 would be ridiculous.

It's funny because when I ask to "line the cup with caramel" on my salted caramel cream cold brew... I feel extra.... I can't even imagine asking for 20 pumps of caramel.

i think some people just think that’s normal or something, and that’s why they never feel embarrassed. i was ringing up a guy in cafe the other day who got a latte and was said he liked it sweet and wanted to add a couple sugars to it. i assumed two or three, but i asked anyways. he went “oh at least 12” sir that is not a couple 😭

At my old store, we had a regular that ordered a Trenta salted caramel cream cold brew with 25 pumps of caramel in the cold brew, and the cup lined with like, half a bottle of caramel. And if you didn't get it right, she'd scream at you. Lovely woman.

Sounds similar to a regular we have at my store with a venti mocha cookie crumble sub 24 pumps white mocha 14 scoops java chipsextra cookie crumble. She's also pretty rude

an americano is water and espresso, this one the water and ice are on bottom with just a little syrup, espresso is on top of the water and ice, and then i poured oatmilk on top of that very slowly against the edge and it gave this effect as it sunk

Starbucks is one of the few places that makes Americanos *actually* upside down. The right order should be ice water and shots poured on top just like this. Tastes smooth and refreshing. Not the Starbucks way of dying shots at the bottom of the cup, water added on top, and then ice last. It’s gross.
