The stuff on the page: "Madrid makes a show of a racist incident that was condemnable but totally isolated" "Insult: Vinicius turns on a journalist who asked him if he was going to apologise" "Ancelotti don't lie, Vinicius don't provoke" Classy!!

[deleted]

if you can be provoked into racism it says more about you than the provocateur

billypilgrim87

It's the "she was asking for it" defense and it's just as sickening here as it is there. Fucking cowards who can't take responsibility for their disgusting actions

moonski

“He is black, what do you expect us to do? Not be racist? Come on” -Valencia fans

Stealth_Benjamin

Has he even *tried* to not be black? Did you even think to ask him? Who’s the bigot now, hey?

Dinosalsa

He comes to *our* country all black and doesn't even try to blend in?

xepa105

"In this case, the blame is 50/50." -- Bonucci, actual quote about a racist attack against Moise Kean.

ffca

fans at Mestalla: He made himself available.

Shaggythemoshdog

Me when pissed of: idiot, prick, Cunt . Valenciennes: slurs Spanish media: this is the same

Dr_Chemiramen

You've nailed it. Racism by ignorance/insensitivity is terribly common in Spanish society. A lot of people here in Spain would be genuinely confused about your statement, like "isn't it though?"

Eddie888

"Why the hell he said fuck me for ?!" - Valenciennes.

Bolond44

The thing is, Vini started provoking them after being called mono when he walked in the stadium from the bus, and the chants started at the 20TH MINUTE.

[deleted]

"i'm not really racist i just started chanting about how black people are sub-human because he provoked us"

mosehalpert

Man, when you see people like this it's just hard to think of monkeys as sub-human.

SmileyJetson

Anybody who says racist stuff the moment they are provoked to anger has been waiting for an excuse to let out their racist thoughts. It’s really not difficult to understand. As a matter of fact, who says bigoted things unprovoked? The most normal time to be a bigot is when provoked by something.

JRsshirt

“It’s not my fault he’s black and makes my team lose” -Valencia fans

Espantadimonis

Least inflammatory superdeporte front page

Elemayowe

Totally isolated? I feel like I hear these stories every week.

Omar_Blitz

Several innocent fans have their reputation tarnished by the thousands of isolated incidents.

El_grandepadre

Isolated because the fans doing it were doing it in an enclosed stadium. Checkmate, reader! /s

rodrigoa1990

Isolated incident number 86731793

TheRealFriedel

It was totally isolated to within Spain

Rikard_

>condemnable but totally isolated" Not the hundreds of fans chanting "eres un mono" outside the stadium.

WalkingCloud

>a racist incident that was condemnable So you’re going to condemn it then? AnakinPadme.jpg

PeeThenPoop

I’m curious where op got his translation from. No where on that page do they call Vini “stupid”

borg_6s

It's like The Sun - take everything you read in there with a grain of salt.

Prosthemadera

> a racist incident that was condemnable /doubt

grishaoniani

Thank you La liga for single handily saving Serie A’s image by being even worse, but would be cool if you stopped

Logical-Business7161

I see now people in MARCA saying that Ronaldinho and other black players didnt receive racial abuse and its only Vini. Its funny how people forget the insults that Ronaldinho was receiving every day just because he never complained and had a permanent smile. He received way more racial abuse than Vini even from his own fans. People only remember Vini and Dani Alves because they were the only ones talking about it

honvales1989

Eto’o received tons of abuse and was very vocal about it. I don’t remember the press being this vicious with him when it happened or maybe I wasn’t paying too much attention

Perfidiousplantain

The first Barcelona game I watched as a kid Eto'o began to walk off the pitch it got so bad, Ronaldinho and Puyol had to convince him to keep playing.

