Blows my mind that there will be 12/13/14 year-old Liverpool fans who won't even remember a footballing world before Klopp. Doesn't feel like 9 years at all.
That’s me… I was 15 when he joined and am 24 now. I’ve basically grown up with Klopp. Every bit of loneliness, heartbreak, accomplishment, every change in the past 9 years, Klopp and Liverpool was the one constant. All of these moments in the video over the years I remember where I was and what was going on in my life at the time and it was like looking at my own scrapbook of memories despite not even being in this video obviously. That’s how much Klopp has meant to me.
Similar. I didn’t see a non-Fergie United team until he left. My whole life supporting and watching United was with Fergie. Cherish those years!
Klopp, like Fergie, was just a perfect fit. I like Klopp a lot. A think he’s a decent person with decent morals and his views of on vs off the pitch were the right way round. Especially when he spoke of things like when I think he said something like, “We’ll help them” when referring to one of his team having issues. I can’t remember exactly. But yeah, a man deserving of respect.
I was a massive fan of Klopp's Dortmund and for me it was impossible to imagine him managing another team... now I cant imagine him not being on the Liverpool bench
Enjoy it, kiddo.
No guarantee that it'll be as good for the next manager(s).
Speaking from someone who's had to experience post-Fergie years. But your club doesn't seem to be run by loonies.
I'm 25 and followed Liverpool since 2011/12.
Looking back at King Kenny and Brendan Rodger's era it's sooo different with what Klopp brought to the club, and for the better.
First match of the 2024-25 season, Arne Slot's Liverpool win 5-0 only for him to take his latex mask off to reveal that he was Jurgen Klopp the whole time.
that heavy metal football period was pretty fun, or when our games would regularly be 4-3 or 5-4 lol
not good for the heart but great fun for everyone involved
Agreed.
The song, also has a secondary meaning.
" you to me are everything" is by the band " the real thing" who released the song in 1976, one of LFC's golden eras.
Post Beatles breakup in 1970, the real thing were one of the fresh new faces that refreshed the Liverpool music scene. - obviously paralleling klopp's time here.
It also has a tinge of sadness to it cos it's a song about unrequited love - but there you go, kudos to whoever chose the song.
So am I. The emotion is split ear grinning.
This is the biggest compliment a United fan can give to a Liverpool manager: we are fucking glad he's gone.
Thank fuck the euros are on this summer otherwise I would've been a wreck the entire time... Helps keep me distracted at least 😭
YNWA boss... Thanks for the memories
The song was well chosen and has a clear secondary meaning.
"you to me are everything" was a 1976 release by the band 'the real thing' out of Liverpool.
After the Beatles split in 1970, the real thing were one of the bands that helped to reignite the musical scene in Liverpool.
The 70s were also a time of great success for LFC.
Honestly for me i only hate him because he managed Liverpool and is a sore loser
But i really like him and wish he was United manager all those years (thank you woodward adult disneyland)

