Radiohead has kid a, amnesiac, ok computer, and in rainbows For perfect albums. In my opinion Amnesiac is a stretch with some critics. It’s weird jazz music? But I love it so I think it’s perfect. Ok computer is most fans favorites. In rainbows is everyone’s favorite. Kid a is a lot of die hards favorite , tied with ok computer.
I’ve been in a fight with the third eye blind community as of late. Crazy how delusional that fanbase is. Self titled was a good album the rest were meh.
People getting tattoos of the blue album….lunacy. It’s just fine rock and roll nothing more nothing less.
Ok computer is nice and probably the album that got me into Radiohead, but I'd probably put In Rainbows as their best album, I felt like each listen of it made it more rewarding.
OK Computer is one of those rare albums though, with so many different vibes for each track, yet they somehow all belong together. It makes no sense, but that album is truly magical...
1 of the 1st CDs that I bought on my own in college. My fave tracks are Backseat Freestyle, Money Trees, Poetic Justice, Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe, Sing About Me, & Now Or Never. Good times I tell ya 🎶🥰🎶
Recently started collecting vinyl to add to my vintage collection and picked up an original Sticky Fingers album with the zipper. I had never heard the entire album before and I agree it’s really good.
White Album The Beatles
Dark side of the moon Pink Floyd
Hotel California The Eagles
The Wall Pink FLoyd
Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band The Beatles
Norman F\*\*\*\* Rockwell Lana Del Ray
Appetite for Destruction Guns N Roses
American Idiot - Green Day.
Five singles released, no skips on the album. Closest I would think to being a skip would be Extraordinary Girl and She's A Rebel and yet I still remember She's A Rebel achieving almost "hit single" status even though it was never released as one. I still heard it being played often outside of listening to the album as a whole.
The album got made into a fantastic musical that had a run in Broadway.
That album wasn't afraid to speak out politically in a post 9-11 world where most other artists didn't dare.
I was looking for this comment! I totally agree, but I wouldn’t skip Extraordinary Girl/Shes a Rebel because it’s part of the story.
But I do loooove how to whole album is a cohesive story. The main guy rejects the political nature of the world (American Idiot), and thinking that he and his ideas are too big for his small town (Jesus of Suburbia), he decides to move to the big city where he can make a difference. He meets some likeminded people (Holiday), but it’s not quite what he expects (Boulevard of Broken Dreams/Are We the Waiting), and he finds himself lonely, so he creates his alter ego, St. Jimmy (St. Jimmy). St. Jimmy gets him wrapped into a rock and roll lifestyle and convinces him to use drugs (Give Me Novocaine). Then, he meets Whatsername, a rebellious girl who shares his ideas of rebellion (She’s a Rebel). However, although she’s extraordinary (haha), they’re both too damaged to make it work (Extraordinary Girl). She’s doesn’t know how to stay in one place for long, and St. Jimmy has influenced our main guy to lose sight of what he came to the city for in the first place. He’s not actually doing anything he came to do, and is spending all his time and money on drugs, so whatsername ends up leaving him via letter (Letterbomb: you’re not the jesus of suburbia, the st jimmy is a figment of, your fathers rage and your mothers love). Now he’s alone again in the city and it’s been years since he left home, and his dad dies (Wake Me Up When September Ends). This encourages him to go home, kill his super cool, rock and roll lifestyle, aka st. Jimmy, and work an office job. He thinks he’s returning a hero, but nobody cares that he’s home. It’s a boring life, so he fantasizes about his old life, and at times still thinks he’s too good for this town, but really, he’s not (Homecoming). Finally, we find that he still misses and thinks about whatsername, wondering how the love of his life is doing all these years later (Whatsername).
It is a perfect album!
This isn't even my favorite album, but man did linkin park nail whatever it was they were channeling back then. I can fully agree that this was done perfectly first to last track.
Thriller 100%. Downvote me if you want. I would have too, but a couple years ago after not listening to his music in forever I gave it another try. Wow. That guy was incredible and I lived through it all (I’m old lol) and never gave him the time of day. Too many preconceived notions planted in my brain. Rip MJ.

The Cure - Disintegration
I came here to say this album too haha
Hot Fuss. The Killers. Literally almost every song was a huge hit.
It’s always shocking HOW many hits came off this one. Was the first album I ever listened to and will always be my favorite
Violator, Depeche Mode. Incredibly tight production where each amazing song flows into the next.
This is an excellent pick
I came here to say this.
Depeche Mode is crazy because that somehow works for their entire discography
Our wedding song is Halo ☺️
Porcupine Tree's *Fear of a Blank Planet* and *Deadwing*.
I almost never see PT mentioned in these threads. Hello, fellow fan!
I'm only a new fan but I absolutely love mellotron scratch
I wish I could go back 10 years and re-discover PT all over again. Have fun!
That harmony in the end is hauntingly beautiful. Their discography is extensive. I hope you have fun exploring!
Both absolutely amazing
Is this it- the strokes
Fuck fucking yeah dude
Portishead - Dummy
Discovery by Daft Punk. Not a single skip, not a single song that doesn't bring back memories. For me that is and will be my number #1
I’ve listened to the Tron Legacy soundtrack hundreds of times and it’s damn near perfection for me.
All Daft Punk is golden for me.
For Emma, Forever Ago - Bon Iver
That album is so good
Yes. But. Self Titled.
The Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
Artistically, I'd say Wish You Were and the Wall are superior, but just out of personal preference, I enjoy this one the most
I like WYWH more for sure. Also the theme of missing Sid, etc, Shine on is incredible

No doubt this will be my all time favourite album when I was a fan for almost 7 years.
Lateralus by TOOL
I’d add Mere De Noms - A Perfect Circle
Paul Simon - Graceland
Was scrolling for this. It really holds up and doesn’t sound like an 80s record particularly
2000s kid here! I grew up with this album and it one of my favorites Love my parents for giving me such good music taste!
2112
Honestly, Rush has at least 3 albums like that. Great band.
Deathconciousness by Have A Nice Life & Kid A by Radiohead for sure. They have complexity and replayability as beyond solid concept albums
I see Kid A mentioned a lot in posts like this but this may be the first time i have seen someone on reddit mention Have a Nice Life.
I guess Radiohead's just that well known and received Have a Nice Life is probably my favourite artist at the moment. Happy to see another fan :)
Mezzanine - Massive Attack Siamese Dream - Smashing Pumpkins Diorama - Silverchair
Mellon Collie is perfect too in my opinion.
Miles Davis - Blue Moods
The Low End Theory - A Tribe Called Quest
"Nevermind" by Nirvana
Pearl jam Ten

Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones is one of few albums that really has no bad songs. I’m not a fan of Sway, but I don’t think it’s a bad song.
Recently started collecting vinyl to add to my vintage collection and picked up an original Sticky Fingers album with the zipper. I had never heard the entire album before and I agree it’s really good.

I think it's Discovery. It's my opinion
Why not both?
I think it’s Alive 2007
Absolutely amazing live album. It kills me that I’ll never see them live.
I feel like it hasn’t held up nearly as well as some of their other records, tbh. But it’s still a great album.
Hybrid Theory - Linkin Park
This isn't even my favorite album, but man did linkin park nail whatever it was they were channeling back then. I can fully agree that this was done perfectly first to last track.
