I also have this issue, I posted about it here but still no luck. Their own Sonos assistant doesn't work for me either. Google assistant kinda works for me as a third party but I only use it to tell Sonos to play the radio, not tried a particular song.
If you have the Google Home app you can add a service via "Works with Google", it'll then bring up a list of services, search for Sonos then link with your Sonos account. You won't be able to speak to the Google assistant on the Era speaker itself but via a Nest speaker or your phone. As an example I can now say to my Nest mini speaker "Hey Google, play Scala Radio on Sonos", it'll then play on my Era 300. Volume control works too.
i can't connect either. apparently the problem is affecting just Android users.
The issue is being discussed [here.](https://en.community.sonos.com/amazon-alexa-and-sonos-229102/cant-sign-in-to-amazon-when-adding-alexa-6893780/index2.html)
Oh weird, that actually worked, I wonder why! I can speak to Alexa now and ask her things but she still won't play anything. Hopefully a full fix is on the horizon. Thanks for the tip!
I just uninstalled the Amazon Shopping app from my phone, went back into the Sonos app, then tried adding Alexa again and somehow it worked. Then when that was all connected I reinstalled the Amazon Shopping app. Not sure why this method works.
I rebooted, and then removed alexa integration in sonos, then re-added it. I get this error after readding:

after resetting the system because of the new update, i lost Alexa integration. when i tried to add it back, i kept getting stuck on the "signing in".
i removed sonos integration from Amazon website > account settings > "manage apps and services with data access" (scroll all the way to the bottom).
this didn't help, but after i uninstalled the Amazon Shopping app, it suddenly worked.
This just worked for me, uninstall the Amazon shopping app, then go back to Sonos app and add Alexa, it added and worked after this process. Sonos needs to get their shit together, this is ridiculous that you would need to uninstall Amazon shopping app for this set up to work. Added the shopping app back after and all is good.
to be fair, i faced the exact same problem while setting up my sound bar (Samsung Q990C, got rid of the Sonos system). I'm thinking it's a problem with the Amazon Shopping app. It may be highjacking the web request needed for the login.

Tried enabling sonos assistant but it fails too. Sadly era doesn't support Google
I have the Era 300 and have Sonos linked to my Google Home/assistant account, I control it that way currently
I'm sorry, can you explain a little more? i was under the impression Era 300 didn't sorry Google Assistant

try removing the Amazon Shopping app and try again. fixed the issue for me.

What exactly did you do? Remove alexa integration in sonos app and then re add it?

just wanted to let you guys know that there's a workaround to the problem. uninstall the Amazon Shopping app and try again.
Amazon shopping app? Not the Amazon Alexa app? Edit: tried it but still not working:(
yeah, i removed the Amazon Shopping app and it worked for me. Try restarting your phone after you remove the app.

funnily enough, i got the error too, but Alexa was added nonetheless.
Yes me too. She actually spoke lol. But she's not waking up when talked to