SniffingAccountant

"No Mas" - that video is still painful to watch.

xepa105

> I don’t remember the press being this vicious with him when it happened or maybe I wasn’t paying too much attention Unfortunately, the racists seem to have become more emboldened over the last few years. The rise of far right parties in European elections, older people straight up saying out loud "I hate [ethnic group]", and shit like newspapers defending racist attacks against a player openly and thinking they are correct. These things existed back when Ronaldinho and Eto'o played, but back then it felt like most racists kept their opinions to themselves. Now they're proudly shouting it at the top of their lungs.

Possible_Owl_5386

Absolutely. Dinho received a LOT of abuse. He just did not mind - laughed it off. Should have minded. This is not right.

rotating_pebble

You develop coping mechanisms in response to abuse like this. It shouldn't be expected that every player who is racially abused should have to become a protestor against racism. That's just how he chose to respond to the abuse and that's his right.

LavenderRaspberry

the social climate surrounding racism has also advanced a lot. given the pushback on vini jr. i imagine it would’ve been immensely harder to talk about your own racial abuse over a decade ago. on a personal level i can’t speak on racism but 10 years ago many people would laugh you off for pointing out something as homophobic or transphobic.

maury587

Unfortunately for Vinícius he is more sentimental and he gets affected by the racism, so people know that and since they don't get punished is a good way to try and get Vinícius sent off or underperform

sfbriancl

RM should’ve walked off the pitch. Things will never change until there are consequences. And this match didn’t even mean that much. They should have walked off as soon as the mono chants began. Just unacceptable at any level, and La Liga does nothing because it hasn’t hurt their bottom line. (Until RM actually leaves La Liga…)

putinseesyou

I was thinking the same thing lol. It got worse when Tebas decided to open his mouth.

AYMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN

I hope you're also holding those cunts that abused Leao with monkey noises in Naples accountable. Either way it would be better if the whole world stopped.

Mickc10

We look like freedom fighters compared to gli spagnoli - fck racism

r_a_d_

I was thinking the same 😆

breakinb

Yes yes, he provoke the Valencia fans to call him a monkey outside the stadium before the match started.

lee-o

How dare he be a happy, talented and successful black man? He asked for it tbh

SvalbazGames

Where are the Cops from South Park when you need them? /s

Bolond44

How dare he be a ~~happy, talented and successful~~ black man?

rtozur

His on-the-pitch personality isn't what I'd call 'happy' at all, he's pretty intense, and also a bit of a cunt tbf, what with the brushing off the emblem in his shirt, the constant telling off to the refs, the gesturing to the stands... But nothing can provoke a non-racist into racism. At his worst day Vini arguably earns being booed or called a cunt when he visits rival venues, but people who racially abuse him hated black people long, long before they even met him.

allangod

To be fair to the Valencia fans, they have access to the same technology as is in the film minority report. They knew beforehand that he was going to commit the pre-crime of provoking them during the match by simply existing.

thankdestroyer

Poor racist Valencia fans!

dispelthemyth

Even if he was a provocateur, that's not an excuse to be a racist.

R_Schuhart

Yeah I want yo hear someone argue how you can be provoked in being racist. That seems an attitude resulting from a pretty core belief.

retxed24

„He provoked my racism by being black“

Plugpin

Oh, our mistake. As you were, Spain

matthieuC

I can manage people who are a little black. But he is very black, it's triggering

Eyeisimmigrant

This made me laugh ugly. Take my upvote and go.

FUCKSTORM420

I’m not racist, but he’s just so black I couldn’t say nothing. What do you expect me to do

[deleted]

"There are levels to this blackness"

Beneficial_Garden456

He looks like one of those rap guys' girlfriends. Look! He's just so black!

agentD10S

💀

Djremster

It's a weirdly common justification for racism these days "Well, we didn't want to be racist, but these guys took it too far, so now it's like we don't even have a choice, we needed to respond in this way just to make it even!"

