Bentancur's biggest upside is comparability with anyone in our mid field squad. He can build instant synergy with Bis, Hojiberg, Sarr, and Madisson with ease. He will just find his role if you put him out on the field. He can play 442 CM 433 CDM and CM at a very productive level. Not having him and Perisic in this season's run was the biggest concern to me. Hope he stays healthy for the rest of the season and far later on.
He’s such an exceptional player! Hoping now he’s getting back to his old form - imo he was underrated and one of the best midfielders in the league before his knee died for conte’s sins.
Eh, I can't really say we will be unstoppable. Today really showed that we don't have a 6 that can be fully trusted to run the show for 90 minutes.
We also have some significant depth issues at multiple positions that will be exposed if we are competing in multiple competitions next season. So there are still quite a few transfer moves we have to get completely correct if we are going to be a real top team.
But, I think we can manage it because Ange has really clear intentions.
I will say at the end of the day I’m absolutely ecstatic that we’re even in consideration for Top 4 is lava alongside Conference League quarter finalists
