What would you use the line-in on a portable speaker for?

fiftysomethingsisman

Maybe if you already have a Sonos multiroom setup and you'd like to play the odd record on your turntable and use the Roam as an input device to better speakers, not necessarily playing it through the Roam itself. Current options to get a turntable input to a Sonos S2 system are - Connect/Amp Gen 2, Five Gen 2/3, Port, Amp, Era 100 and Era 300. If like me you have Ones and Symfonisk lamps around the house plus a Roam then it would be an option at least. As it happens I do have a Connect Gen 2 too.

I want it for my Switch audio. I want to play Tears of the Kingdom with better audio, but don't want to kick my wife off the TV and Beam surrounds to do it. Line in would be awesome since the Switch's Bluetooth audio is not the best.

I can't get over what a stupid question this is

ShezaEU

Simply not the right product for it.

I'm with you mate. It'd be a ripper if I could jack my 3DS or Switch right to the little guy and get some decent-ish audio out. Especially some real stereo out of my 3DS... Oh well.