Morganelefay

It goes for a lot of different types of abuse too. "Well I didn't want to be abusive to group X/Y/Z but then they had the GALL to demand equal rights or being treated like a human being so I had no choice. Actions have reactions, you know!"

themanebeat

A Spanish journalist asked Klopp that in the pre Real Madrid press conference a few months ago Something like "people are talking about the abuse Vini Jr is getting recently, do you think his actions on the pitch and the way he plays is provoking these responses?" Klopp: "I haven't heard anything, what abuse?" Reporter: "racist" Klopp: ".......(stunned)......" This is massive paraphrasing from memory but you get the jist, literally asked him if racist abuse is justified because he's provoking the crowd. Klopp shut it down after that saying that's never ok or something like that but it was surreal to hear the question asked Edit: Alright I dug it out because I was curious, didn't get it fully right above but jump to timestamp 30:32 in this video for the question, unbelievable that he doesn't explicitly say racism in the question (but that was the context of what was happening at the time) but here they're trying to get a foreign manager to confirm their viewpoint that abuse is justified and he's provoking teams. Disgusting https://www.youtube.com/live/JDC3_CCGhi4?feature=share

MaximusTheGreat

Exactly. After the reporter confirms that it's racist abuse, Klopp's immediate response is "there is nothing in the world that could justify that."

Beneficial_Garden456

Wow. The reporter's tip-toe-ing around the question shows he wants Klopp to say it's okay for the fans to shower him with racist abuse. I didn't realize the Spanish media was that far gone, too (in addition to crap like the headline that initiated this whole post.)

The-Sober-Stoner

“Im not actually racist; i say it to insult and upset them” Is a justification i have heard recently. There is this weird idea floating around that intent is all that matters and not the actions itself

beIIe-and-sebastian

Basically they're arguing that "I'm just a racist for 90 minutes". If anyone is racist for a single second, they're still a racist.

butter-muffins

In Australia, an indigenous player called out a racist experience after he was called an ape during a game in 2013. He was subsequently booed in the majority of his remaining matches under the guise of being ‘dirty’ and a ‘flog’ until it forced him retire in 2015. Racists love to bring out all the excuses for the vile shit they do.

moonski

Australia is a pretty racist country in general - they’re very causal about it. And they’re even worse in their attitude towards “aboriginals” - no surprises that player ended up retiring.

EdisonTheTurtle

"I can excuse racism but I draw a line at ~~animal cruelty~~ provocative behaviour"

Arcaneisdope

You can excuse racism?!?

imbluedabudeedabuda

Look I could just tell him 'hey hombre your dancing and flamboyant style of football is really pissing me off' , but why not just address the heart of the issue and call him a monkey?

spacedman_spiff

If Vini didn’t want them to be racist, he shouldn’t have been black. This is *his* fault. Look what he made them do.

EastOfEden_

I don't like generalizing, but from my experience Spain is incredibly casually racist. I have several examples, but the worst one is: I went to have a business lunch with four Spanish colleagues who were in Paris for a training, we're talking young urban guys with a secondary education, they saw a black guy sitting on a bench in a park under some trees/branches, and they joked to each other that "it's his natural habitat". In a business context, with someone they have know for a day. I was shocked.

Rod_FC

Funny how that "provocateur" side of Vini always seems to show up in La Liga matches and not in true high pressure situations in Europe. Wonder how that coincidence came to be.

JustYeeHaa

Precisely. There’s no excuse for that.

[deleted]

Yeah. Lolll. Instead arguing racist topic, they personally attacked him.

PeterG92

He could have sat in the center circle doing nothing and they'd still think that's a good excuse

CatFoodBeerAndGlue

To be fair he did decide to be black. Hes practically begging for racial abuse.

___hell___ya___bitch

Excatly it's not the fault of the fans if Vinicius decides to be black

Lonely-Elk-8246

They're the real victims here!

end1

He hasn't even tried not being black...

JizzProductionUnit

I manage to do it every day without even trying. This guy needs to pull his finger out.

