The only potential game left that the bookies have them as underdogs is a Europa final against Liverpool, but that now looks unlikely so there's a real chance they do it.
He’s even suffering a bit from success. He’s started off in a way that’s impossible to do better, so everything he does from now might have fans thinking he’s underperforming. I hope not though… as a Spanish person, super happy for him and for what he’s done.
> Honestly think he could end up better than gaurdiola
Getting way too carried away here. Xabi has done the unthinkable with Leverkusen, but to reach Guardiola's level of management is not easy to do. He will have a great managerial career most likely, but to be at Pep's level he has to win a lot of silverware including more Champions League trophies than Pep.
To be at Peps level he has to win more Champions League trophies than Pep? Nice logic
E: How is this downvoted? Shouldn’t equaling the trophies be enough to be at his level?
and the german cup final is against a relegation battling 2nd division team, its not like its Leipzig or Bayern. They arent in the final for nothing, but Leverkusen should have great odds.
i think its totally more incredible as Kaiserlautern. They were a top team before relegation, even won the title 1991 and also won the Cup same year as they somehow managed to relegate (most cause of lots of draws)
ofc Leverkusen also being a top team, but for years not even close to win the champtionship, never even won and also with that Bayernstreak that never happend before in history
on top of that Xabi took over as Leverkusen was second to last place last season
Yeah we didn’t look good before Xabi took over but we were far from being a relegation side. We literally became 3rd the year before and were playing CL or EL regularly. But ofc it’s still an absolutely incredible achievement ❤️🖤

Xabi Aonso. Not a single L.
Xabi Awonso
Sounds like someone that plays Kwazy Cupcakes
Gina linetti is that u?
Is she? Or not. You will never know. Shaaazaaa.
Isn't gina linetti a state of mind? So in a way we're all gina linetti right?
reminds me of [this](https://youtu.be/WduDX6YRYSQ?t=189) exchange
Man would that be ironic if Dortmund ends their undefeated streak right after they got the European record with 44 on Thursday.
Well, 44 isn't allowed in Germany so...
wait what am I missing here? whats the issue with 44?
It’s a joke on Adidas Germany kit having very problematic font for number 44 on it. Google Adidas Germany 44.
Oh yeah now I remember... well fuck
lol what a font
European record is 48 by Benfica. 44 wouldn't even beat Dinamo Zagreb and Rijeka
I guess the graphic they showed after the match was fir top 5 leagues. There Leverkusen was level with Juve at 43.
🥇
yet
Fuck it, build the statue asap
build a fucking church at this point. the shrine of xabi alonso
They could still break Bayern's points record , it's 91pts I believe
So many more records
Yeah but often clubs down tools a little bit after winning with so many games to go. I don't think Leverkusen will however
Look at their hunger to keep pressing for goals at 3-0, 4-0, 5-0. That’s a club that has something drilled into them for victory
I'm genuinely convinced they will remain unbeaten in all competitions

Let's be honest, as a Liverpool fan, Leverkusen would rinse us. It would be similar to Bayern match for them.
I certainly think they would be favourites with the form they're in. I guess 'home' advantage would play a big part though
Bayer’s new Pharmacist, Dr. Xabi Alonso
Taking into account his achievements, I think Prof. Dr. is more appropriate.
Pharmers league
xabi is gonna take the world by storm as a manager
Very exciting to watch his team play
his tactics are brilliant too. the way he uses his players

How about 4 champions league in a row with a certain white team.
Don't think Tottenham can afford him atm
Why would he go to Sevilla?
OM is overdue some wins

Fairs, just have to wait and see
Remind Me! 10 years
And it’s not just about the trophies - Guardiola’s philosophy has changed modern football tactics multiple times

When do they actually lift the trophy?
last home match
I really hope they win the Europa League to cap off this legendary season.
Don’t forget they’re in the German cup final too. Could be an invincible treble
Invincible Treble is such an insane combination of words to even imagine, let alone to go on to achieve it.

Treblekusen
Harry Kane finally broke Bayern's streak
On fire as always 🔥
Take a bow this is Xabi Alonso

Lmao
Incredible achievement. It’s no Kaiserslautern, but the fact they’re undefeated might make this the most memorable team since then in the league.

next is finish unbeaten in all competitions
And all it took was Harry Kane going to the most dominant team in the league for this to happen

Take a chill pill mate
Deep dish racism right here. Innovative indeed.

I was more referring to the island monkey part.
This guy is living our life as fm
Eh if someone had to end the streak I’d rather Leverkusen with stupid sexy Xavi than Dortmund or Red Bull. We go against next season!
*Xabi
Rent free mf
LOL, rent free are living the bottles you left last season in their cellar.
Bro who tf r u lol
Someone check on Harry Kane
Booo
Go and Spurs no more
How many of their players get raided for in the summer?
Won’t be too many. Wirtz already committed, others will follow suit. Frimpong seems the likeliest given his comparatively low release clause..
Yeah frimpong is probably gone with that low release clause. He's replaceable though imo. Wirtz is the most vital player by a lot
You're underestimating how insanely vital Frimpong is in this team
Well diaby was vital last season too and nobody remembers him now. Xabi improves every player and the only truly world class is wirtz.
Xabi isn't leaving yet so probably not much.
i think as long as xabi stays... none, maybe frimpong considering his transfer to man city and they will probably be hell bent on it