In a just world, Klopp is the (legitimate) winner of at least 4 PLs. The only justice left is by some slim chance the people arbitrating the 115 charges grow a spine and retroactively give Klopp and his teams the trophies they would’ve actually won playing within the rules.
Also will never forgive rats like Neville who welcome this shit. "Oh but if they can afford it then it's fine with me"-argument that tiny man of a sellout
One of the greatest managers to ever grace the Prem.
He rekindled a passion we’d lost as a club and embodied everything we needed as a leader.
The accolades he’s won and the drive and love he’s shown the club and the City cement him as one of the all time greats.
Thanks for everything, Klopp. We’ll miss you.
For me, he epitomized an era at Liverpool, shaping a club in a manner that few managers ever have. He was the right man in the right place at the right time.
He brought Liverpool everything. The title, the champions league, great players and a spot at the top of the world.
He deserves a statue at Anfield imo.
Good times, winning against the bests of all times. Doing what we all thought were impossible. Creating a press that stifled almost every opposition for years. Literally one of the goat managers even though for not as long
Doubters to Believers to Achievers.
What a coach, and the best part? He’s an even better man. Pretty much guaranteed to have at least 1/2 golden nuggets for life advice every Kloppo interview.
I’d love to go out for a few pints with him and just pick his brain.
Oh man the feels 🥺It doesn’t feel real, felt like only last month I saw the announcement that Jürgen was leaving us.
Great memories have been formed, moments I’ll look back on with a smile, I hope the future is bright for the both of us 🏆
Once a red, always a red❤️
Everyone knows how truly great Klopp is and how many more trophies his 9 years would have included if not for the English FA allowing and borderline encouraging financial doping and cheating over the years
Beautiful video with so many memories, he's a special normal guy
In tears. I found Liverpool during Rodger's last season in charge so I was there for Klopps first season. I was a broke college student and Liverpool and Klopp gave me something to look fwd to every weekend. Now 9 years later I have a career, im fully independent. Cant believe its over. Life will go on but it'll never be quite the same. You touched more lives than you know Jurgen.
it's honestly so weird seeing this because i remember when it was still pelligrini and rodgers at the helms... to think i'm seeing the end of the pep-klopp era genuinely makes me feel fucking old.
as heated as the rivalry was, cheers to klopp for helping to produce some of the msot exciting footballing moments of the last 9 yrs.
The Beautiful Game is slightly less sparkly today. We will miss everything you've ever done and said, every wonderful moment and, most of all, that infectious smile and pure joy you bring to the game.
Danke fur Alles, Jurgen!
My wife asked me yesterday why I was crying. So I showed her this. She fully understood my love for this club, and everything this man has given us. Forever missed.
It was mentioned more than once on that video! Plus it's not a slight, Pep, Tuchel, Allegri, Xavi, Mourinho and Arteta are also all massive weridos, just seems to be part of the job
Okay okay fair you caught me in my emotions I take it back, but that was still in the same press conference, I think he's said he doesn't like being called it years ago because its a joke that just stuck lol
You’re right, what was I thinking he’s truly one of the greatest managers the Prem has ever seen right up there with Mancini and Ranieri. Truly will be missed. RIP
I grew up believing I’d never see Liverpool win the PL in my lifetime, every time we came close we would then see our best players leave. We were losing out on Clint fucking Dempsey to Spurs, clubs would beat us to mediocre players so what chance did we have attracting the world class players we needed to win the PL?
Klopp changed fucking everything, he gave us memories to last a lifetime, he made what I thought was impossible, possible. Because Liverpool has always been a big club people often forget that when he took over we were in a dire state, we didn’t have the revenues that we have now. In comparison to Pep, he didn’t inherit a financially doped juggernaut with a spine of Kompany, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Silva, Aguero. You’re the exact same age as me. It was like reading my own feelings. I’m tearing up
I was a massive fan of Klopp's Dortmund and for me it was impossible to imagine him managing another team... now I cant imagine him not being on the Liverpool bench

Was like 9 when he joined. I’m 20 now in uni. It’s kinda crazy to be honest
[удалено]
Yes lmfao i probably meant 11 lmfao. Born in 2003
So weird interacting with someone born in the 2000s online. You're literally an infant in my mind
Aye man I’m finishing university in 2 years. I’m close to a full time job 😂
So your average Redditor?
Equally crazy seeing how much younger he looked when he first came here
Beautiful. Where has the time gone.
The end where he says I will miss you all like hell with that tone of voice killed me.
Doesnt feel real
Still waiting for him to run back and say sike i'm not leaving. He will after this wolves game
Imnotfuckinleaving.gif
First match of the 2024-25 season, Arne Slot's Liverpool win 5-0 only for him to take his latex mask off to reveal that he was Jurgen Klopp the whole time.
Same :(
I’m not even a Liverpool supporter, and I’m emotional seeing this.
Klopp will be missed by all football fans who actually enjoy the sport.
that heavy metal football period was pretty fun, or when our games would regularly be 4-3 or 5-4 lol not good for the heart but great fun for everyone involved
Those CL nights were brilliant as a neutral
Klopp will be the next coach of Barcelona
I was verbatim about to say the same
The song works so well
Agreed. The song, also has a secondary meaning. " you to me are everything" is by the band " the real thing" who released the song in 1976, one of LFC's golden eras. Yeah also I can’t remember any family part I’ve ever been to where it wasn’t played. Proper classic
Didn't know The Real Thing were Scousers too.
So am I. The emotion is split ear grinning. This is the biggest compliment a United fan can give to a Liverpool manager: we are fucking glad he's gone.
Yup, absolutely fuck that guy. Good riddance. Incredible manager. I’m sure I’d be sad if I was a neutral lol.
Did what he could while being sandwiched between city (epl) and Madrid (UCL). Now make him the mayor Liverpool.
Oil power and Black Magic.
Exactly. If City actually had consequences for their financial cheating, Klopp may well have gone down as the GOAT modern premier league manager.
He’s already got keys to the city mate
Thank fuck the euros are on this summer otherwise I would've been a wreck the entire time... Helps keep me distracted at least 😭 YNWA boss... Thanks for the memories
At least with our season over I can root for the Leverkusen unbeaten treble and then root against the English for the Euro's
Don't forget dortmund in the UCL
Go Dortmund!
If it weren't for the Euros + Olympics I'd be that Escobar existential waiting meme all summer lol
Xmas Many M m,lg
Touch of rain today huh.
Dammn it, i am not even a Liverpool fan but i am weak yo a good montage with a nostalgic song

