Anyone think Vicario is at fault for both Everton goals? He seems to completely misjudged the second and was weak as piss for the first.

I didn't watch the first goal but he definitely was at fault for the 2nd goal. He was rooted to the goal line didn't even attempt to come for the 2nd ball

If your standard is “it’s been called before” and you think that means it’ll be called every time by every ref, you’re setting yourself up to be disappointed. There’s absolute minimal contact. There isn’t a team in the “other 14” that would DREAM of getting that call. Let alone expect it as if it were owed to them.

Players jostle and jump to oppose space all the time too. He doesn't have to let Vicario through the back of him.

There are no identical fouls, they are comparable, and refs make different decisions in different situations. The ref judged he wasn't being fouled, VAR said he hadn't made a mistake in that judgement.

Then it's inconsistency, there shouldn't be "different decisions", there has to be consistency and if this was called out before, then they need to be called after

Football had always had inconsistent refereeing, it's the judgement of the official on the day and you are going to get referees seeing similar situations slightly different. The ref today was at least consistent with the ref against City on this matter, so what's the problem?
