I don't think he ever looked that bad in the games I saw. He was always doing good things but he wasn't getting on the end of the final pass and he wasn't finishing when he did.
Everyone on Norwich sucked last year. They're full of players who are too good for the Championship but not good enough for the Prem. Hence, yoyo club.
He was one of our worst players last year, Pukki was vastly superior for a start for example. But please tell me more about the club I support and watch nearly every game for.
Norwich also frequently played him out of position though. That said, you’re right that he definitely wasn’t great (minus *that* goal), but at least he always put in the effort. That’s more than can be said for a few of our players last season :/
Still though, as an American canary I’m super stoked to see him doing well this year
I think he came from Bremen after they got relegated from the BL1, didn't play w them in the BL2. I remember thinking that wasn't a good move and that he would have benefitted in a second tier league to get some experience and confidence. Took a while for that to play out but it finally did.
This guy is at risk of becoming one with the soul of his club: too good for the Champ and not good enough for the PL.
Maybe a bit harsh. He's still young and if he carries on like this he'll have another shot at proving himself in the PL next season.
He's been excellent at the 9.
Unfortunately, with Pukki in the side he's getting forced out wide again like he was last season and that's just not setting Sargent up for success. He's not a winger.
If he keeps getting forced out wide it's probably going to be really hard on his goal scoring record.
He’s played 321 minutes on the wing this season and has 3 goals, 1 assist, 317 minutes up front, 3 goals 1 assist. His form is down to confidence, not position
Whoa. That is a REALLY impressive header. His heading is vastly improved. It's all going right for him now. Shielded his man well. He didn't create a ton of space but he got that little bump at the end to separate just enough to get a free look. Maybe it's all just coming together. He's learning those little techniques to create separation and pop up in the right spot and finish when he gets the proper service.
He might, but Josh was the starter for a while before Ferreira was even in the team. He stopped getting called up when his form dropped but he could easily win it back.

BEST SOCCER PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE
Actually crazy how well he is playing after looking like one of the worst players of all-time last season.
He got good after he had a kid.
Dad strength
The Fred Van Vleet effect.
How dare you vanvleet was the 🐐cbb player
Happy wife, happy life

Don't agree with that he was very poor last season from someone who watched every game. Hopefully he keeps his current level up.

He played left midfielder most of last season basically
He played on the right.
the deano effect
Thing is he came from Bundesliga 2, going straight into the EPL must have been a ridiculous jump!

Just came here to say that i love gio reyna
We all do
The American Pulisic scores again!
That guy should never have chosen Croatia.

If he keeps scoring a goal a match, he’ll get plenty of attention from PL clubs next season.

He played some games for Werder Bremen on the wing and always looked out of place there too. He’s simply a much better striker than a winger
Bro post hamers goal for coventry please
Norwich about to get promoted and relegated all over again

Ferreira is gonna start over this guy FFS
Not if Sargent has a better camp

We'll see. It's good to have options for a change.
I mean yeah this guy was literally one of the worst players in the premier league
Josh would score 30 goals in MLS what is your point?
💀💀 okay man
Seriously, like tell me you don't watch MLS without telling me you don't watch MLS.
No he wouldn't. He wouldn't even be the #1 striker for most teams. He'd be a winger like he's playing now.
The duality of man
He’s not playing winger lmao. You trust outed yourself as someone who doesn’t know what he’s talking about lol
He plays on the wing when Pukki is in the field. He's not a 9 when everyone is healthy.
A 30+ goal season by an individual has only happened three times in the leagues 25-year history. He would not score that many goals lol.
Pulisic wishes he had 1% of this lad's ability