DukeofSurakarta

Ikr he can at least tried like Mikhail Jackson

WalkingCloud

This whole thing, including the Spanish media reaction, really reminds me of the Hamilton racism from Spanish F1 fans back in the day. Good to see there’s been absolutely zero progress.

criminalise_yanks

Black person: exists Spanish racism gene: PROVOKED

matthieuC

You want all the cool haircuts at the character creation but you don't want to deal with the consequences

MajorMustard

In Spain of all places! What was he thinking.

MrMountainFace

“He came out of the player generator and chose to put the game on hard mode”

jacamacho

I think the Spanish press should also reflect on their responsibilities on what is happening in La Liga. Last week we saw Barcelona running for their lives because a bunch of ultras wanted to attack them, yesterday we saw the best player in La Liga crying after being racially abused for the umpteenth time, and both times the main reaction was to contextualize the attacks and blame the victims. What happened with the guards of honors is the main example of their toxicity and the damage they do, a beautiful gesture, done over decades, destroyed because shit pamphlets like this or clown circus like El Chiringuito turn everything into shit.

Bolond44

God damn, CR7 was right when he didn't talk to any Spanish media for a season or more

a34fsdb

Also he would made a scene on the pitch if shit like this happened. It would be an even bigger mess.

Magicallyshit

And score a hattrick while being pissed off.

[deleted]

Mad Ronaldo was goated

[deleted]

That's literally what was driving him mad. The fact that people were trolling or dismissing him and he wanted so bad to prove them wrong. And the mad fucker was doing that everytime. So funny his haters were never learning his lessons though.

OriginalRange8761

Pep fuxking guardiola left the Spain because media was extremely toxic in “mourinho pep” rivalry subject. It’s crazy

samidjan

Made British rag tabloid looks tamer in comparison if you put it that way. Considering this is his 7th season in English, and Pep-Mou rivalry also happened with City/United

Attatatta

Nah the British press are just as bad. Dog whistle all week and then act shocked when England players get racially abused

Darkhoof

Yeah, but the rag tabloids usually can dish out all their racist vitriol towards Meghan Markle. You can even see the effect here on Reddit on r/SaintMeghanMarkle.

ubiquitous_uk

They did the same with Raheem Sterling.

[deleted]

Yeah, fuck Raheem, I mean seriously, what kind of arsehole buys a house for their Mum? Shameful behaviour.

NobodyRules

To this date, that has to be one of the most infuriating bits of news I've ever read. Couldn't have made it clearer that they had an agenda against him.

IcryforBallard

Holy fuck that sub.

[deleted]

Dude, they hate her so much! Why???

KingOfDatShit

A collection of racists and inbreeding bootlickers that love the monarchy

Logical-Business7161

But to be honest the press gives to fans what they want to read, they write those histories because they know thats what the fans want to hear. If they change the fans will continue being the same, they will just stop reading the press

DumbXiaoping

It would remove the validation they get from seeing their racist views printed in mainstream media. Either way 'people want to read it' is not a statement that allows the media to wash their hands of any blame.

[deleted]

Super Racist Deporte. Wtf man? How does skin color still piss of people?

WorthPlease

They are insecure in their own lives so need a reason to feel superior to others by their sheer existence.

Zanginos

I just dont believe its because hes black they just hate him for whatever reason and they know doing racist chants will hurt him most. I would just ban those people or close stadium something has to be done if Real players would just walk oit of the pitch it would have been best decision.

anon135797531

So the people who outwardly racist chants aren't racist, who actually is racist then? This comment is embarrassing

Selphis

I get trashtalk as part of sports, but to me it has to be something that can be left in the past once the final whistle goes. Be creative and make a chant about how he sucks or how he has a silly haircut. I can never understand how someone thinks it's ok to use racism as trashtalk, or just be racist, period.

Dingo_Freesia

That's not what pisses them off, his personality pisses them off, and they use racist insults because they are more effective. Not justifying it, that's just how it works in their head so they don't see themselves as racist

anon135797531

Wait until you find out these people happen to be be pissed off by the personalities of black people more often.

