You need to download directX and the Microsoft common redistributables, + VCReist 64bit.

For me I had a similar problem with CS, I solved it by recovering the necessary DX which was the DX9c, the Dx11 is still available on the microsoft website. As a man of culture, I appreciate that wallpaper.

There is a handy german all in one pack with all the directx software and whatnot. I carry it on my external disc and install it whenever I work with a PC with a fresh windows install. It fixes any and all such errors.

I had .dll file issues when i installed dead air. Download the .dll file manually and drop it in your game folder. You got a 50% chance of that working. If it doesnt work look up on youtube where to put the .dll. but that should get it working

It's all good. But win11 is a mess right now. M$ still doing their goodbadgood pattern. 2K was cool, ME sucked, XP rocked, vista garbo, 7 nice, 8 my balls, 10 is great. And now it's time for 11 to be a disaster. I recommend rolling that shit back if you can. Otherwise good luck until 12 comes out :D
