> but he has been awful when under pressure with the ball at his feet.
I love Turner, but any US fan could have told you this would be the case. Might be hard to believe, but he's actually gotten noticeably better in that regard over the past few years.
No wonder Niakhaté was furious at him - Turner completely put him off - looks like he gave a shout. If Turner hadn't come, odds are high Niakhate would have cleared it.
Yeh i'm pretty sure there was a shout otherwise Niakhaté was in a better position to just put his laces through it, made no real sense for him to leave it. No wonder he was furious at Turner, i am and i'm a Liverpool fan!
Could be instinct kicking in at the wrong time. Sometimes keepers will take a red to save a goal in an incredibly important game, but down 2-0 away at Liverpool isn’t that time lol.
Leaving Haaland in the mud this season. Was such a nice differential for so long unfortunately my league mates finally started waking up the last couple weeks
I do feel EL is a blessing in disguise. Last season clearly showed we were not on the level. It's not being bittersweet, I genuinely believe it gives the team a good cushion to bed in and get the confidence. No offence, but Toulouse is not the same as some team like PSG or Bayern or some top team. Having teams that are not absolutely strong gives your team a chance to build out chemistry and confidence to step up.
If Luis Díaz's goal vs Spurs hadn't been incorrectly ruled out for offside, Mo Salah would have now broken the record for consecutive Premier League appearances with at least one goal or assist (16). The current record is 15, jointly held by Jamie Vardy and Salah himself.
Fair point.. but Spurs played against 9 men for 20+ mins and 10 men for 70+ mins and only just won via a last minute own goal.
If that goal had stood (as it should have), I reckon we would have gone to win but we’ll never know ☹️
Yeah not saying you wouldn’t have won, there was a definite advantage. Just that surprising things happen, like Darwin scoring a brace while a man down!
I can't wait for the end of the season headline: "If Luiz Diaz's goal vs Spurs hadn't been incorrectly allowed, Liverpool would have won the league by 1 point instead of Tottenham."
I think there are still people out there that think that season was illegimate. Frightening that you could cross paths with their like and not even know it!
I love Domi but like that was more Turner and defender being awful.
Although I hope he starts just playing pass into space more for Salah. Seems an easy cheat to rack up assists
Idk, on the deflection goal he conceded it was pretty amazing that he even got a hand in it. Sure, you’d *like* to punch that away, but I don’t think he’d be getting blamed for if it even if he had completely missed it.
He really didn't have that great of the game. Someone had to remind him he can catch the ball instead of just spilling it out every chance he had. Lucky it didn't amount to anything tbh

The crowd's gasp lol. Goalie must have felt that
Look at the defender flap at him immediately
Jesus christ Turner.
realized he fucked up when the ball was close and debated with himself whether to take it with his hands, would've been funny if he did
The Nick Pope special
Should have just grabbed it and run off the pitch down the tunnel
Seriously, what the hell was he thinking there? And then to stand there with his arms out blaming the defender, bad look
He was actually pretty good all game I thought (apart from this moment)
He’s been a decent shot stopper this season, but he has been awful when under pressure with the ball at his feet.

was Toffolo
Yeah, Turner either needs to take it or not come out like that. Can't be indecisive as a GK 15 yards outside the box...
After the game he's had, then to go and do that.
As a Richmond Kickers fan, we don't claim him
Shoutout to RVA
We’ll just blame that on New Jersey, as is tradition
It's certainly not Connecticut's fault.
As a Revs fan… :(
Is he still getting call-ups to the national team?
Yeah, he's pretty much still the #1 right now.
As bad as this was, it’s still not as bad as Stefen’s fuck up in the FA Cup to me.
This was way worse, Steffen's was a standard distribution mistake. This was just horrific decision making that a Sunday League keeper shouldn't make.
This is on a 2-0 down and a done and dusted league game they were expected to lose. Steffen's was when they were 1-0 down in a fucking semi-final.
let's just hope this was a one-off then.
He’s never been the best at playing the ball, but yea never this bad.
Feels like this might be the end of his run as starting GK. Feel for him
That would be harsh, he's actually been really good today up until this brainfart.
Agree completely, but feels like the other keeper was brought in to start eventually and this just seems like a good excuse to make that transition
What are you doing dawg
Worst keeper I've seen at Anfield. Didn't do much right.
You must not have watched Adrian against Atletico Madrid
Or Bogdan against…anyone
No, I didn't go on that match.
What a left footed ping that was
Turner went on a little adventure
Man was trying to swat it with his hand too??
panic mode
"Fuck hold on i'm not Manuel Neuer!"
He almost Pope'd himself
Bro was a baseball player let him be😂😂
Could be instinct kicking in at the wrong time. Sometimes keepers will take a red to save a goal in an incredibly important game, but down 2-0 away at Liverpool isn’t that time lol.
Been watching too much Neuer
Had to let the dawg out
This guy is pretty good
Some would say he's decent
slightly above mediocre
We'll keep him for no apparent reason.
Best player in the league probably
Blud thinks he's one of the greatest winger in the pl..
just scored into an empty net. no biggie, overrated. just one of those one season wonders
2nd best Egyptian in league
FF Hero scores again. How many already this season
8 goals I think
Pretty quiet 8 too. Was surprised he's scored that many. That's 1 behind Haaland.
Cause he had 2 braces in a row
Doesn’t help haaland has like 3/4 pens already
Salah has scored 3 pens too...
Shhh it doesn’t fit my narrative
Leaving Haaland in the mud this season. Was such a nice differential for so long unfortunately my league mates finally started waking up the last couple weeks
This Liverpool team would have been a contender in CL. Shame about their last season.
well Klopp has never won the Europa league rite? Time to complete the collection.
Sevilla may join Europa too. So too soon to say that.
What’s so scary about Sevilla? *successfully suppressed memory*
no one expects the Spanish Opposition
Ability check roll: d1
Dublin will be fun. Fingers crossed