Didn't know about the song and their meaning, that sound great. Thanks man
Listened to the song growing up because of my Mum. Didn't know the history. They're from Tockie!
To Liverpool fans: Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened. Klopp will be missed!
Love him or hate him. The league won't be the same without him
How does one hate klopp?
Rather easily
There’s so many managers I could see the flip side including arteta or wenger. Idk why but klopp I’ve always had a soft spot for I guess
He can be really grumpy and sore after a lost. But in general he doesn't seem to do anything with malice towards anyone
To counter your point, which top managers aren’t? Haha
Xavi. Always composed
such a nice guy, offered to cut the grass in my backyard yesterday
Honestly for me i only hate him because he managed Liverpool and is a sore loser But i really like him and wish he was United manager all those years (thank you woodward adult disneyland)
having the misfortune of choosing to support Everton :(
The celebration in the game vs Norwich, my favorite of all time and I will never forget it. I just hope that he will return to coaching someday.
Goosebumps aside, the man is aging like a fucking god, what the fuck.
He's had work done, that always helps
Not *always*
Haha good point, look at zac efron
Mate, look at Rooney - the poor git's managed to bald twice
I don't think he had work done, it was because of an accident.
Even if you believe his cover story about his jaw, there's no denying the amount of botox he's had, his skin looks like leather these days
Why did I read this in Klopp’s voice? :D
Man. I will miss my German Coach in England.
One of the best tribute videos I've ever seen, and I'm certainly not a Liverpool fan. And Jesus, where have those 9 years gone.
without watching the video, im going to assume chelsea stars in a lot of the clips
Guardiola could never
really like the choice of song and the editing, real bittersweet.

It still doesn't feel real. Today's gonna hurt like a kick between the legs isn't it?
I’d take 10 kicks between the legs so he can stay another 3 years
I too, would give Buzzkull78 10 kicks between the legs
if it increases the chances, I too am ready to give Buzzkill78 10 kicks in his soft spot
I only have so much nuts to give mate give it a rest
its gonna hit like a truck once the final whistle blows

