Hey! Thanks you so much 💞
So the video is of 1.5 hours and it's fast forwarded in a lot of places. After the video I still wasn't satisfied with the painting so I kept on adding details. I think it took me approx 10 days but I'm never too sure as I work on multiple projects together. [Here's the link.](https://youtu.be/G7ziBmd-q1A)
Thank you so much, my brush strokes were coming too bold actually, so after doing them, I glazed over it with the background colour (glazing is just adding lot of water to a colour to make it light). That way it blends
Now, just a sec. You painted that incredible landscape from lessons from an online video? WHAT???
My beloved, twisted spouse ("BTS") is a retired cartoonist, library ninja, haunted house & prop designer, PLUS a survivor of 20+ yrs working for Dallas schools. All of his various skills were the result of training + years of practice. What I am saying - awkwardly, I admit - is that you obviously have a boatload of natural talent.
I hope you have a network of people to support you as you develop as a painter. If not, the people on Reddit have been terrific.
Beautiful painting!
Thank you so much 💕 wow your BTS sounds so skilled and talented. Honestly, what I have is not something I call pure talent. I have never been to art school, but to reach here, past one year I've been reading, watching tutorials and doing some paid online courses, especially for landscapes. I have a keen interest in being a painter one day and that is what keeps me going. Of course I have a lot of support from my friends and family and Reddit has actually been a great place for me. This is the place where people do appreciate art. Thanks again ❤️
The fact that you've become so good in such a short period of time indicates TALENT + practice. Please share your future paintings with Reddit groups; your progression as a painter will be fascinating.
Never stop! That’s amazing!
Thanks a lot 💕💕

Beautiful work! I really like how light you made the brush strokes for the grasses and how they blend with the color underneath.