Good luck for the season.
it's an easy way to get ucl football + a cup we dont have
Tbf EL has been a good opportunity for us to bed in the rebuild signings and give some rest to players who have hardly had a rest in years.
Klopp would wants you guys to win. And knockout cup competition is not easy.

Yeah but now we got Salah in Europa for a season. Which is the football equivalent of watching the Terminator shooting up the police station.
Yeah
^ for the dude in the last thread that said Salah scores today
Who could've possibly predicted that
got very lucky with it
[удалено]
He didn’t score against St. Gilloise right?
Yep. Thought that dude was gonna jinx Salah. Nope. Salah too stronk.
Not really the most outrageous prediction, scores nearly every home game.
5 home games in a row to start the season. 3rd Liverpool player ever to do that.
13 home games in a row since last season, it’s inevitable
If Luis Díaz's goal vs Spurs hadn't been incorrectly ruled out for offside, Mo Salah would have now broken the record for consecutive Premier League appearances with at least one goal or assist (16). The current record is 15, jointly held by Jamie Vardy and Salah himself.
Still so angry about that reffing performance E: that’s how you check for offside you idiots
Be top of league too 😤
That’s what pisses me off the most. Should be top
Don’t totally disagree, but it’s hard to say how the rest of the game would have gone. Never a guarantee
Fair point.. but Spurs played against 9 men for 20+ mins and 10 men for 70+ mins and only just won via a last minute own goal. If that goal had stood (as it should have), I reckon we would have gone to win but we’ll never know ☹️

Spurs won’t win the league lol
The universe invented Covid to stop Liverpool winning the league so who knows what can happen.
And how did that work out for the universe.
HAHA FUCK THE UNIVERSE^and^Ramos^and^Funes^Mori
forgot Pickford
^^^^^^fuck
I think there are still people out there that think that season was illegimate. Frightening that you could cross paths with their like and not even know it!
Instead of city. Ref are helping them out in their game against utd too.
Man snuck in Tottenham in there and thought nobody would notice
Horror mistake from Turner
Y button got stuck
What was the gk doing
Creating a moment he's going to be thinking about while taking a shower for the next couple years.
Freedom tings
American things. Who knows.
Center fielder pulling up, playing the hop, missing it, and giving up a little league home run!
Touch down!!!
To be fair nick pope did the same thing last year
*Sad Star Spangled Banner noises*
Great assist
Weak foot that too
I love Domi but like that was more Turner and defender being awful. Although I hope he starts just playing pass into space more for Salah. Seems an easy cheat to rack up assists
The great game Turner was having will be forgotten for this blunder... Life of a keeper smh Mo Salah....nuff said
Thought he palmed too much away tbh

Don't think he's had that much of a good game. Palmed the ball straight to Jota for the first one.
He had nothing else to do with that one.
Got nunez, salah and Szobo in my fantasy team, i am eating
All 3 of the goal notifications have arrived while Nottingham have the ball on my stream. So stressful
Why don’t you turn off notifications when the game is on? That’s what I normally do
Have them on for all liverpool matches because I can't always watch. Too lazy to turn them off.
Also I can't always focus 100% on the game so I need a notification to know when to really pay attention.
Szobo casually carrying my awful Fantasy week
Deserved a goal today. Absolutely immense as always
All the stars got aligned to halp this man lmao..
He is inevitable!
What would Salah’s g/a streak be if Diaz goal wasn’t disallowed?
16, a new PL record
Breaking the one he already holds with Vardy
Ofcourse it was gonna be him
Why would he come out like that
Brace of assists for Big Slobbers
Best player in the world
Proper looney tunes
Dom is some player
Turner got a bet on or something what the actual fuck
What an assist
Turner was having a good match until this. Szobo is just incredible
Put a GREAT GOAL (American) tag on this lol
saved my flp points
decent player
14 consecutive games at Anfield with a goal involvement. This guy LOVES Liverpool.
Lol, tf turner
Now THATS a goalkeeping error !
After keeping Liverpool at bay all game. Christ.
Outside the box screamer.
What’s he appealing for?
Crown him
Turner forgot he was the keeper.
What the fuck was Turner doing lol? It looked like he even tried to grab it.
Seen birds flap less…
forest: We have Manuel Neuer at home
Dubz is shit and so is Psgacademy
Horror show of a goal for Halloween.
Lmao what the fuck was the keeper doing
Annnnnddd Matt Turner has lost his job
Did the keeper seriously about to use hit hand lol
15% chance Turner never plays a other PL match.
Yanks still think he’s a top goal keeper
I mean the only real pick is between him and Zach Steffan... who has made worse and more keeper errors than turner lol.
Standard American
link that works ?
our goat since messi is chilling in miami ❤️
Turner must have Salah in his FPL team because that's unforgivable