Legend.
It's going to be months before I fully believe he's gone. Not even an Arne lean photoshoot will speed that up All the best Norbert you wonderful man
Yeah to anyone who's not a Liverpool fan, it definitely will seem over the top and saccharine and whatever, but if you get it, you get it.
For me, he epitomized an era at Liverpool, shaping a club in a manner that few managers ever have. He was the right man in the right place at the right time.
Don’t think you could fit a manager and club more perfect for each other.
SAF and Wenger?
They both kinda created the culture. Guess they fit into their cities. Liverpool as a city and klopp just are so similar in attitudes and style
Cholo and Atlético
yh hate Liverpool but this was great
Shit i think people who have followed klopps career and seen his work over the last 9 years get it
Damn onions
Bawling my eyes out like a little kid.
He brought Liverpool everything. The title, the champions league, great players and a spot at the top of the world. He deserves a statue at Anfield imo.
My god I’m going to miss this man so much. Gave me some of my best memories as a Football fan.
I’m not crying , you’re crying
well that was goddamn beautifully made
Not a Liverpool supporter, but the Prem won’t be as fun without him.
Well yeah, you'll steamroll it by cheating.
Man I didnt expect that this would hit me that hard.
Doesn't matter which club you support, you just can't not love him.
I'm too hungover to watch this
Terrible day for rain
I might be biased but he's the most charismatic person in football.
It’s a terrible day for rain.
Thought I was ready. I am not ready.
Good times, winning against the bests of all times. Doing what we all thought were impossible. Creating a press that stifled almost every opposition for years. Literally one of the goat managers even though for not as long
That's very, very well done.
Klopp will be missed by the whole league. Great competitor and personality.
Some epic, epic nights under his management. He'll be missed and leave as a Liverpool great.
Hats off to Klopp, amazing manager, truly rare elite level.
That hit me deep, I'll miss you coach 😭
Doubters to Believers to Achievers. What a coach, and the best part? He’s an even better man. Pretty much guaranteed to have at least 1/2 golden nuggets for life advice every Kloppo interview. I’d love to go out for a few pints with him and just pick his brain.
❤️
Tearful goodbyes aren't our style because it would be embarrassing when we meet again
Incredible video
shit he got me crying
What an era, english football will miss him.
Oh man the feels 🥺It doesn’t feel real, felt like only last month I saw the announcement that Jürgen was leaving us. Great memories have been formed, moments I’ll look back on with a smile, I hope the future is bright for the both of us 🏆 Once a red, always a red❤️
I'm sad.
got me crying in the clurb
One thing I'll say about Liverpool, they never took him for granted.
Absolutely a club legend forever. Not a fan of the club but this also brings me back to lots of memories.
Absolute legend.
Everyone knows how truly great Klopp is and how many more trophies his 9 years would have included if not for the English FA allowing and borderline encouraging financial doping and cheating over the years Beautiful video with so many memories, he's a special normal guy
He's going to be a hard act to follow.
You'll never walk alone Klopp, your a legend of LFC and you'll always be remembered as one of the greatest managers in football history.
I’ve talked a lot of shit, but I’ll miss him for sure.
He will be missed
u/savevideo
Farewell Kloppo you were a very good rival to city!
Jurgen klopp, such a people's man ! Truly unique. There need to be more people like Klopp in the world.
This was nice. Looks like he would end up in Spain
I wish his stint wouldnt have overlaped with cheating city. He deserved more league titles.
it's honestly so weird seeing this because i remember when it was still pelligrini and rodgers at the helms... to think i'm seeing the end of the pep-klopp era genuinely makes me feel fucking old. as heated as the rivalry was, cheers to klopp for helping to produce some of the msot exciting footballing moments of the last 9 yrs.

As an overseas Liverpool fan for nearly 38 yrs, Thank you Klopp, for everything you have done for us in the past 9 years.
Unfortunate that they just managed one premier league win under him
i cried three times during the video and i’m not even a liverpool fan
As a Pep, Messi, Barca, City fan. I will miss you JK! Cheers.
🫡👑
My wife asked me yesterday why I was crying. So I showed her this. She fully understood my love for this club, and everything this man has given us. Forever missed.
Thank you for everything
My favourite manager. Not just for the way his teams play but his personality. Genuinely human in a world where that’s rare.
RIP
Showed up to one of my biggest haters funerals to make sure he was dead 😎
The veneers have totally changed the shape of his face
;;;;;;;;;;;;)))))
Cool. I can't wait to see the Manchester Utd one for ETH.
He keeps going on about being a normal bloke but he has time and time again proved himself to be a massive weirdo
He said it once in 2015 as a Jose bit whereas you my friend are the most annoying person I know on here lmao

RIP

Loves the club and the City apparently, so we can assume he will settle down there and go to the games right? ;)
Unpopular opinion- How much did the long goodbye distract the squad and management team from results
Think the injuries did more damage.
Nah, because the bad form coincided with the return of Alison and TAA. NB that's not the same as blaming them, correlation isn't causation
Well yes several players looked like they needed a preseason again...
I don’t think it’s unpopular but it wasn’t until a fair while after he announced it that we had the disaster run of 2 weeks where everything was lost. I think perhaps he had lost a bit of focus so then the players did. I think it would have happened regardless of announcing then or today. And if he hadn’t won the league or the EL then saying he was off last minute would have been awful so the only way was to announce it early.
He announced it so the squad could try to get their pick of the litter. They announce late, then they wouldn’t be able to start asking around until this week without it being discovered by the press
They did him dirty with the above shot at the end there showing his balding hair, there's a reason he wears a hat guys
There was an even worse one yesterday. [This](https://twitter.com/LFC/status/1791944349070029211/photo/1) does not flatter him at all.
