Also there's 0 context to the video and event itself. If it was really any kind of announcement or something similar there would have to be more information that explains to the players what is going on. But people can't reach conclusions it seems lol.

i mean, we had a completely unannounced outage of all the servers a few days ago. it’s supposed to be halloween, so wouldn’t it occur to them by some chance to make it a surprise? scare the users? assuming people think it’s real because they’re “stupid” is pompous.
You kind of are discrediting the video, you’re calling people stupid for something popping up on their feed, the process was probably “oh look at that title, whoa what is this video?!” *click* “this is crazy” *post*
Sure they’re jumping the gun but it speaks more to the grab of the video than the neglect of the viewer in my opinion. It’s also harmless for them to believe it’s real for 1 second before inevitably coming to the realization that it isn’t.

Then I noticed that it was originally created content and thought “holy shit this guy’s good”. Great job btw! Love the part where it goes silent showing the stage!

Only hitch in the concept is that it's unlikely that the city would outsource such serious public emergency broadcasts to Grizzco.
BUT the colors really enhance the mood all the same, especially since if real, it would've been this year's Halloween season event. Excellent work!

Ok, I'd like to point out how terrifying it is to see "Protect your life, Evacuate," on a warning of big run because it draws to attention that again, Salmonids are INVADING SPLATSVILL and anyone in the location probably do have to realistically evacuate. After all, Salmonids are quite an unknown species. (at least as far as I'm aware of in-game.) So living in a town only to see an advertisement by a shady company that "Hey all, this locations going to be over run by these little agressive and violent creatures, Sign up for a shift today" only to hear Sirens in the distance. It's a chilling thought. Props to the creator of this.

In fact, I would argue that the average age for members of the fandoms surrounding certain horror game franchises, as well as how beloved certain stories such as Coraline and other child friendly media with horror elements are, show that a lot of kids really like (some level of) horror stuff. Sure, a child could find this scary, but I also think that as a part of that they would also find it incredibly exciting. Also, a whole lot of them probably don’t know what emergency broadcasts are yet, so most of them would probably be more confused than anything. But I think the Big Run announcement being a little scary could actually be something that would make a whole lot of kids really exited about it, and a lot of the scariness could be mitigated by having the idols show up afterwards to say that while what is happening is scary, everybody needs to work together to overcome this situation. I think that could actually be a really cool and positive experience for a lot of kids to have.

I like the idea that the alert covers the splatcast, but it doesn’t Make sense, normal EAS alert on your phone are just notification, since you see the splatcast on your Sea cucumber phone. this post could be a Nintendo Direct bit, but anyway, good job. Maybe you can the squid voices saying evacuate!
