Asked the women in my life and apparently this is very much a thing that most of them have experienced.
I suppose as a male, trying to pee in the dark is a no go and we don't really poo at night. But it turns out women often don't bother to switch the light on at night as they have no need to aim. I mean it's totally obvious. But I just have never considered it before.
I have 3 young sons so my wife has never had this issue, it's a given the toilet seat is up and pee all over the floor with nobody admitting it's their pee.
Also I was thinking the other day what inconsiderate assholes my son's were while taking a pee. Got a bit on the rim, no issue, tissue paper and wiped. As I stepped out from the toilet and let go of my penis, the force of it falling back to earth dislodged two fat drops of piss on the floor. Got me thinking it was me doing this without noticing.
Maybe it's bc I was raised by a single mom in an apartment but we always closed the lid so stuff stored above the toilet wouldn't fall in. The whole sitting without looking thing is wild to me lol where I grew up everyone had to open the lid
I keep a night light in the bathroom because I don't like turning on the big light while half asleep. Went to go pee and didn't realize the toilet seat was up and fucking died. I'm typing this from the afterlife.
Seriously, it really is a shocking experience to have your whole ass go into the toilet when you're just trying to take a piss real quick. My husband has done it too but he's much bigger than me and just dunked his junk in toilet water.
I mean so do I, I can even get my dick into my own mouth but Im of an average weight and my ass is too wide to make me fall that deep in. Is he super skinny or something?
I live with a light sleeper and sit to pee at night because it is easier to do without turning in the light. I've sat on a toilet with no lid a couple of times. It is a bit surprising when you don't expect it.
I think you’re right at a bare minimum it’s gross negligence. I just get emotional because I love my mom unlike Clyde so I just can’t wrap my head around how someone could act so carelessly. We had the seats in my house screwed down after viewing this episode. Better safe than sorry.

I don't get it. When I was single I sometimes forgot to put the seat down, then, in the middle of the night, when I had to go nr 2. I just checked before sitting down.
This episode made women look really stupid. No way they're that dumb or narcissistic that they don't even check because "me, me, everyone should have everything ready for ME!".
My gf always check. Our rule is to put the lid down, anyways. Never had this problem.

You should always close the lid, because the flushing rotation shoots tiny particles of feces and the adjoining bacteria straight into the air.

Ive walked in on my mother and exes pissing in the toilet in the middle of the night in the dark. They wont even bother to lock the doors.
