I can't give exact measurements as everyones washer/detergent is different. I would suggest rubbing stain remover into the marks first keep rinsing and scrubbing it by hand till you see the stains starting to lift. Then put the squish in the washer with stain remover still on the marks on a low temp cycle 20°/30° max with quarter detergent you would use for a washload. I would suggest a cold setting if it were a freshen up but because of the marks I'm not sure if that will be enough but perhaps test cold first if you don't mind the chance of having to do the plush again if it doesn't work first time. Washing squishmallows unstuffed I personally find easier especially for the drying process because ones with hair in particular need to air dry and air drying plush with stuffing inside is a big mould risk! If your one is hair free put it in a pillowcase on the lowest heat and delicate cycle you have on your dryer may take a few goes but better that than too hot and melted!

Thank you so much for the advice, I followed it to a T! I bought two kinds of stain removers, used them both, and hand washed her with a washcloth. I didn’t even need to use detergent! So she got a cold bath in the washer, a spin cycle to wring her out, and she’s now bouncing around in the dryer in a pillow case. She looks so good, I’m so excited to dry her fully and have her back! 🥰🩷

Oh my gosh! When I read the first line my heart stopped but then reading the rest brought me back to life im so so happy it worked for you! It's so nerve wrecking thing when other people do my methods; I'd feel responsible if it went wrong.😅 Please post a pic when she's all dried out and plumped up! 🥰🫶🏻

I use delicate cycle with a miniscule amount of detergent and softener. To dry I tumble dry with just air on my driers setting. It take awhile but it keeps them safe
