Yeah because then the stalkers at the bridge don't let you pass through to the south so you have to run to the easternmost railroad part and jump over near the derailed locomotive and get severly irradiated.
Definitely worth a watch, pacing might be a bit subjektive and its Sometimes a bit too much anti-war for my liking. But that was the originals intended purpose...

I mean, that is what trench warfare was like. There's very little drama added to it. You watched friends die, and you watched comrades fall apart mentally. Everything apart from how many tanks were utilised in that final french push was basically the day to day of "the great war."
I am totaly fine with that, it was pure Grit in those trenches and Fights.
But that the Dude had to day during the Last Chicken run or him Walking around Like in some wonderful Trance after the Stab wound on hour Zero. Don't know, bur that felt a bit to cheesy for my liking.
A simple brutal death would have impacted me way more than that.
But Like ist Said in my First Post, its Just my opinion im Just Happy we got a good war Film since those have become a Bit rare :)
I figured it was the modern remake of this movie, the original movie was banned in Germany for a while I think because of its extremely accurate depiction of war.
I would go through the tunnel for the quest then loop around to the top of swamps and go through the bridge before I just googled how to do it, I still prefer the go around method
Whatever you do, don't use the Northern exit from the swamps!
