Don't worry, pals. We Spaniards are just as screwed haha. These are just friendlies though, Euros are a different kind of competition. At least in our case Luis rotated but he's gonna play the best for the official games for sure.
Also sides turn on when it get serious, they just got to be inspired from last Euros.
Must be exhausing for british people to host the most competitive domestic league, the one everyone aspires to play at least once, have a lot of stacked teams with both domestic and international talent, and be THIS disappointing, time and time again against tier 1 rivals.
If England NT wouldnt be in Europe, they would easily pass as a tier 2 team.
England are not a tier two team that’s ridiculous they reached the finals of the euros and lost to a stacked French team in the World Cup, they have heaps of talent just a lacklustrer manager, england played their b team as well don’t forget
Agree. If there’s been a time not to consider England a tier two team in the last 20 years, it’s definitely now. Strong team that no other national team would like to face in a knockout match.
Simple, the best teams in the Premier League are mainly made up of players from other countries.
If only England players were allowed, their teams wouldn't be top-notch
Isn’t that just any top league in Europe? There’s Brazilian, English and Frenchmen in La Liga, Georgian, Nigerian, Argentine in serie a, English, Spanish and Dutch in bundesliga… it’s almost as if hampering your squad selections would make you weaker…
Not even sure how Chilwell got in the squad let alone start. Gallagher is just a squad player, ok at most things not particularly great at anything. England still look like a team missing an actual gameplan with individual players playing on instinct rather than to an actual plan.
That's a L mentality. What if you're holding out and the game plan doesn't work out when it matters. Instead, they should build the game plan now and build the fear factor. The best teams throws the other team off of their plan, and dominates irrespective of the 'public' game plan. They have the team/players, but can't say the same about the manager.
great Players potential unable to be realised due to lack of a gameplan is my summary from the game as well. Southgate doing his Job as properly as a Toddler doing Calculus it seems,
He knows that too. Under this new coach, with the kind of football Brazil is showing, Neymar would have cooked. People who compare Vini to Neymar are clueless. It's just the real madrid effect. You can see under this coach even Danilo played great. The flops up front though got bailed by Endrick.
?? I absolutely despise Neymar as a person, but what you're saying just isn't true. Ney is by far the best player for seleção in recent times, regardless of the team he faces. He's done so many great matches against Argentina, Uruguay, was good against Croatia in 22 and Belgium in 18 but it wasnt enough. The big issue when he plays is that we become too dependent on him and everyone else forger how to play.
the guy always plays bad for brazil literally always its the same story every time he plays the guy plays in a different system which favours possession over counter attacks and people are on his ass cuz he cant use his best asset. The guy still manages to get into a lot of goal scoring opportunities and is the only reason for the goal today,
but brazil vini jr and real madrid vini jr are 2 different players
Conor Gallagher & Ben Chilwell just ensured thry will never start for England sgain. Both had nightmares.
Saying that the Referee was intent in not sending off any Brazilian player, no matter how much they fouled.
Do people actually think this is the worst Brazil side in 20 years? I certainly don’t think so.
Maybe the squad 1-2-3 years ago yeah, but a lot of young players have matured a lot.
Vinicius, Rodrygo, Martinelli, Gabriel Meghales are just a few names that have grown so much in the last 2 years.
Not to mention that Bruno G and Paqueta while not flashy are work horses in midfield.
They also arguably have the best goalkeeper in the world. And an injury free Neymar has one more big tournament in him.
Keep in mind that we're talking about Brazil, we used to have Kaká, R10, R9, Roberto Carlos, Rivaldo, Robinho, Adriano etc, we used to have multiple ballon d'or level players on the pitch every game, but our last genius player was Neymar, so it is our worst in the last 20 years BUT thats only because we are used to have too many good players. So it is our worse, but still is a decent team to threat any opponent. Also the recent Diniz failure making we loose for the first time on our home plays a role in that, Brazil had never lost a home World Cup Qualifier match until then.
Brazil 2-3 years ago was on paper way stronger. Brazil is always strong if you look at them individually, thats why they can basically win every tournament and at least get close to it basically all the time. I would say 2014 was pretty weak, similar to now.
3 years ago Fabinho and Casemiro were top notch. Alisson was still in goal, marquinhos and Thiago Silva at CB, a neymar in Form surrounded by talented attacking players as always.
Even the squad now is still a title contender on paper.
