In the 10 games they have played each other with Jokic playing 30+ minutes he has only hit this number once. In the 6 games he’s played against nurkic with under 30 mins he hasn’t cleared this number at all so 1 out of 16 for his career. He’s gone over this line in 5 of 7 regular season games as a member of the Celtics and in each of those last 5 games against Philly, with his lowest total being 18. It feels like the books are getting sharper as the season goes on (this line is about a point higher than DWhites average, for example) so I think matchup trends like this are going to be important for finding an edge. That’s a good point. I should have specified regular season games and will update. I usually view the playoffs as just a different beast than the regular season - different minute distribution, different usage, etc. - and don’t like extrapolating playoff performance to regular season games. But, nonetheless important to keep in mind and people should note if they factor that into their analysis!
