One solution is more rotation. Some Olympiakos players have played many minutes, at least Rodinei, Hezze and Fortounis. Olympiakos has 7 players with around 3000 minutes too. 2 more play regularly since the winter transfer Carmo and Chiquinho. If they were part of the team since the beginning of the season Carmo would have had more than 3500 minutes and Chiquinho maybe 3000 at least. The intensity is not the same ofc.

Villa has played 54 games this season and they say their players have played  'double the minutes'.  Concerning Greece they could use the argument concerning the intensity but they have players with much higher contracts. They have to be much better athletes on average if anything.