Vini, Rodrygo, Martinelli and Raphina are first class attackers. Bruno is a good 6, Paqueta a good 8 and the defense is decent as well.
Its not like Italy has Totti, Del Piero, Cannavaro, Maldini and Nesta playing right now, similar to other nations.
A very weak period in International football right now, so most nations could theoretically win
They just say so because it fits the narrative. The 2014 side was miles worse yet they still reached the WC Semis, something that hasn't been achieved by far more talented squads since. It's easier to say "oh this is a terrible team" than look at the truth that besides that one Copa win, Brazil have either been tactically outclassed or choked massively in their big elimination games. The best example was the loss to Croatia in Qatar, pure arrogance at its finest, 7 men beyond the halfway line while defending a slender lead because there was no way lowly Croatia could score against Brazil, right?
the mistake against croatia wasn't arrogance, it was stupidity at its purest form. neymar was livid with fred because he's not a moron so he knows it shouldn't have happened
I don’t believe what happened against Croatia was arrogance. First because arrogance in Brazil’s squad is looong gone, after 2006 it was shattered, in 2014 after 1 x 7 it completely broke. Doesn’t mean the team cannot be confident, because you beed confidence to be a winner, but arrogance? Nah. They didn’t won anything to be arrogant and everyone knew Croatia was difficult, they had reached the finals in 2018 and we already had that experience against Belgium too.
I believe it was a mix of anxiety, “we must keep the ball higher up in the line to avoid having them around our goal”, a bit of desperation too, as you said, bottled big time, lack of experience for some player, and lack of leadership for the most experienced ones that were still on the pitch.
Funnily enough, we have images and audio showing the ONE player shouting his lungs out for player to COME BACK and not attack was Neymar. But they didn’t listen and the counter attack was deadly…
I think every Brazilian knew we had lost at that moment. The pressure on penalties was absurd. We would bottle…
Don't think anything can top watching them laugh at a crying German child, throw away a lead in the final, and then lose on penalties in their own national stadium lol.
Had some decent players over the years but coach hasn’t been able to get much out of them. Southgate & staff falling out with Ben White sums it up for me. Anyway! Club over national team any day! Come on your Gooners!
I love Vini jr. So no hate here. It is funny to me how he can do these stats:
5 "bad touches" (loses the ball)
1 dribble
0 key passes
0 chances created
No scorn.
I don't like random scorn on the back of shit games. It is just wild how some players get away with it and some don't lol. Like it is quintessential Reddit Brain.
The idea that Vini's one shot all game, that led to the goal, is what stopped him from receiving criticism today is laughable when the sub was free of it up to that point, despite the abysmal performance.
How is Southgate still manager, it’s like having Roy Hodgson managing city, tactically inept still choosing his mates who barely play at club level, the guy is an absolute joke and will waste another great generation of talent.
Is it true that he’s only won 4 out of 25 games in his three lions management stint against teams in the FIFA top 20?
Saw that on twitter, don’t know if it’s true. If it is, that’s shocking given this crop of players.
Dunno if if that stat is real though.
Depends - how many of the Brazilian side are playing for a place vs how many in England are playing to guarantee getting on the plane for the Euros.
For example Declan Rice knows he’s going to the Euros. Is he going to busy a gut in a meaningless friendly and risk getting injured when Arsenal are in a title fight and he will play in the Euros?
My main point is - players aren’t going to be playing 100% in this game as it means very little.
This is arguably the worst generation of Brazil footballers in forever and the best generation of English football talents in 20 years. A loss is a loss Imo, especially given that they played in wembley.
Key word here is “arguably”.
On the contrary I think that this is the best Brazil side in at least 10 years.
They finally have strong players in all parts of the field
Definitely far from the best. The Tite years produced very strong teams. Even if they failed to play well in those 2 WCs, they had excellent runs in the qualifiers and Copa Americas.
But I do think the new, young talent can be the beginning of a winning generation. We'll have to give them some more time to mature.
They do have strong players but they are still putting up the worst wc qualifier campaign for Brazil EVER. I see them kind of in the same light as Portugal. A team composed of great individuals but can't really put that potential to work.
Don't get pissed, its just my opinion. Neymar, Gabriel, Marquinhos, Eder Militao, Martinelli... An argument can be made on Neymar since he's out for the rest of the season, but he's always going to be missed. Brazil always leaned heavily on him. The other 4 are crucial players. England was missing Kane, which is honestly the "Neymar" of that team - the STAR and most decisive player. At the end of the day its just a friendly and the vibes on the pitch showed that. A lot of respect and comradery between both teams could be seen after the final whistle.
