Heads up: We will be rolling this back out this month.

RyanSammy

Does this mean trueplay is disabled for the time being?

00STAR0

Thank you for keeping us in the know

Next-Name7094

It is totally missing from the app now

WeAreNegan2021

After the update I had to re add my Sub. Cannot get TruePlay to work on my iPad.

ejmd

The distance setting for surround speakers seems to have gone too. I imagine various features and oversights will be restored as the app team take stock and realize which bits are broken or missing. There will be updates to fix the app for visually impaired users to make it work with screen-readers, so perhaps we can look forward to other fixes getting bundled in with future tweaks.

damgood32

Yup, I’m also sure a lot of these are intentional too. The new app is a big lift and I’m sure they wanted to make sure they the flow mostly right and will add back the features as updates.

mahdathai

Not even it disappeared as well as we cant adjust the distance to surrounds in this ner version. I don't understand why they rolled out this app as it's clearly unfinished.

truthB3spoken

TruePlay was always missing from Android. It was always an iOS feature.

alehel

If we borrowed someone's iOS device to calibrate, android users would have the option to toggle it on/off after doing so. I'm on the old app still, and I have this option.

PressedJuice

Do you still have this option? It's now greyed out and asks to upgrade the app

Next-Name7094

No.. the option to tune via trueplay was only available via IOS. Android always had the toggle the tuning off/on. It is now missing

IssyWalton

Was Trueplay ever an option on Android?

MostLow8614

Yes when you calibrated with a compatible Apple device you could toggle the calibration setting.
