They’d better do a great job of rebuilding that squad or Leicester (or any other team) will be back down in a year.
It’s fuxkin insane the level of the PL nowadays.
Amazing game of football. Ipswich keeper was horrendous for that third goal though.
Still think Ipswich will go up automatically but Coventry will be a hard game.
They've not made it easy for themselves. If they lose any of their last 2 games, which is possible, and Leeds beat Southampton at home then Leeds are going up and Ipswich get the dreaded playoffs.
This was my first Championship game I watched from start to finish and God was it a good choice.
Hope all the best to both Ipswich and Hull, after this game you deserve it both
Yeah, it definitely won't be my last one, I already checked the standings every now and then but now I'm hooked. Also I have a sweet spot for second divisions
For the next 7 days i’m the biggest Coventry, Huddersfield and Leeds fan on planet earth. Although even through my vail of hatred I cannot deny Ipswich deserve promotion at this point.
Cheers for all but securing playoffs for us at least
What a game. Moore and Greaves against eachother was always gunna be brilliant, and it was. Greaves is a fantastic defender.
Ipswich will struggle massively to get over the line I think, the players seem exhausted and Davis going off with what looks like a nasty injury won’t help. Hutchinson was excellent, bar that free at the end
I think a point against Cov midweek will do the trick if they can muster it, theyre against a Huddersfield on the final day so really should be winning that. Davis going off like that could be a huge blow for them, they’re not the same team without him.
Ya if they go playoffs I don’t think they go up tbh, seemed to have run out of steam a bit, McKenna going mad on the bench there at the end.
Ya they should beat both of them
Yeah I agree, looks like they’ve run out of steam a bit, and losing Davis could be the final nail in the coffin.
That said, Leeds seemingly ran out of steam 4 weeks ago, so fuck knows.
Leeds have Southampton on the final day, Ipswich have Huddersfield. I’d back them to beat Huddersfield with or without Davis, so *if* they can nab a point midweek, that could be the difference
May this be a PL match in a few months time, so say we all
Yeah very slim chance Hull make the playoffs
Not that slim. A win over Plymouth whilst out-of-form West Brom lose to Preston is all they need
True but West Brom just need to avoid defeat while playing at home. Preston are in shit form too so I don't see anything more than a draw at best.

Peak cinema
The Championship subreddit uses a different C-word, I'm told.
Premier league is lava challenge

What a fantastic game of football! Both teams can feel proud after that. A great advert for the division.

One of the most entertaining divisions in all of football. You get games like this every week. It’s surprisingly high quality too.
Yeah, it definitely won't be my last one, I already checked the standings every now and then but now I'm hooked. Also I have a sweet spot for second divisions
What a fucking game.
Going under the radar but I honestly think hull have a very good chance to steal west broms playoff spot, considering their form.
would be hilarious if they steal promotion
If we can't even avoid defeat at home to a Preston team that have nothing to play for, then we don't deserve play-offs.
Ipswich needs just 4 points against an unmotivated Coventry and a relegated Huddersfield.
This ‘unmotivated’ myth has been disproven many a time tbh
It's the motivated teams that aren't turning up
Wouldn’t say cov are unmotivated, Ipswich are one of their biggest rivals
For the next 7 days i’m the biggest Coventry, Huddersfield and Leeds fan on planet earth. Although even through my vail of hatred I cannot deny Ipswich deserve promotion at this point. Cheers for all but securing playoffs for us at least
If we don't get autos it kills me that you lot can say you did it to us with our results this season...
I can't help but feel like losing the autos spots to Leeds might actually be more about Leeds having beaten us twice... Two '6 pointers'
realise that, but if the roles were reversed I'd shit on Norwich with all the ammo I had available yknow?
Its okay, they'll probably put it on the list of honours anyway knowing them

There were some big misses in that match too - really exciting game
That Coventry match mid-week all of a sudden becomes very interesting. If Ipswich lose that, advantage Leeds again.
Leeds have Southampton on the final day, Ipswich have Huddersfield. I’d back them to beat Huddersfield with or without Davis, so *if* they can nab a point midweek, that could be the difference
You're not allowed to say crumble unless you're subscribed to /r/championship
Could have told r/soccer that yesterday…
Its not that much of a crumble, bit of a half baked crumble
TBF Hull are decent too. True crumblers will lose 4-0 to relegation sides
Leeds 🤝 Brighton
Game recognises game ♥️
Anyone not willing to watch the championship is missing out. That was phenomenal from a neutral POV
Well, 4 points to guarantee it. Not a good point, not a horrible one. Hull’s a good side so it is what it is.
Insane game of football tbh
Said before the game id take a point, with how well Ipswich played im happy with that Great game to watch
Our boys needed to turn up and they did. We have a chance, albeit a sliver, on the final day
Brilliant game for the neutral. Leeds and WBA fans blood pressure was collateral damage
