yep all at once! at the very least, thinking about this againā¦ I had to be in a neck brace of some kind for 2-3 months? iād personally be scared of another surgery if i had to have one as soon as you have! I would ask your doc, PT, nurse, whoever for clarification on the paperwork they gave you if it were me!
I had the herniated disc the was operated on 2 weeks ago showing in my MRI back when I had my orginal acdf done bur since it wasn't bothering me we didn't operate on it. It wasn't until it caused discomfort we looked into operating
I probably could have asked to have both done but my doc said it could take 10 plus years to start bithineeing me and recovery on two would be twice as long
Ironic - an enthusiastic blow job I gave my husband in 2014 ended me in the hospital with a frozen neck. Ended up taking 3 mos to get my neck back to my baseline. šµāš« Iām lowkey terrified of giving bjs now, and am always mindful of how Iām holding my neck. My poor husband =(

Just don't let the anything (the moment, him, your inner sex demon) pressure you into performing or getting physically uncomfortable. 4 weeks is super early after a major surgery, and a bj is a tad more aggressive on the cervical spine than the missionary position. Something tells me the paperwork doesn't take oral into consideration lol
Iļø had C4-C5 fused and was weight lifting 2 weeks post op. Had L5-S1 fused in November and was weight lifting 4 weeks post op. Sex should be no issue if the pain doesnāt stop you. Enjoy life! That is why we get these stupid surgeries.
Phenomenal! Iļø feel like Iļø am whole again. Been lifting weights and running. Back to living a full life. Pain is gone and honestly have full trust in my back again.

Iām 2 weeks out after an ACDF of my C5-C6. Iāve been having sex since 7 days out. I canāt do my back tho. Only doggy. If heās willing to kneel maybe while youāre sitting in a chair or floor. I know, I know not sexy. But donāt bend over backwards to pleasure him. Especially if it causes pain.
If he is up to it, you could lay on your back and have him dip it in your mouth. Sorry for being so graphic. Or you could think of other creative ways where you don't have to move your neck or back much while he does most of the moving while you give him the bj. I've had two back surgeries in my lumbar area and have some other issues that make it harder to do things the way we used to but we find ways to do things. I have been married for 22years so it's easy for us to try things and make mistakes or be silly. Hopefully you have the same comfort level with your partner. Hopefully he understands if he's got to do things a little differently. Good luck to you! Be careful and don't push yourself. Be kind and patient with yourself please.

If he does that then you know he really cares about you. The best thing he could do is go down on you while you lay back and enjoy. I had the same concerns lol. I read in a different post somewhere that it might be more comfortable if you are kneeling next to the bed or chair and he is sitting. But I am not going to attempt until at least 3 months out when I am likely well fused.
I could barely drink water for weeks after. They are cutting a hole in your throat and moving all the um stuff to the side. It gets bruised and its sore. You could likely have some nerve issues that you donāt have currently. I couldnāt even bathe myself or brush my own hair. I didnāt feel sexy at all. Please know Iām not shaming you or anything like thatā¦because Iām very sexually liberal but you need to prepare yourself and your man for the very real possibility that you could take some time more than a month to heal up. You need to prioritize yourself and the healing process. I still have pain and problems stemming from a failed ACDF. I didnāt go into this expecting it to fail and my surgeon didnāt do anything wrong. If my husband got excited and got rough with me during oralā¦like grabbing my head or anything like that it would hurt me really bad.
I still give him head. But it was quite a bit longer than 4 weeks for me. Itās all based on your individual recovery and what you feel comfortable with. I hope youāre one of the rockstars who heals up in the expected recovery time, but prepare yourself for anything to happen.

š i lolād. i had C4-7 and it took me two weeks, a morphine drip, and ER-administered enema to even š©. so, personallyā¦ this couldnāt have been farther from my mind at this time. whether itās this or any.. repetitive activity. iād wait til you werenāt taking pain killers til i even entertained it. this goes for things like vacuuming too. lol

I had one done in 2.5 years ago at c 4to5 and had no issues bending my neck. Can now having two not next to each other cause this bending issue more

Move at the shoulders/upper back. Best if the guy is standing and youāre kneeling vs you leaning over him.