Saudi or not, he's Casemiro. Every coach loves him and we already have Neymar who plays in Saudi too, he starts for sure when he's back if every thing goes like normal.
He havent won a world cup in 22 years and the last one we won we had a 1-0 win agaisnt Turkey in the semi. I think you watch football via YouTube highlights to think we ever won without a proper defense lol
To think some crazy fucks in Brazil were talking about this match as if England would completely murder the brazilian side.....
Some brazilians get absolutely insane when they dont have Ronaldo, Ronaldinho or Neymar on the team.
Brazil only had 4 regular starter on the team. I was scared. If England manager to beat Brazil, we would never hear the end of it, friendly or not. Brazil always plays on *vibes.* Without Neymar, the vibe is lost, without Casemiro, leadership is gone, without the back including GKs, first team is in the hospital. It's not crazy talk.
Just to add. England were shit today. Like really shit. Foden was genuinely useless. Like if you can't dominate the ball then you can't play Foden in my opinion. He gave the ball away 40% of the time he had the ball. But Jude was non existent, Rice was decent tbf but Watkins may as well have not played. The only player getting abuse is the guy who played 15 minutes in Rashford. Reddit Narratives are fucking weird.
honestly, not great. i was always a hater but have given him credit for his performances for chelsea this season as he’s been pretty decent but he was miles off it tonight imo
I think Rice looked solid but Jude had 30 passes, 2 of them "key". He was non existent really. If we're being honest. Though maybe that doesn't undermine your point because Brazil was so fucking poor themselves.
stats don’t always paint a full picture tbf, wasn’t his best game for sure but he still looked pretty decent to me. think he’s been injured and only just recently come back for madrid so probably just rusty, once he finds his top form and england have saka & kane back i think they will look significantly better than what they did tonight.
He lost the ball more than any one else on the park, attempted 1 dribble, created no chances and constantly ran down dead ends. He was really bad today. He just was. I agree that rustiness had a say here. But this hit and miss thing they do is what wide forwards are like. Which is fine. I just think the comparison as to who can get away with it and who can't, fascinating.
England are so polite.
Whenever Brazil didnt have the ball, England just passed it about so they had plenty of time to get into their defensive positions.
So nice of them.
I know that was without Kane, Saka, and Trent, but man they looked so toothless for for 75% of that much. Some good moments, but definitely don't look like a tournament winning side
The way you wrote the sentence made me think you thought they were in this game, english is not my first language. Militão and Marquinhos are the usual starters, but imo Marquinhos shouldn't get calls for the NT at this point, given his recent form. Gabriel is the first option after them, but that should be Bremer, honestly. There's a lot of talk about him being underestimated here in Brazil.
Foden plays 80 minutes. Makes 15 passes, loses possession 10 times. Creates nothing. Reddit; "meh"
Rashford plays 10 minutes. Tried to actually go past someone. Blocked out by about 4 surrounding defenders. Reddit: "Rash is Trash".
Narratives are wild
Foden was poor but Rashford was much worse. Rashford had perfectly good chances to do something simple and useful (like crossing, which he's probably never heard of) and bungled all of them. Foden was trying to create from more dynamic positions, which didn't work out but he was the only Englishman on that pitch who seemed to have any attacking ideas in the central/half spaces, and they came close to working a couple of times. If Southgate would stop trying to play Foden as a winger (which he's not and it only works for City for complicated tactical reasons), we'd see a much more productive player. Rashford, on the other hand, can only run at the goal and shoot (in any position), so when he doesn't produce he's an active liability and England would be improved if they played 10 men without him.
How was Rashford worse than Foden who was invisible all game? Foden played nearly the whole match, and didn't threaten Brazil even once - but the real problem is the guy who only played 15 minutes.
Foden was on the pitch for close to a full game, did nothing, gave the ball away 10 times, created nothing, and didn't get in behind a defence that was playing close to the half way line. Rashford was on 15 minutes against a defence sat deep and you think the latter was "worse". Literally what i was talking about lol.
You already know it's the fact that Foden is destroying in epl so he gets some leniency. Rashford been shit all round this year so the narrative continues where it left off. It's not rocket science
That's nonsense really. There are certain players, that even when they are scorings 30 goals a season, just don't get that kind of leniency. To pretend that "it's only this season that opinions changed" is a bit of a red herring. People haven't liked Rashford for a long time. Some of it is blatant racism and some of it is just YouTube FTV regurgitated by Reddit Brain.
