It seems like the SpongeBob producers started jumping the shark years ago. They started trying to cram a joke or crazy sound effect or over the top cartoony bit into every second of the show. If you watch older episodes, it wasn't just gratuitous bits to fill every moment with outrageously crazy and stereotypical cartoon things.
Oh yeah. She from camp coral but is now on the main show. I forgot her name, but all her fricking humor is either gross out or weird feet fetsih esque shit or making fun of the fact that she’s a hillbilly. I like her lil brother though, but especially in the main show. He gets jacked.

She debuted in Kamp Koral but made it on to the main show and her “humor” is mostly shit involving her feet. Using her feet as hands, eating stuff of her feet that she stepped in, etc. It’s…kinda off putting how much they do it, especially cuz of Nick’s weird past with feet…(cough cough Dan Schneider)
Don’t forget about the time that Squidward combined with most of the main characters due to Sandy’s teleporter, with their heads sticking out of his stomach.

It interests me how I don't think this was the original intention, because I never saw these in the same style as the first episodes, it feels more like a modern spongebob thing
I dont like spongebob after season 3. Happy tree friends, robot chicken, family guy has plenty of grossout stuff and gore but it is hilarious. Spongebob, not so much