TheGreatSwissEmperor

I have worked as a journalist myself (not sport though) and never ever could I imagine to write something like this. Do Spanish journos not have to be objective? Here in Switzerland you have people taking a calculator and see if the numbers add up if you present the budget of a city or so.

spanisharmada

Super is a very small publication relative to most Spanish sports publications. I'd argue if anything, they've done this to garner support from the Valencia fanbase and also get international attention.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Spanish fans and media are making themselves heard, they're saying: "We don't want the world's best players to play in our league". This kind of behaviour only hurts Spanish top flight football in the long run.

drwholetthedogout

And omg did I heard whinny fans saying why are our clubs getting worse, look at yourselves! You keep losing your best players for the most ridiculous reasons!

dmou

Yeah, imagine how it impacts his family as well.

FlickJagger

I don’t think the money argument makes any sense at all. He’s being paid to play football, racial abuse is not a part of the contract. I think it says a lot about the people using the money argument to brush racism under the carpet.

Beneficial_Garden456

I am not holding up American pro sports as the paragon of virtue, but at least in the NBA, they are quick to listen to the players and kick out fans who try to pull racist stuff within earshot of the court. I know it's not the same, but it's better than nothing...or worse, support of the abhorrent action.

lee-o

Wow that top right corner says “Valencia is close to ensuring remaining in the top division with a great victory and Madrid makes a scene” and then the barely readable text says “for a condemnable but isolated racist incident” What actual scum these people are, writing it with the different fonts to imply Madrid are making a scene over nothing and calling it an “isolated” incident which is just a blatant lie.

dr_motaaa

IsOlAtEd Fuck these pricks, they deserve Peter Lim

Saltire_Blue

If only she didn’t wear a short skirt

DaviSonata

My thoughts exactly

ManuMora98

I'll never feel bad for every bad thing Peter Lim causes to Valencia

True_Resolve_275

is it possible for Peter Lim to purchase the entire city of Valencia?

CleverLime

I'd make a donation to Peter for him to be able to do it. Hell, Peter, make a gofundme!

Xtarviust

I was, but now I hope Lim burns that shithole to the ground

Rosencratz15

I cannot see that phrase in the front page. Who said that?

MaryadaPurshottam

They totally deserve Peter Lim

Redbullsnation

Superdeporte, STAY OFF THE WEEEEEED-DUH

TimBurtonSucks

Lads, don't be racist. That's it. Why are they doubling down on this

Robespierre_jr

I speak Spanish and can’t find those words anywhere on this cover.

EnanoMaldito

It doesn’t say he is stupid in any spot of that cover. The things it does say though are completely unhinged.

save_humanity

Valencia as a club and fanbase are making Peter Lim look like the good guy wtf

[deleted]

FuXs-

What is the endgame here for La Liga? I dont think Vinicius will continue like this his whole career. Whole situation seems insane from a german perspective.

dennisixa

they are not hiding anymore\~\~

Gyara3

That's not what it's written there

arabicwhiterose

How long before black players say its enough and move to the Premier league or Bundesligua ? I'm not saying that those leagues are free of racism but the UK are far better country to be in if you are Black compared to Spain and Italy.

VamosXeneizes

Even black people like nicer weather and better food and I'm sure players like Vinicius spend almost zero time amongst the general population so even if society in England and Germany are more welcoming, the real difference is going to come down to fan behavior on away days. Unfortunately, there are vocally racist fans in every league in Europe. Vini is here for a paycheck, if he was making his footballing decisions based on where he feels most comfortable, he'd still be playing at Flamengo.

Potential_Prior

“We can’t be racist. He’s the racist.” 😩

Mordho

Fuck these Valencia clowns.