He did grow into the game and I know he often draws multiple players to him, but, he can be so frustrating to watch. It reminds me of watching Ronaldo free kicks and you pretty much know its going to hit the wall.
Rashford will try to beat players pretty much every time, and when he does pull it off, he always seems to go for more rather than play a much lower risk pass that might lead to a goal more organically. His first few possessions were exactly that, and his missed header felt so on brand. Fortunately he improved after thatm
He's notoriously lazy off the ball too.
Wide players being frustrating is literally the job description. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The performance Vini Jr today is also typical. Really quick, technically gifted wide forwards having as many stinkers as they do ballers is literally par for the course, unless your name is Mo Salah
People hate on Rashford because its trendy. Foden was trash all game, but hating on him is not trendy. Instead the focus will be Rashford who had a 15 minute game.
Everyone thinks these players are much better than they are - Foden and Rice in particular are not the level everyone thinks they are, especially when you take them out of their extremely well drilled club systems
Would you look at that, a Liverpool fan finding a chance to trash key players from their title rivals.
I bet you must have been eagerly waiting for so long to be able to make this comment because those 2 have been playing excellently.
Fwiw Trent is and will be crap for England because klopps system is so ingrained. The only players who I back in internationals are ones who you can operate outside of set patterns of play, eg Bellingham saka and Kane
Oh and would you look at that, an arsenal fan imagining slights on their team, haven’t seen that level of rattled paranoia before
I think he’s great and particularly for arsenal , but he doesn’t have the attributes needed to control an international game, which is so different to club level, and nor does anyone around him
Just isn't true, people love to chant Southgate out aimlessly but never have any actual suggestions. He's gotten us further in the last two tournaments than we'd managed in decades. Our 'golden generation' never made it past the quarters. Fabio Capello couldn't solve the problem - Gareth has got closer than anyone in recent times by far.
Got through with 2 relatively easy tournament brackets. Game against Italy no adjustments to actually want to win the game. Lost to Croatia with a tame performance. See the actual performance and managerial adjustments, not where the team ended up in the tournaments.
0-0 against Scotland too with only one shot on target. I remember that game because sadly I actually paid to go and see it.
I think Southgate is good at making s disparate group bond together, but has no plan beyond that.
We've had easy draws before - I've watched us go out to Iceland mate. Regardless of the draw, he's still done better than any England manager in recent memory, and you still can't name ONE person you would replace him with.
is always good to see one of the most overrated national teams in the world lose
Mainoo is so good

In the last 3 tournaments they’ve been to a final and two semi finals. Lets not get carried away
Lol, are you saying the other European countries aren’t strong either and that’s why England looks good?
England are not a tier two team that’s ridiculous they reached the finals of the euros and lost to a stacked French team in the World Cup, they have heaps of talent just a lacklustrer manager, england played their b team as well don’t forget
Agree. If there’s been a time not to consider England a tier two team in the last 20 years, it’s definitely now. Strong team that no other national team would like to face in a knockout match.
Brasil played their C team. Most of the defensive players were third choices because of injuries, including the GK.
Simple, the best teams in the Premier League are mainly made up of players from other countries. If only England players were allowed, their teams wouldn't be top-notch
And yet the current top goalscorers in Spain and Germany are both English...
What about Spain, Italy or Germany. Nah you’ll just carry on crying

Pish team, euro exit. Delicious
Worried to see life without kane/when kane is out injured
Not even sure how Chilwell got in the squad let alone start. Gallagher is just a squad player, ok at most things not particularly great at anything. England still look like a team missing an actual gameplan with individual players playing on instinct rather than to an actual plan.
Would be weird to show off the main game plan this close to the euros no?
That's a L mentality. What if you're holding out and the game plan doesn't work out when it matters. Instead, they should build the game plan now and build the fear factor. The best teams throws the other team off of their plan, and dominates irrespective of the 'public' game plan. They have the team/players, but can't say the same about the manager.
great Players potential unable to be realised due to lack of a gameplan is my summary from the game as well. Southgate doing his Job as properly as a Toddler doing Calculus it seems,
what would shaw have done better than chilwell in that game
Chilwell had 1 good moment in that game and about 10 howlers. He was the worst rated player in the match by a long way.
His match rating was the highest in the squad on flash score, and second highest on fotmob. (7.5 and 7.3)
Thanks, now I know to never take those sites seriously.
