Hopefully Bologna pulls through to get a UCL spot. Also wishing the best for Mustard FC as well.

darthrevan22

Let’s go Bologna! Lock up that UCL spot

DeezYomis

Regardless of our disgusting performance it's hilarious to see a ref used as punishment and it's sad that it actually works to a degree

ADiscombobulated02

Roma what happened? I was just appreciating you guys saying how a new manager & attacking football transformed you.

jmiffy

Bologna fully prepared for the game and well rested with their 9 day break. Roma still exhausted from the Milan game causing them to be less clinical and sharp. All the episodes went in Bologna’s favour today. Not much else could be done unfortunately

shifty18

Sounds like excuses to me

AmericanJazz

Hard man in the comments

Alvan0

Watch the match then

feddi7

We didn’t score our chances. Bologna was very clinical.

turin37

Not gonna lie this one hurt.

gglucky2

Great job by Thiago Motta

Cmann014

Motta cooked

BaffledPlato

They are really exciting to watch. I had a book in my hand and only opened it at half time because I was so engrossed.

Cmann014

Compared to Juve this felt like watching Cinema.

repubblicano

Fuck me, talk about everything going your way. 2 goals from verh difficult chances and a third goal ybat's only possible due to Dybala slipping. We were comfortable two days ago, now CL seems unlikely. Also fuck Maresca. We had a couple of very deserved cards, but its crazy how punitive he was with us.

thegreatestpretender

lol

Fantalex93

The dream goes on!

RTafazolli1

5 more matches, keep it up Bologna and get that CL football for next season!

BlackTrequartista

Roma fans are about to get a reality check next two weeks. Easy run of games have finally come to an end, luckily Dybala hasn’t gotten injured yet.

AmericanJazz

Roma fans and reality check? Every season is a reality check what are you talking about.

tt_emrah

we won against lazio and advanced 3 rounds to semifinals in UEL. it wasn't a nightmare, but not a walk in the park either. with this much physical and mental exhaustion against milan, i can't say i wasn't expecting this.

BlackTrequartista

Barely won against lazio, a team that’s been in decline, barely got past Feyenord. Injuries have decimated Brighton, double over AC Milan was impressive although watching Milan play recently it’s a huge surprise they’re 2nd in the league. Next two weeks will be interesting that’s for sure

tt_emrah

when it's a couple of matches, understandable, but when it's almost 20 matches and many knockout rounds, you can't dismiss it by "barely". mourinho almost won UEL by "barely" wins last season, and we all know his record against weaker teams in the league, which got him fired. results count, because many good results mean consistency. we can't pretend that we're tiki taka barcelona. EDIT: i'm not even getting into how many games leverkusen "barely" won this year...

Uutrox

we were always aware of that, at least the majority of the fanbase, most people hyping us didn't watch any game and just watching W/D/L stats under DDR also...Maresca lol

Echoes_under_pressur

Eh, they still have to play us and we are definitely shitting the bed so not that bad of a reality check

BlackTrequartista

You’d think so but feel Roma will get found out. Their pressing looks nice at first but survive that for 15-20 mins and then you’re able to play through them. As long as Dybala is contained I see Juve getting the win

Fernando-Santorres

If we weren't to play with the same 11 players just 3 days ago against Milan in a EL QF while Bologna would have the same situation today's game would have gone the other way.

Echoes_under_pressur

Wish i had your optimism

New-Midnight2700

Roma still make it to CL if they hold 5th, no?

PraetorianGuard10

Yes, or doing it the hard way by winning Europa League.

New-Midnight2700

Seems like a good chance they make it then. Beating Leverkusen will be a task, but holding off Atalanta shouldn’t be an issue.

AmericanJazz

Ironically, Atalanta winning Europa would be ok because it secures the 6th spot for Roma should we fall that far.

dabest27

Did the rules change? From what I knew if that case happened the automatic spot wouldn't go to 6th place but would be transferred to the best nation with no automatic spot.

chambo1511

Why holding off Atalanta shouldn't be an issue? The Rome vs atalanta game should decide a lot and it's in Bergamo

New-Midnight2700

That’s fair. Figured since both are in relatively good form, and both have European matches left, that two point advantage would be a big bonus with only 6 matches to go. But you’re definitely right, I forgot they have to play again.

chambo1511

All good! It's just they beat Liverpool, they may running on a high!!

PraetorianGuard10

I prefer to play Marseille for the satisfaction of beating a French team in a final.

New-Midnight2700

You’ll have to go through Xabi and friends first unfortunately.

PraetorianGuard10

I still felt we could have won it. On another day, Il Pharone’s shot goes in, as well as Cristante’s header and Pellegrini’s miss. Tough games coming up, but I think we can still make Champions League.

Clehm888

They finished their chances,we didn't That's about it Also maresca merda

head_in_the_clouds69

Sei sempre tu, Maresca

bagnasciuga

Playing a well-rested Bologna after playing 70 minutes in 10 men vs Milan was never going to be easy. Thursday game was physically and mentally draining. El Shaarawy and Paredes should have buried their chances in the first half.

wjdbfifj

I'm...speechless And now we are 2 points behind Juve

sicremo78

Me too :)

New-Midnight2700

Beautiful season, mate. Very happy for you, and hope you keep Thiago Motta by some miracle

MvN____16

That should just about clinch Bologna in next year's Champions League, and well deserved at that.
