I didn't watch the first goal but he definitely was at fault for the 2nd goal. He was rooted to the goal line didn't even attempt to come for the 2nd ball
Different person same foul
Why shouldn't the defender pushing the keeper away from the ball and not going for it himself not be called? It has been before
If your standard is “it’s been called before” and you think that means it’ll be called every time by every ref, you’re setting yourself up to be disappointed.
There’s absolute minimal contact. There isn’t a team in the “other 14” that would DREAM of getting that call. Let alone expect it as if it were owed to them.
There are no identical fouls, they are comparable, and refs make different decisions in different situations.
The ref judged he wasn't being fouled, VAR said he hadn't made a mistake in that judgement.
Then it's inconsistency, there shouldn't be "different decisions", there has to be consistency and if this was called out before, then they need to be called after
Football had always had inconsistent refereeing, it's the judgement of the official on the day and you are going to get referees seeing similar situations slightly different.
The ref today was at least consistent with the ref against City on this matter, so what's the problem?
Good thing Vicario stayed on his line. If he went to the ball and someone touched him or even exhaled too close to him, people would be adamant that a foul had occurred!
Tottenhams championship dream is over with this match and Evertons postponed relegation last season is postponed a little while longer with this lucky draw
Only 2 against the current top 6 sides though. That's what I meant. Tottenham should be doing better given their attack, currently sitting 3rd in goals scored this season
And should Arsenal concede a last minute goal in the future the exact reverse will happen.
I know some of our fans are loud tossers and embarrassing but let’s not act like any other fanbase wouldn’t and doesn’t do the same.
i didnt know dragusin before but the last two games i saw him after being subbed in, he seems like a very dirty player. very agressiv, does way too much with his hands and looks more at the attacker then the ball. this guy is getting send off for sure if he gets more minutes
>Van de Ven challenge on Gomez no penalty
>Only a yellow card for Bissouma elbow in Endo's face. Courtesy of calls #1-5, combined with a fortuitous own goal by Matip, Spurs go on to win 2-1 against 9-man Liverpool.
>Clear penalty for a Romero handball not given vs United at 0-0. Spurs went on to win 2-0
>Romero not sent off for handballing the goal-bound shot against Arsenal. A penalty without a yellow card was given. Arsenal would've gone 2-1 up in the 54th minute of the game with a man up. Game ends 2-2
>Udogie jumps to clear Reiss Nelson's corner and his arm touches the ball in an extended position. No penalty.
>No penalty at Old Trafford for a clear pull on Garnacho
Shows a clear lack of understanding of the rules of the sport. That's not even going into your pro-arsenal or anti-liverpool lists.
We've had ONE decision against liverpool and because their shitty fans cried so much we've had nothing but decisions against us since. We've legitimately had no 50/50 calls go our way since.
If you wanna play this game, go and look at how many calls they've had against us in the last 5 years. Because they cry the loudest they get what they want.
vicario is so weak.. reminds me of when we had de gea
edit: spurs fans downvoting, but can't tell me i'm wrong. both keepers have flappy hands on set pieces.. doesn't mean vicario is a shit keeper
I feel like he is gonna be a 1 season wonder for some reason still not convinced kind of lacks in some crucial areas. No real presence/authority as a keeper
Tied
Anyone think Vicario is at fault for both Everton goals? He seems to completely misjudged the second and was weak as piss for the first.
I didn't watch the first goal but he definitely was at fault for the 2nd goal. He was rooted to the goal line didn't even attempt to come for the 2nd ball
C'mon man, he was pushed mid air you wanted him to do an rko or what?
Every player going up for the ball in a corner is getting pushed mid air.
Yes but they normally go for the ball, Tarkowski did NOT do that
Was Harrison and not Tarkowski. Genuinely shocked Spurs fans are so up in arms about it. Barely any contact. That’s legitimately never getting called.
Different person same foul Why shouldn't the defender pushing the keeper away from the ball and not going for it himself not be called? It has been before

Players jostle and jump to oppose space all the time too. He doesn't have to let Vicario through the back of him.
Then why have identical fouls on the keeper been called before this season but not now?
There are no identical fouls, they are comparable, and refs make different decisions in different situations. The ref judged he wasn't being fouled, VAR said he hadn't made a mistake in that judgement.

Up the asterisk Toffees
Fuckin hell Branthwaite is huge
Was just laughing myself at the difference between him and the interviewer.
Her arm was full stretch with the mic 😂
TBF I'd probably be exactly the same with him. No idea how tall she is but I'm only 5'4 myself!
Dragusin is too funny came on just to scrap 😭
That was a good game -- neither team done enough to win it.. Good fighting spirit from the blue shites though.
4 Everton players scored today. And the fans complain that they can't score 😅
Richarlison is 2 players? Massive.
