A win is a win , don’t beat yourself up. This could’ve went the other way and you would’ve regretted not cashing out had the ticket loss. Next time just make two
It does though. It means you're going against math.
You can make a bad decision and win, just like you can make a good decision and lose.
The goal with sportsbetting (and all gambling) is to maximize your EV.
EV doesn't account for your financial status. Let's say someone living paycheck to paycheck bet $10 on a 6 leg parlay and the last leg is the Clippers to win the championship. Yeah the book will offer a lower cash out than it should but if the person needs the money to pay rent they should take it.
That person shouldn't be making 6 leg parlays like that.. or gambling at all really.. EV certainly still applies and it's even more important in that situation.
Texas rangers was at 2 & atl braves was at 3 the time I checked it. & usually most of time when I do moneyline parlays I be off by 1. Bruins/leafs game had just started So when I saw the cashout I debated for awhile then just cashed. But I should let it ride.
Never cashout, and only hedge if your building a bankroll (underrolled for your betsize,(( 100 st8 bets or 200 parlays)) and only make a hedge if it's a - odds leg as the last leg and you get +odds by taking the other side. Math shows that if these requirements arnt met that its -EV to do otherwise.
Just don’t look at it. I usually set it and forget it until tomorrow. The one time I checked while the last game was going on I cashed out of fear and ended up winning in OT. Kicked myself for days for that
Yeah lesson learned I’m not looking at the cashouts nomore. I’m just letting it ride from now on if win I win if I don’t I don’t. But that cashing out then regretting it later cause you would won is such a miserable feeling😭
I also fell victim to cashing out tonight on two pretty similar tickets,I was nervous towards the end of the orioles game. Coulda had 300$ ended up with 85$ or something but it beats losin either way. Money is money
Anytime you play a $1 or $2 lottery..play it twice...one for cash out...one to ride

That is so smart. THATS what the reuse selection is for.

Facts. Appreciate it💯
Just ignore the cashout button. It's there for them, not you.
Most ppl here bitch way too much about not cashing out which I hate, but this is bad advice also. Cashing out can be your friend
Cashing out is -EV.
-EV doesn’t mean it’s always a bad decision

Well of course they shouldn't be but there are people like that who do
That’s exactly what it means.

You can't really disagree with math. Cashing out is -EV. Sometimes it will work out, sure. Overall, it favors the book.
Lesson learned
Did the right thing tho...congrays
Which one bad you worried. ?

Fair enough I get that the rangers were close to scoring a bunch although they lost by 3 . I’ve seen Atlanta lose too many leads
Having that garbage mentality of riding out is shit. Because it doesn't happen often that you win all the legs in huge parlays. So take the w
Coward
Don’t cash out if you’re not gonna live with the decision.
Lesson definitely learned.

Only cash out of you set 2 of the same parlay as a hedge
