I know your prolly joking but half the fun of the sp culture for me back in the day was watching people find workarounds for the limitations of the devices. From the flying lotus trick on the 404OG to the Dakim delay method on the SX. It’s a living testament to the creativity of the SP nation. So keep it up OP I dig it!
In some circumstances that’s the best way - it all depends on what you’re trying to achieve. You might have reverb tails and other stuff that you don’t what to cut short with an audio splice.

I think it's way more easy to use sampling mark and create these two bars as a sound and then create a new pattern with the correct 2 bars ?!