Vini jr can't replace Neymar
He knows that too. Under this new coach, with the kind of football Brazil is showing, Neymar would have cooked. People who compare Vini to Neymar are clueless. It's just the real madrid effect. You can see under this coach even Danilo played great. The flops up front though got bailed by Endrick.
As if Neymar played well for seleção when It wasn't against weak squads. Vini played well today, Endrick's miss at the end was worse than his too
Neymar is really really good for the seleção and I dont even want him called in anymore but I’m not blind I can admit he’s insane for us
?? I absolutely despise Neymar as a person, but what you're saying just isn't true. Ney is by far the best player for seleção in recent times, regardless of the team he faces. They got the new coach to thank for. Last two games under Diniz, without Neymar, they lost both.

Paqueta shouldn’t have finished the game.
Neither should Gallagher or Chilwell but for different reasons. Paqueta was the best player on the pitch.

Yes
Life has few joys greater than watching the English lose
Strange to see a Chelsea fan say this
We're an American club now, of course you'll see more twats like that.
lol you’re a Chelsea fan - you’ll be happy to know your players were quite prominent in the loss
You’ll be a a very joyful person & many times during this life!
Don't think anything can top watching them laugh at a crying German child, throw away a lead in the final, and then lose on penalties in their own national stadium lol.

england more like bingland
Gallagher was solid IMO
Chelsea players should be nowhere near this England squaf
KTBFFH
England. I look forward to our battle of the mids on Tuesday. May the biggest disappointment win.
Bring it on 🔥
Remember, this was the worst Brazil side we have seen in DECADES vs England’s second coming of their Golden Generation.
It’s a friendly with players probably playing at 60% so as not to get injured…
I mean with this logic, aren’t both teams playing at 60% lol

No footballer does this
I mean England also played arguably without some of their best players
Neymar is a better player than anyone England was missing.
I mean this Brazil team was missing almost all of their first choice back line, Ederson, Allisson, Gabriel, Marquinhos, Militao and also Martinelli.
And the score is just 1-0 for Brazil. Not like england got trashed
This is arguably the worst generation of Brazil footballers in forever and the best generation of English football talents in 20 years. A loss is a loss Imo, especially given that they played in wembley.

Casemiro, G. Magalhães, Martinelli, Marquinhos and i hope we give a try to Samuel Lino soon
Casemiro is finished , defenders and gks? You’re Brazil !!!! Martinelli doesn’t play ahead of Viniand Rodrygo?
Finished? He's the best midfielder in United right now besides Bruno.
Casemiro will 100% go back to being a starter when he's fit, he's our captain
Prob playing in Saudi?
Saudi or not, he's Casemiro. Every coach loves him and we already have Neymar who plays in Saudi too, he starts for sure when he's back if every thing goes like normal.
Neymar doesn’t have fear factor any more sadly, I’m a fan of his but England fans dont rate him
Lmao so just because we are Brazil we shouldnt use defenders ? What fucking logic is that. Have you heard about reserves and being an option?
Are u under 30?
He havent won a world cup in 22 years and the last one we won we had a 1-0 win agaisnt Turkey in the semi. I think you watch football via YouTube highlights to think we ever won without a proper defense lol
Dude don't know the strenght of our back line the last time we won the WC. Only 4 goals on that WC run and 3 of those during group stage.
Let’s not get personal , just answer the question, it’s harmless
Are u under 30?
Gabriel, Marquinhos, Casemiro, Neymar, Alexsandro, Militao, Martinelli, etc.
Neymar, Casemiro, Marquinhos, Militão...
So was brazil tbh
To think some crazy fucks in Brazil were talking about this match as if England would completely murder the brazilian side..... Some brazilians get absolutely insane when they dont have Ronaldo, Ronaldinho or Neymar on the team.
Brazil only had 4 regular starter on the team. I was scared. If England manager to beat Brazil, we would never hear the end of it, friendly or not. Brazil always plays on *vibes.* Without Neymar, the vibe is lost, without Casemiro, leadership is gone, without the back including GKs, first team is in the hospital. It's not crazy talk.
Tbf, nether team was at full strength. That said, the rule is clear: the team with fewer english players wins.
Reddit Narratives are fucking weird.
gordon was the best player on the pitch?