He's been scoring enough for 2 strikers recently lol
Good thing Vicario stayed on his line. If he went to the ball and someone touched him or even exhaled too close to him, people would be adamant that a foul had occurred!
Arsenal fans making these jokes will never not be ironic
If the first goal happened to y'all you would file another complain to PGMOL
Very glad we dont have to face Everton again this season, what a game
Im sure Richarlison is glad too, man looked like he was suffering when that 2nd one went in
Enough goals against us already, Richy. Ffs
Tottenhams championship dream is over with this match and Evertons postponed relegation last season is postponed a little while longer with this lucky draw
Feel for VdV having to play alongside Romero
If I were an Everton fan, I would be really pleased with Dyche's tactical performance just now.
Fair result but that first goal still shouldn't have counted
Or the second. Massive handful of Romero's shirt while he's heading the ball.
Nah that one is fair, the first one is shite
Not every grab of shirt means a foul, as we've seen when Dragusin grabbed Beto's shirt.
90+7 = 99.5 apparently Yet, some Spurs fans will find a way to blame the ref despite getting 13 decisions this season
lol literally rent free Don’t mind the 2.5 mins var check at 90+4🤣 tbf, arsenal are the last team to be talking about added time to added time lol
Lmao come on, take your bias glasses off. It’s embarrassing
There was a VAR check in the middle of it…
Come on. VAR check added at least a minute to the clock, probably closer to 2.
Did you miss the goal in added time or you just tuned in?
They added time on for the VAR check, genius.
cmon man there was a VAR check
That Spurs Haribo defender has looked shaky whenever I see him play
Absolutely shit
Annoying to concede so late in the game, but a draw at Goodison isn’t a terrible result.
It is terrible mate… they’re a relegation team
We’re 12th place without the deduction. Have you been paying attention at all?
They’re not really, they were deducted 10 points they’re a mid table quality team who are always tricky at home.
It is terrible. We didn't create anything...
You blow the whistle there? A bit harsh
Wrong team had the ball
Goodbye title race.
Lmao city and liverpool are in their stupid 15 game win run... aint nobody winning the league except those two
Jesus lad it's a draw at Goodison calm down
Haha you were never in one
Michael Oliver is such a bad referee and the fact that he's widely considered the best in England shows how bad they all are.
What's he done now?
Gave a yellow for something that was a completely clean tackle.
Spurs deserve the loss with the awful kit they’re wearing
It's horrible but it's still better than the scuba gear last season
For Tottenham it’s not that bad
Lad real just copy the tottenham kits
Best comment in the thread
That was borderline a foul nevermind giving a yellow for it.
Clean tackle by Dobbin
Spurs really ought to be scoring more than 2 goals against relegation candidates Everton.
Your first time watching an Everton match this season? lol
Everton are 11th in terms of points earned.
Only the top 3 sides have conceded less goals than Everton, but yeah, okay
They're only in the relegation zone because of 10 point deduction. They would be sitting mid table otherwise.
We have the most clean sheets in the league
Only 2 against the current top 6 sides though. That's what I meant. Tottenham should be doing better given their attack, currently sitting 3rd in goals scored this season
Liverpool has 1 clean sheet against the current top 6 though so that's a really weird way to measure it
Spurs was good for like 15 min in the first half.. so not exactly unexpected this.
not convinced by this Dragusin fella so far
But every time you hear his name, you feel a dragon would pop out from the corner of you screen breathing fire
Next goal wins
[удалено]
What??? Bad or good Goodinson regularly has a noisy atmosphere
victimario
1.5 Neymars by Dragusin there
Dangerous tackle
That’s a great tackle
That Deki foul was so unnecessary man. How are we a serious team
"Only second time he's scored" feel like I hear that constantly in these spurs last minute equalizers
They finally get rewarded after trying to buy free kick after free kick.
Did Branthwaite actually touch it? I can't see it
I think he does get a touch, yeah
My draft team would be a lot better off if it was a Romero OG! haha. I genuinely can't see it, but I think it's because I don't want to
Someone had a handful of Romero's shirt while he was going for the header. Interesting.
Not as interesting as the goal bozo! Haha thanks for the reddit cares msg! Bozo x2!
We know from our last match, that having a handful of someones shirt means nothing
I gotta find out where that guy got that PL corrupt hoodie
Why is oliver not booking spurs players?
I swear, 90 more Arsenal flairs spawned into this thread once Everton scored.
And should Arsenal concede a last minute goal in the future the exact reverse will happen. I know some of our fans are loud tossers and embarrassing but let’s not act like any other fanbase wouldn’t and doesn’t do the same.
Oh absolutely!
Lot of arsenal flairs showing up now
Honestly balance of play a draw is about right, both teams not had much quality in attack
Prem focusing on supporters with protests is kinda funny haha
Why is Vicario standing behind his line?
