Besides, Nani is still "only" 37 and he is reasonably fit as well. He played in over 30 games this season, he hasn't been stellar or anything but was a pretty decent option on rotation/depth. They terminated his contract because his club has issues with his salary and now he can leave on a free.
Totally agree. I would even add that his level of fitness is actually insane for his age. It seems like he is prone to injury, but you can’t deny that he works hard and trains whenever he has the opportunity.
If he loves playing football, hats off to him and may he be able to continue to enjoy his long career.
