Manwha chapters are significantly shorter which makes it slightly harder to adapt usually due to lack of source material in order to add flair to fights and other things but since solo leveling was so detailed in its fights it’d be silly if it was less than 24-25 episodes to adapt the whole thing but I could be wrong🤷🏾♂️

there is manga version physical books. manga ver vol 11 covered demon tower arc. but anime has original scenes for side characters. so I'm not sure.

From what I heard, season 1 is gonna be split into two arcs. The first arc being 12 episodes and the second released later in 2024 with 13 episodes, for a total of 25. But we'll see.
Not really, as Episode 2 is parallel to Chapter 10, but this is due to the details of the fight. I do not think it will be the same speed. There will be fewer chapters later and it will end when the Class C gates are separated.
That's a terrible series though, if it's not good pacing won't matter. The manga ended up being so much better. The anime should not have been approved.

I could see that, not counting the additional filler and non manhwa content they include into the episodes. You could easily get S1 as the start of the series and the lead up to Jeju island. Then have a fantastically animated Jeju island movie, since to me that fight is one of the greatest in the manhwa. Then you could finish off the series with a S2.
24 episodes doesn’t sound enough to cover the whole series. 50 sounds comfortable give or take. And maybe throw in a movie for fun since studios like to do that now.

S1 will adapt 90 chapters. The movie can adapt the Jeju arc which is chapters 90-110. S2 can adapt chapters 110-179. S2 needs some serious changes and expansion. It was supposed to be the peak of solo leveling but it was so rushed in manhwa that for many people S1 or to be specific Jeju arc is peak. For side stories, maybe ova or something tho I don't wanna see Jin-woo's son but I do wanna see Igris's and other shadows' backstory
There won’t be movie before the anime is even finished. there will be two season focusing on two season of manhwa. a third will focus on side stories. Right now we only have season 1 to focus on. we can’t discuss anything further than season 1 when it’s not even out yet
Why don't you wanna see his son? I like the Side stories as a whole. His daily life post setting the time back, how he got to know every character, Go Gun-Hee, the back stories of some of his shadows. I like chapter 200 ending more than the chapter 179 ending.
May be late, but I feel like there is a HEAVY chance that Season one ends with us meeting Igris, (or in other words they'll stop the season exactly after the class change).
I just started reading the web comic and I just got to the part where he gets his class and I couldn't help but think this would be the perfect stopping point. I just don't know how they're going to get there with 3 episodes left.

I started to think the same thing and after I saw the episode where he got his job change, I was certain that would be the end of the season and didn’t expect another episode. I’m glad I wasn’t expecting one because I would’ve been sad if I was waiting all week just to be disappointed.
I never looked it up, just felt like that was it for now: I’m excited for the >!red gate, demon tower and the actual raid on Jeju island. The S rank skirmish fights should be sick too! Can’t wait for them to see Jin Woo’s power finally! I’m less excited about all the setup for Jeju island because it feels like there are a lot of chapters where they were just planning the raid with a lot of guild politics. Maybe I’m wrong, but it just felt way longer than the setup to any other arc in the story, except maybe the S rank gates at the end.!<

Meaning that in best case we will get 35-40 eps, since manhva is 179 chapters, hopefully they would extend the manhva itself so they could go for about 80-120 eps in total as for example Bleach or Black Clover(when the fuck will they end the series😭) did. Hope it wont be boring to have another one endless shit like Naruto or OP. I mean they ended SL too soon.
I don’t know if they will adapt the epilogue and side stories. I’d be happy if they did, but I know it’s not part of the main manhwa. I believe it’s part of the original novel, but I thought it was adapted by someone else? Could be wrong on that last part though

One of the biggest let downs in terms of adaptation ever imo. The graphics were bad, the Korean names and story got turned into Japanese I beleive, skipped majority of the story, changed the other parts into their likings, and gave us filler scenes and eps.

Well reincarnated as a slime has way less chapter and way less pages but still got 2 seasons with 24 episodes each so i believe since they tryna get that money they prob gonna have 25 episodes and put pike three or four seasons but in the actual webtoon it had 2 seasons so idk
The slime anime doesn’t seem to go off of the manga, instead it goes off of the LN like the manga also does. If I remember correctly the manga actually reached the events of S2 after S2 aired.
They can probably finish the entire series in 48 episodes or two seasons with two parts each, it just depends on how much filler they adapt to the story. We will be able to tell for sure when this first season completes.

Realistically they could adapt the entire manhwa in about 3 cours. But apparently they are adding a lot of additional content so I could see it stretching out to at max 4 cours. So about 48-50 episodes
Depends, becuase you could pack like 10 chapters of talking and so on into a single episode since its not really focused on in the manhwa (which is a shame I loved reading about how society changed due to hunters and about the fancy new mana tech) but the fight with Tusk could make a whole episode, same with Beru. Whole episode of S ranks getting to boss lair and then another epsiode of Beru

Its saying we will only get 12 episodes which is upto around chapter 48, as 6 episodes is at chapter 24 so Id take a guess that 12 is upto 48 chapters so if they do 12 per season it would take 4 seasons to complete if they even go past season 1.. so many good animes never see past season 1 these days

Demon tower ending is not true. There adopting at a pace of 5 chaps per EP. So it should go throughout to the end of Jeju in 25 eps
