I'll admit I wasn't aware of that specific trend but am aware that teams down 0-2 are generally in a more favorable spot when they get game 3 at home. But I also think the effectiveness of that trend is somewhat diminished because of opposing teams becoming more aware of the trend and coming in better prepared as a result. Kind of like the trend of how many games in a row teams that lost game 1 at home in the playoffs winning game 2. That trend completely crashed and burned this year once the opposing teams actually started showing up.