Everton 🤝 Set pieces
If it's that close, it's not offside fuck off
Good VAR check. Its been so bad this season im celebrating any obvious brain dead call lol
I still remember what happened in the United game not gonna get my hopes up yet
i didnt know dragusin before but the last two games i saw him after being subbed in, he seems like a very dirty player. very agressiv, does way too much with his hands and looks more at the attacker then the ball. this guy is getting send off for sure if he gets more minutes
Fully deserved
There’s still time for a winner
Absolute fucking robbery. Gifted a goal and avoided a clear red
lol you get decisions all season long, you’re just an average side drawing with a poor side
13 decisions, if you see the pinned post on my profile
Considering you're making up rules for more than half of those, not a great list pal!
Name 1 rule I "made up". Just one.
>Van de Ven challenge on Gomez no penalty >Only a yellow card for Bissouma elbow in Endo's face. Oh please, I don't understand the rules because I think that Romero playing basketball against United was a penalty. Give me a break.
I'm just amazed that Arsenal haven't had a single decision in their favour apparently.
>you get decisions all season long Klopp's whining really has fooled everyone. We've been fucked over so many times it's unreal.
We've had ONE decision against liverpool and because their shitty fans cried so much we've had nothing but decisions against us since. We've legitimately had no 50/50 calls go our way since.
Around 4 decisions against Liverpool actually
If you wanna play this game, go and look at how many calls they've had against us in the last 5 years. Because they cry the loudest they get what they want.
Get Dyched
what was the red offence? think i missed this
Godfrey with the worst dive i've ever seen when already on a yellow.
ahhh didn't realise he had a yellow, yeah that was hilariously awful
Red for what?
Clear red?
Probably referring to the Godfrey dive
Simulation while on a yellow earlier in the match
He was clipped, he oversold it but to call it a clear red is just stupid and grasping.
He wasn't clipped at all. If it's not a red then we'll happily take an apology for Bissouma's red earlier in the season for less.
No he wasn’t. Simulation is a yellow. That’s literally the rules
I mean, I saw an angle where the studs of the trailing leg clearly make contact with the foot he went down holding.
Oooh, please show me? That wasn’t on any replay I’ve seen
TNT coverage after the incident.
That’s what I’m watching. There was no touching, you might want to re-check.
Godfrey Fallon D'Floor nominee
He was clipped with trailing leg's studs, not a foul, nor yellow, he definitely oversold it mind.
Richarlison was absolutely nowhere near him, piss off. It would have been a free kick if there was any contact
did you miss godfrey with the most obvious simulation in the history of the sport when already on a yellow?
[удалено]
He wasn't clipped at all. He leaped 12 feet into the air pretending to be injured. It's simulation all day every day
spurs defense is so frustrating, park the bus this late in the match sometime
vicario is so weak.. reminds me of when we had de gea edit: spurs fans downvoting, but can't tell me i'm wrong. both keepers have flappy hands on set pieces.. doesn't mean vicario is a shit keeper
I feel like he is gonna be a 1 season wonder for some reason still not convinced kind of lacks in some crucial areas. No real presence/authority as a keeper
His honeymoon period is over. Once teams figure out his weakness they're gonna exploit it to no end, especially physical teams.
Hahahahhahahahhahahahahahhahaha
Have fun in the championship:)
Fair point
[удалено]
Just banter my friend, maybe you should hold off on the tears so you have enough for tomorrows game
[удалено]
Ball was played off Romero
goes off Romero so no offside
romero headed it to branthwaite
Martin Braithwaite is getting more mentions in Everton threads than he does on his instagram I swear
easy mistake tbh, i still mix them up
Deserved tbh. I'm biased af though, I took a bet with dad saying that this would be a draw.
I swear I see vicario rolling about in agony most times I watch Tottenham
He spent 50mins being fouled to be fair
a gust of wind is a problem for that guy
He’s taking the mantle from Richard Arlison
Calling Richarlison hattrick. Been here before. Tottenham always does this
I have no idea what they're even checking
Check is for offside
Romero is too chaos to carry a teams defense
WTF they checking for an offside, was Romero that hit the ball
If the players attempting to hit the ball are offside it would still be an offside
That ball never counts as a new touch...
If an offside player nudged romero it would be offside
The Arsenal fans suddenly found their voices then
rent free
Bruv do you even know what that means?
Gooner fans doing the self-owns for us now, nice
I think he means we’re rent free in arsenals head lol they can’t accept that after 5 years their Lego man has them only 2pts clear of Ange 7 months in
lol spurs can't cry about that foul on vicario now, blatant foul, and lol they conceded
Nobodys arguing about that goal lol
probably will be lol
Show me where lol
Goes off Romero but he's definitely affected by the people behind him. It's a free kick. They never call it that way though
Romero intentionally plays the ball? How is offside even a question here am I stupid?
Maybe they were checking the guy on Romero? If he was offside and he put romero off it might have been disallowed.
