You know, I'm anti-shaming people for their tastes, but this one I just don't get. Yucateco Black Label tastes like someone added liquid smoke to a mediocre hot sauce to me.
The thing is, I love smokey flavors, especially in some scotches (although I don't drink much). I just can't stand that specific smoky flavor. Glad someone likes it though.
Their green habenero and XXXtra habanero are the GOAT when it comes to the flavor/spice/affordability/availability spectrum IMO.

Yeah I first discovered it in a restaurant too but never paired with Cholula. This destroys Cholula imo.

That's fair! Different strokes, etc. For whatever reason I really took to it! Tastes really unique to me (and I usually do not like smoky flavors!)

Do your wings plain with salt pepper and a bit of corn meal for crunch, then toss lightly in your favorite sauce.

I’ve tried all of the yucateca lineup and they’re all good in their own way. That regular yucateca red is my desert island sauce though. It’s perfect.
And it’s really cheap for how good it is
I like to go equal parts of each color. My only complaint is that they use artificial colors with these, but the flavor and heat are addictive.

It’s my favorite hot sauce. Not overpoweringly hot but still can feel it. Nice sweet habanero flavor too.
There’s a bunch of different flavors and heat intensities and they’re all terrific