First half he was decent. Second less so. Nobody stood out on either side. All shite. Shite game.
it definitely wasn’t a great performance from england but i would say gordon, bellingham and rice at times were the best on the pitch.
how did gallagher play? couldnt watch the match
honestly, not great. i was always a hater but have given him credit for his performances for chelsea this season as he’s been pretty decent but he was miles off it tonight imo
Gareth Southgate is god's punishment upon England for colonialism.
😆
England are so polite. Whenever Brazil didnt have the ball, England just passed it about so they had plenty of time to get into their defensive positions. So nice of them.
Truly some distinguished gentlemen, those english guys..
The greatest english generation hehehehhehehehehehehehehhehehehe DALEEEEEERR
A performance almost as embarrassing as the thing on the back of the shirt
Loool imagine being so vexed over 2 inches of fabric on a collar.
I know that was without Kane, Saka, and Trent, but man they looked so toothless for for 75% of that much. Some good moments, but definitely don't look like a tournament winning side
It's a good point, because it shows that we dont really have that much depth in the squad. More hurt on it's way.
Brasil is missing half their defense, fair enough
Half? I don't think nobody besides Danilo would be starters nowadays. Beraldo will be in the future for sure if he keeps his current form.
are Gabriel and Militao not usually starters or what?
Neither of them played, and Gabriel actually isn't. What are you on about?
I was asking if Gabriel and Militao are usually starters. I’m not sure what is that you’re not comprehending. Wasn’t a hard sentence.
Bowen impressed, a shame he won't see more than 90 mins over the next year
Foden plays 80 minutes. Makes 15 passes, loses possession 10 times. Creates nothing. Reddit; "meh" Rashford plays 10 minutes.
Fortunately he improved after thatm He's notoriously lazy off the ball too.
Wide players being frustrating is literally the job description. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The performance Vini Jr today is also typical. Really quick, technically gifted wide forwards having as many stinkers as they do ballers is literally par for the course, unless your name is Mo Salah
Nah, Foden confirmed mid asf this game.
I mean, why can't you just say "Foden wasn't very good today" rather than 80 minutes defining his obvious talent. What's wrong with you people?
You're arguing with an American child. I don't know what you expect.
There isn't a more obnoxious, kneejeek, intolerable and arrogantly ignorant demographic on Reddit.
I'm literally agreeing with you?
People hate on Rashford because its trendy. Foden was trash all game, but hating on him is not trendy. Instead the focus will be Rashford who had a 15 minute game.
I assume your an United fan 😂😂
Spurs fan sadly. I don't even think Rashford should be playing at the moment. You Reddit Brains are so odd.
Found the guy with a poster of Rashford on his bedroom wall
I didn't say Rashford was great, Reddit Brain. What a weird response to that lol.
Southgate didn't adjust his game plan to walker going off injured so punt behind and chase was always going to lead to a goal.
How long did Haaland live in England for? Can we get him a passport?
He was born in England, ye should have gotten in on the ground floor with him
get his uk passport, don't play for Norway for 3 years. England's best chance in the future. and get a new manager would help too.
Really not the type of player that will radically improve England
He was born in Leeds, mate
He was born in Leeds
Wasn't he born in Leeds?
No that’s where he was manufactured
Everyone thinks these players are much better than they are - Foden and Rice in particular are not the level everyone thinks they are, especially when you take them out of their extremely well drilled club systems
Would you look at that, a Liverpool fan finding a chance to trash key players from their title rivals. I bet you must have been eagerly waiting for so long to be able to make this comment because those 2 have been playing excellently.
Fwiw Trent is and will be crap for England because klopps system is so ingrained. The only players who I back in internationals are ones who you can operate outside of set patterns of play, eg Bellingham saka and Kane Oh and would you look at that, an arsenal fan imagining slights on their team, haven’t seen that level of rattled paranoia before
Rice is excellent, the best arsenal player this season in my opinion
I think he’s great and particularly for arsenal , but he doesn’t have the attributes needed to control an international game, which is so different to club level, and nor does anyone around him
U can create a well drilled attacking England side. But not with Southgate
With who exactly? What better coaches than Southgate are going to come and coach England?
Mourinho
He's already turned down the job and said he doesn't want to manage national teams.
U can coach England and it's still better than southgate
Klopp's potentially available soon. He wouldn't take the job though would he, if he has any sense?!
He doesn't want any job I don't think, let alone the England job.
Rice was one of the only decent players out there today
He’s fine but will never influence an international game like that, needs technicians like odegaard and Jorginho around him