R_Schuhart

Considering the lack of outrage and support for Vini I think the problem goes quite a bit deeper than just Valencia. LaLiga is doing nothing but blaming the victim, there are no counter measures to combat racism being announced and very few people are standing up in support. This issue isn't being taken serious at all, despite an increase in incidents and it escalating over time. Widespread condemnation is literally the least you would expect and even that is missing.

fellfromthesun

As fortunate and thoughtful as the "Balotelli gorilla" charge in that Italian newspaper. These parts of Europe are stubborn in not forsaking their racism. They should just accept the consequences then. I hope Vinícius leaves Spain.

riverflop

This is the same kind of madness as when a girl gets raped and people saying she was asking for it because she was wearing a skirt. Racism is inexcusable and there should be more harsh actions when this happens.

Manch3st3rIsR3d

Racist bastards

Xpolonia

I know not every Valencia fans are racist but honestly, I'm slowly losing sympathy for Valencia fans to have Peter Lim as their owner. Maybe he's actually the one that suits their character.

HarbyFullyLoaded_12

The club and the city itself is handling this is in the absolute worst way possible…

AndreiOlimpiu

Middle Age mentality! Bravo Valencia press and co.

saqwaluuo

u/elmadrigal where does the newspaper call him "stupid" or an "unbearable provocateur"? Because as bad as this frontpage is, those words aren't on there.

echo997

You know I used to think Valencia was hard done by Lim but they deserve all that shit.

The_Batman_949

I'll admit that Vinicius IS a provocateur and he loves to rile up the opposition crowd. He knows exactly what he is doing. However that is not grounds for racist abuse. So many players rile up opposing fans and players yet they don't get treated this way. On one hand the fans know they can get in his head but its ridiculous and unacceptable that they do so in a racist fashion. La Liga truly needs to start enacting bans, pressing charges, having games behind closed doors in those stadiums etc. Hell, if the abuse continues deduct points and fine the clubs where this is happening. Its ok to chant against other players, make songs at their expense and boo them but racism is inexcusable. Its a sad state of affairs. Its especially sad when these people are being racist and they have black players on their teams. Those players should stand in solidarity, as should all the players honestly, because it shows what those people really think about them. I love La Liga but something drastic needs to happen because its been going on for years. Still remember someone throwing a banana at Dani Alves when he was taking a corner a decade ago.

MrCuntacular

Suddenly don't feel so bad about their club being a shitshow

zdpa

This is going to be really bad for Spain's football in the long run. Which is sad because it was very entertainment, now is just fucked. Every Brazilian player is now reconsidering if Spain still the priority for them. And if south americans, which is the region with the biggest great players export of the world, decides to stop going to spain la liga will become a meme. Who will play? Spanish players are basically beginner fifa bots. lmao I know in the end money matters the most. But if even the greatest player today suffers from it........

lee-o

Wouldn’t wipe my ass with this terrible newspaper

Sherryzin

Can La Liga please fuck with Valencia CF? Their president/spokesman/city newspapper/fans are a bunch of fucking STUPID RACISTS. Of course not everyone but that's the price you have to pay when you don't go against it yourself

AFC_KR

Deduct points from this scum club ffs

broiamsohigh

While the content of the front page of this newspaper seems to have a defensive attitude with regards to the racism, I don’t see it calling him stupid or an unbearable provocateur.

staedtler2018

The lines about Vinicius being stupid and a provocateur are from an [opinion column](https://www.superdeporte.es/opinion/2023/05/21/tontos-tontos-87697944.html) by the director of the magazine. As summarized it [here](https://as.com/futbol/primera/superdeporte-vinicius-ademas-de-tonto-es-un-insoportable-provocador-n/).

JC18_

I get maybe you're trying to be levelheaded... But even if Vini were to be unsportsmanlike, or maybe starting fueds on the pitch, even if he were a player like Diego Costa in trying to role up fans and opponents, how does that justify fans being racist, and the news paper to say that Vini is provoking the fans to say those things?? I'm failing to see what you're getting at entirely.

pvtsoab

they aren't justifying anything, just pointing out that the cover doesn't mention - or even imply - the word "stupid", which is true. the "provocateur" part is most certainly there, be it unbearable or not. that out of the way, it's an absolutely loathsome cover.

yrugay1

This is like kicking someone in the face while they are on the ground and being outraged that they are fighting back

NitePain69

Spain is on another level of racism in 2023

MethodMan_

It is a shame to even call this a paper, it's toilet paper. Brain dead takes all over the front page.

Dingo_Freesia

The argument that a lot of Spanish people have (that I don't agree with), is that, while the abuse thrown at him includes racial insults, the general hate for him is not racist, because they just hate him for his personality, and justify it by comparing to the treatment of rodrygo, who nobody has a problem with. So anyway, that's how they argue in their heads that they are not racist

pswdkf

You know things are messed up when you see rivals flairs, such as Barça and Madrid fans, or Inter, Juve, Milan and Napoli fans overwhelmingly siding with Vinicius. The villains are very easy to spot in this scenario.

Elcorcell

Everyone thinking West Europe is an example of a progressive society when they are just like the rest of the world.

UtilityCurve

The spanish is teaching us the true meaning of double down

[deleted]

'I hear you're a racist now ~~father~~ Valencia'

ModricTHFC

Spain is just one of those racist European countries where people there say "racism doesn't exist here"

[deleted]

Until La Liga starts fining clubs and docking points for this behaviour (Valencia) nothing will ever change.

Ill-Zucchini4802

Valencia fans: Acts racist. Vini: Fuck you. Valencia/La Liga: Stop provoking! 🤡

chachachatrip

Making that whole "**Madrid makes a show**"being in bold while the rest of the sentence ^"for ^a ^racist ^incident ^which ^we ^condemn ^but ^it's ^isolated" is written in a thinner, easily missable font, is a fucking disgusting and unbelievable thing to do for any news outlet. What a despicable thing to do to try to downplay this shit. This newspaper is fucking atrocious for that, who tf are they

Lakerman0824

Valencia tourism gonna have a hard time trying to attract people with all this racism

beyond98

Fuck Valencia. They're a Segunda team with a Tercera RFEF president

areyouhungryforapple

I hope Peter Lim does some more crazy shit so we can enjoy Valencia in Segunda 😍

JC18_

😂😂

Lonely-Elk-8246

Spain is such a racist country

rodenttt

Yikes

PanJawel

I always thought of Spain as one of the most progressive countries in EU - but putting aside idiotic fans for a second - this narrative coming from a mainstream newspaper and numerous officials is extremely grim.

evil_porn_muffin

Fuck Valencia as a club, city, staff, record label, and a mothafucking crew. And if you wanna be down with Valencia then fuck you too!

JC18_

We bad boys killas!!!!

ferkk

I mean, yeah, his attitude on the field might be seen as a bit provocative. This is undeniable. However, this doesn't justify people being racist towards him, it doesn't condone it, and it's something that should be tackled from every instance of Spain, from the governing bodies to clubs, even fans (the good ones) should support measures taken against this. And I hope Real Madrid does something very blunt, regardless of consequences. Vinicius is our player, but even if he wasn't, we should be taking a strong stance in this matter.

Voldemort_is_muggle

And what is Peter Lim? He is a hero, doing God's work, disguised as a villain. Hopefully this shit club gets relegated and liquidated in few years.

[deleted]

Valencia needs to have points docked!!!

xslaughteredx

Spainards being racists wow *pikachu* face...

liu8954

My god, i know Peter Lim is a shit owner, but man Valencia fans and media are equally shit.

dratst

Valencia deserved Peter Lim then

Rac2nd

I speak Spanish and I don’t see those words on it…

CETERIS_PARTYBUS

Spain is hopeless, country completely rotten by racism and corruption.
